Mafia 3 Achievements not unlock (after 28 march)

well its been over a year since I last posted and played this game since it glitched on me. Anyone know if this has been patched now?

To summarize, you must:
1. Delete your save file from everywhere.
2. Uninstall the game
3. Clear the cache
4. Install the Definitive Edition and start a new game

So far I have been able to unlock closed casket, wrecker, danger close, cash in hand, sure thing boss and live another day (all of which were previously bugged for me.) using the wipe and cache clear method described by allgorhythm. The only one that i am personally still questioning myself is combat specialist. I personally feel like i have done more that 300 takedowns since doing the method. I am at the end of the game and a majority of my kills have been takedowns.

So it could still be bugged that one achievement at least.

TheBiohazard187 said:If you want to complete the game, you need another playthrough anyway. You still have the mutual exclusive flip the bosses and kill the bosses achievements. If the Combat Specialist achievement does not pop, repeat what you did this time before starting your next playthrough. This time, grind the takedowns early at the Church keeping a manual count. It doesn't take that long. I'd also recommend a soft factory reset where you keep your games and apps, before reinstalling the game. I can give you the procedures for doing so if you need it.

Just murdered the 18th boss to no achievement. So there's definitely still some bugged achievements even with a fresh wipe and install. Shame. I was hoping to get the kill 18 so i could clean up in one final playthrough for when they fixed the 4k...... Looks like another 2 playthroughs for me now.

I just finished a playthrough where I killed every racket boss. The achievement for killing all racket bosses did not unlock so I assume it's still glitched. That's the last achievement I need in the game as well, unfortuantely.

I see people unlocking the no loose ends achievement but I still cannot get it to unlock what a waste of time today was.

Let me tell you my buggy adventure of this game. I am using the DE full patched from the recent Trilogy bundle and I never played this game before.

Playthrough one, all DLCs installed, tons of crashes: I did a "bad playthrough" killing every enemy and giving everything to Vito. I didnt get the achievement "Im goin In" on time, it popped the very next day for me, this achievement is not known to be buggy. I won all story achievements as well as those related to one Underboss and Trust too. I didnt win any of the takedowns achievements, only "Closed Cascet" as I decided to farm it in the last area before Giorgi in one sitting with reloading the checkpoint. I didnt win "No Loose ends" and any of the two money buggy achievements (only the 150.000k related one).

-After finishing the main storyline I continued with DLCs, I won everything except from Barkeep, which is to buy the very first renovation for Sammy's bar, I won "Pour Sammy" (fully upgrade Sammy's) though which is know to be buggy for some people. "Wrecker" and "Flambe" were not bugged for me but I decided to farm Flambe with cultists after killing their leader in the theatre (very good farming spot for this) as I had trouble timing myself to get it.

-I ended the playthrough and started a new game. I won "Barkeep" as I picked up the keys in the intro. LooooL... Then I decided to uninstall the DLCs and start a new game, I accidentally deleted the base game as well but that went well because...

Playthrough two, no DlCs installed, only one crash, no one sitting: I farmed the 100 stealth takedowns and the 300 in total takedowns in the toturial area before killing Baka. They unlocked. Money achievements unlocked too. I gathered about 360k without one sitting, then I decided to use the money glitch to gather 500k quickly but the related achievement unlocked when I gathered 140k. Then I spent about 400k in one go and the other money achievement unlocked. I flipped everyone, informant flips obviously unlocked, boss flips luckily unlocked. So I had 5 achievements left: "No loose ends", "Family" and the 3 side mission related to underbosses.

-I completed "IRA dont ask" and won the achievement but the game freezed (infinite loading screen) so I forced quit. I then completed ".45 in my hand" and "I need a favor". I won the related achievements but not Family. Playthrough ends here.

Playthrough three, no DlCs installed, I tried for one sitting but it crashed once so after killing the last boss, no achievement. I raged quit and didnt bother with Family. This playthrough was a waste but I feel quite lucky that I only need "No loose ends" and "Family" after 2-3 playthroughs.

Playthrough four, no DlCs installed, base version 1.0.0.8 from the disc, offline, no one sitting: Only "Family" unlocked. I did the three side missions in one sitting.

Damn "No Loose Ends" seems to be bugged hard for me. The last one I need now..

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused due to missing achievements from Mafia-III. The development team has been notified of this issue and is currently working toward a solution. However, we do not have visibility on their progress here in customer support, and therefore don't have a timeline on when a fix will be implemented.

As soon as that information will be available, our players will be the first to know - I suggest that you keep an eye on our @2K Twitter pages for any updates.

That being said, some progress has been made. And the message is appropriate. 2K is the publisher so customer support does not have the details regarding developer game maintenance but they do know this is an issue of concern. Achievements or trophies are glitched on all platforms not just the X1.

I follow @2K on Twitter. @2K is the overall site for all games published by 2K. The Mafia Trilogy is just one of many so most of the tweets pertain to other games. I’d suggest following @MafiaGame for news specific to Mafia III. @2KSupport is the Twitter account for 2K Customer support but the tweets are primarily about server status & the like. Hangar 13 has a Twitter account as well but the tweets are largely about social events & behind the scenes stuff.
