Hello all, I've decided to take up the mantle of writing the guide for Dying Light. Just wanted you guys to know that I'm planning to try to have the guide done and ready for review by the end of May. I am going to try to include as many details as I possibly can, including making my own videos and translating them into text where applicable. If anyone has any questions regarding where I am in the walkthrough, send me a message or post it here, and i will try my best to keep you updated. See you guys at the end of May!

Will this be more text based, with videos as a supplement? Or more video oriented, with text as a supplement?

This will be purely text based with videos as supplement. I will only use videos for the parkour challenges to show exactly what i do. For the collectables, i will use a edited video showing the locations, but also will include a text guide. I might also include my bozak horde run, depending on if i can get the DVR function on the Xbox to work with me. There will be images and maps throughout the entire guide.

Please refrain from making concrete declarations about when things will be updated, edited or submitted for review. Not creating deadlines means we can be safe from blowing said deadlines. Whenever you can get this finished, I'm eagerly awaiting to get it through for final publication.

I'm sorry i didn't make it in time. I decided to leave to spend time with family over thanksgiving. All i have left to do is put in videos of the parkour challenges and some screenshots of the maps. I'll do it as soon as i possibly can, it will be sometime within the next few weeks. Gtasc is going to be my priority the next two weeks.
I was using those deadlines as goals for myself, and i met almost all of them. But i am putting my family before gaming.

I was only saying as a general rule of thumb, as this community tends to take deadlines quite literally. Again, I look forward to you submitting it (whenever you can), so I can get this bad boy into circulation.
