If your concern is purely getting Gamerscore out of a title quickly, then Quiplash does not require friends or multiple controllers. It is controller through internet browsers, so you can do all of the achievements yourself on your computer.
If you want to play the game for its own value, then yeah not having people to play it with will hamper the value of Quiplash
