Damn, the same hard achievements as the PC version.
Good! The same achievements as the steam version so we've already got guides.

People who have played the PC version - which achievements are hard or will take a long time? It looks a simple list to my uneducated eye but the comments above disagree!

While it looks like a long completion, to anyone with a decent amount of experience in city builders it should like an easy list

Not played a game like this in years, and if it weren't for my backlog I'd be tempted to get this. It looks pretty good. Maybe a future sale purchase.
Stoke me a clipper, I'll be back for Christmas... Whatever!

There are some really lengthy and difficult ones in here. I've sunk quite some time into the PC version..

Some of these achievements will require you to make new cities for solely unlocking the achievement which in itself is lengthy:

Most difficult imo..:

Earthloving City
Higher Education
Make Them Pay
Metropolis
I Want It All

As well as 1001 Nights and building all of the monuments - some of the pre-requisites for unlocking them are long!

"A huge hadron" laugh

How are we thinking the controls will be? Also is this like civ Rev which is a streamlined version of civ or is it the full pc game? Kind of interested, but some would say just buy it on pc...

I played it a bit at Rezzed. It's definitely not a Civ Rev situation in any way; it's designed to be a proper city sim experience. I actually thought the controls and menus worked exceptionally well, better than most console conversions I've seen of this type. Movement was fluid, button mapping made a lot of sense. However with a game this massive you can't really get a full sense in just half an hour.

If you're free at 3pm GMT you can watch Jack and Rich give it a go on Beam!

Just as an heads up, you can't speed up time in this version. I really hope, that this will be there later on. Some achievements will be really hard because of this.

If it's going to be any game that requires a huge amount of time to get through everything it might as well be a city builder for me. I always get sucked into the likes of Tropico for hours and hours on end...

If you bothered to investigate properly you'll see it's for filling 5 land landfill sites, not just "having" them.

Don't just spout unconfirmed bullshit.
