Some day Gears 4 and ReCore will drop brow the $30 and $20 price points respectively, and on that day I will buy them.
ReCore is currently $12.58 for a new physical copy on Amazon, so you might check that out.

Too bad the Sunset Overdrive and Escapists DLC aren't on sale on their own since I already have both games through GwG.
Posting from sunny Australia.

So Ryse Legendary Edition is $9.90 but €19.80 ??? And in France, it's €23.10 !!!

Do we, french people, are richer? I do not think so...

But that makes better sense since the Season Pass containing all DLC is €19.99. It's cheaper than the Legendary Edition. And that's a great deal. Without sale, it's €69.99 for legendary edition while in the US it's $29.99...

Do both Ori and the blind forest achievements come separately? I mean do I get 2250 Gamerscore with that purchase?

So you guys think that if i buy the Ori and te blind forest bundle i get to own and download both versions of the game? Does that mean i have two "different" games to complete? That would be so cool considering the discounted prize!
Yes, you'll get two seperate lists (two games).
I just checked and I don't see a bundle listed. I only see the price listed for the Definitive Edition. Do I still get the standard version if I purchase the DE? Unless someone can point me to the bundled listing. Thanks

different economics in different countries. As an example, milk doesn't cost the same in every country, so.. games don't either.

So no one takes note of Sunset Overdrive going on sale into the month of TA playlist spot? Pretty neat for those who don't have the game yet.

Two easy completions for cheap (LA Cops and Grand Prix Rock 'N Racing) and I'm out of money! angry

Oh well, I guess my backlog is long enough already. cry
Grand Prix Rock N Racing has been broken for me since I got it. The multiplayer doesn't recognise more than one controller and the time trials won't let me change the set up of the car. The time trials are impossible if you can't change the set up. As such, I can't complete it. No amount of deleting and reinstalling seems to make a difference. Ah well!

Were it not for a considerable backlog and not enough time to play and I might consider getting Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Oh well, the price will eventually go even lower or GwG eventually.
No signature for me, just being down right, old, plain, silly

I quite understand that for physical products. You have the whole chain involved : Producer, transport, seller...) and all depend of national/local laws & taxes.

But such a difference (€70 agains $30) for a digital product? Come on...

Also currency exchange rate comes into play here. I have Canadian friends who complain all the time that their games are more expensive.

I am not talking about cost of making the product. I am talking local economics. I am no expert and I am not about to dive into a lot of research just to try and explain, but countries have different economics. Say your hourly payment is 1 dollar in one country but 5 dollars in another. Would be pretty fair to say that if you're paid 5 dollars an hour that stuff, including games, is a bit more expensive in that country as opposed to the same in the country where someone is getting only 1 dollar an hour?

Australia is hard hit by taxes when it comes to games, I give you that. As far as I understand, partly because I sometimes read along the aus kotaku, they try and fight the issue, and small steps are happening.

Have been waiting long enough for Mafia III, one of the good things about a huge backlog is that you save alot of cash holding out on new games coming out.

I'm not an economic specialist and my posts were not aimed to explain all this smile. I'm just saying than economic level life in France and in USA are comparable and exchange rate between € and $ is almost 1 (1.12$ = 1 € today => 30$ is not 70€ but 26.7 €)

There is no economic reason behind this difference. Just a really bad price policy.
