Awesome. Is there a 4k tv thread out there? I put a lot of time into picking out my last tv, and it was raved about, but I am not that happy with it.

I may be a bit behind on this, and Im sure someone may have already answered it somewhere but will this have a input for the kinect or is it dead now? Just curious as I still have games to finish with it and want to know before I get rid of the box I have to upgrade.

    Good question.

Scratch that. The Xbox One S uses an adaptor so there is no input for it but you can still use it. I'm sure you can do the same with the One X. They did say all accessories will work with it as well.

I was waiting to see Fallout 4 VR.

Probably will be announced the VR Headset later this year?

Definitely getting a One X. Surprised they didn't mention VR, but honestly I'm not looking to get VR. What I've tried made me nauseous. Glad to see examples of power going towards frame rates and 4K.

Bethesda has a conference tonight in an hour and 20 minutes. Maybe you will see something for VR Fallout there that isn't specific to Microsoft.

Frontier Developments (publishers of Elite: Dangerous) hinted at VR for console in their forums.

It will eventually be a thing the VR on Xbox,
    But just not yet.

I read that they will wait until they can provide a VR wireless experience, something like HoloLens but in VR.

still not a buy for me. 4k just isn't a possibility as most OLED and QLED TVs are still not close to the quality of Plasmas (with the exception of the higher resolution). Also most of what I watch and do on my TV isn't 4k yet. Guess I'll save some money on this go round until the TV technology and broadcast catches up to where I would want it to be.

Was surprised by the price, I though it would be $100 to $200 more. Glad to see they are doing this retroactively with these games.

I think I'll skip this console and get the next version... if they're going to start punching them out as frequently as an Assassin's Creed title, then there's no point in wasting my time on this one.

I don't understand your comment, Australia are getting the X1X for $445 USD + tax, and you say rip.

Same again, $650 CAD = $483 USD, how on earth is that a ripoff.

$650 for Australia is actually the cheapest for the xbox one x, holy shizen us Australians actually get the cheapest version! Is the real?
    ^ They get it :)

It's $750 NZD in New Zealand. I remember paying $800 NZD for a X360 Elite (20GB HDD) over a decade ago, and my 2TB X1S was $700 NZD just last year. I really thought given the hardware spec of the X1X it would be the most expensive Xbox yet, but that is not the case.
