Quick question: Does all of the DLC come with backwards compatibility games? Let me lay out the scenario.

I bought Fallout 3 Collectors Edition, but digitally bought all of the DLC.
    I sold the collectors edition.
I bought Fallout 3 digitally in this sale.

I should be able to download all of the DLC I bought digitally right?
that should work. just press cn_back
on the game in your games & apps and the dlc should be ready to install.

Has anybody received the message "Something unexpected happened" with an error code 0x8007000F after purchasing some of these games?

I purchased about 8 or 9 arcade games, and they installed with no issue.

I purchased Alice: Madness Returns and it always stops at 953MB of 6GB and shows the message above - I've tried re-installing it 5 times with the same result each time.

I also purchased Eat Lead, same thing is happening..

I have plenty of space available on my hard drive, and I've performed a hard reset of the console as well.

Thanks - other than that what a sale!!

    Great sale this I bought:

    Alice Madness Returns
    Battlestations Midway
    Stuntman Ignition
    Left 4 Dead
    Medal of Honor Airborne
    Battlefield Bad Company 2

I just wished MS added Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey, Max Payne 3 and Battlestations Pacific.

Technically the sales go until 2am PST so ten am GMT on Tuesday. I usually buy my stuff at last minute since I procrastinate

From what I can tell, no Sega game is part of this sale. That makes me sad as some of them have the highest completion rate of these BC games.

The other scenario that kind of sucks is DLC on discs with limited editions. Do those translate well or is it impossible to get the DLC (free) if you don't have the disc?

I saw with Dragon Age: Origins, people were complaining that the 2nd disc with bonus DLC would not work for their Xbox One. So even though you had that content on the 360 and just now bought a Dragon Age: Origins license, you wouldn't be able to download that DLC for free? (I have no idea if its even available for purchase digitally)
If you installed the DLC from a disc you wouldn't have a digital license for it, so it wouldn't appear. You would have to install it from the disc again.

If you bought it digitally, of course it will work. Same for redeemed codes.

These sales are fine and all, but sudden disappearances from backwards compatible games like motocross madness and xcom enemy unknown make me not trust the whole BC thing.

Loving the sale. Picked up L4D2.

But my main gripe is that now the DLC is more expensive than the main games. Real first world problems.

Sadly, all my friends traded in their 360/ps3 etc as well and moved on to X1 and Ps4. You are right I have xbox credit I would like to use, rather not use my credit card for such small purchases. I can get a second hand 360 for about $80 and there are still games that I hoped would have come to backwards compatible by now but have not, I miss playing games like Tales of Vesperia, GTA San Adreas etc.
I understand that you have xbox credit already, and that sadly you can't use it to purchase 360 games on the One. I was in the same situation last year, and I agree that there shouldn't be this problem.

What I was suggesting was that for now you just leave your credit alone, and set up a PayPal account so you can use that do download the 360 games. You only need to load it up with enough money to purchase what you need, then leave a little money on it for future purchases.

Then in future if there's any One games you want to purchase you can use your xbox credit for those, so you don't end up with your credit just sitting there unused.

I really hope they do allow you to use your credit for 360/BC purchases in the future, but for now the easiest option would be to setup a PayPal account and load it with £20 or whatever. Not waste £80 on a cheap 360. Hopefully any games you have that are not BC yet will make it to the program so you won't have to get another 360, but if you want to play them sooner rather than later then I guess that's up to you if you want to fork out the extra cash.
Stoke me a clipper, I'll be back for Christmas... Whatever!

Is Jetpac Refulled available as a physical copy when you buy Rare Replay? I'm wondering whether or not to get it.

Don't get it, since the game is terrible.

I figured that was the case. When I saw Fallout 3 and NV for sale, I was going to buy it but wanted to double check.

Really wish they made an optional check-in somehow and let me offload all of my BC 360 discs onto my X1.
