I'm getting tired of having to pirate every indy game to try it out when there used to be demos n shit. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this and I do honestly uninstall and delete them once iv made my purchasing decision, I know its a taboo subject but would u buy a car before driving it? Watching the player clips at the bottom don't accurately represent a game.
On the Positive I tried Subnautica and loved it and made my purchase would just have been so much easier doing it legit and from xbox...... /endrant
Microsoft's answer to that is their new return policy they're testing. It'll allow you to return a game if you don't like it as long as:
- You must return the unwanted game or app in the first 14 days after purchasing it.
- You must have less than 2 hours of play time on the game across all accounts.
- DLC, season passes, and add-ons are not eligible.
- You must actually download and launch the game or app before you can request a refund.
- Microsoft says that certain, unspecified Windows 10 apps will not work with the self-service return system.
- Finally, “Microsoft reserves the right to block access for users who abuse self-service refunds.”
Ty for this. I have 2 issues thou one of which being the achievements tag to your account so if you decide for the refund you have an incomplete to your account second trusting Microsoft to uphold I do not.
Try feature required for every game still wins IMO. Demos like the 360 days were simple and effective. Just sayin.
