Fast-paced and fun, even if it does get repetitive

I myself still give it a 4/5, but personally, they need re-add the system they had in Saints Row 3 and IV that allowed you to purchase an add-on to see collectibles on your map...either that or separate them by sectors so you know at least where to look...

Didn't like it at all. The first mission was fun but when they let you go in the world. It just felt bland.

This is one of the more positive reviews I have seen on this game.

Any co op? The only thing bearable about saints row 3 was that it could be tackled with a friend!

Kindest review I've seen of the game so far.

I'll pick it up in a few months on sale though! headspin

It's single player only.

More time consuming than easy. Probably will take around 50-60 hours for full 1000G.

Good review. Personally I really fell in love with the combat so I'm enjoying the game more than most but the criticisms it's been getting have been fair. If you're someone who values really solid combat and character loadout customization than you might want to give the game a chance, but for everyone else it will be a solid buy when it goes on sale.

Or at least add them to the map when you hit the scan button. The chests and stuff stay visible for WAY too short of a timeframe after a scan.

was on the fence about this game. Looks fun, but looks like it will get repetitive quickly without much depth. Luckily, POE is out in a few days. Will look for this one when I have free time and it's on sale.

open world games are always repetitive - ghost recon. WD2. home work for the completionist

Interesting review, I agree with the poster above, the reason I play the Saints games is because they are co-op...not really interested if this isn't the case here.

Playing the game right now and it's fantastic! Shame it doesn't have a co-op.

This game is great.

It's much more polished than any of the previous "Saints-Row" titles are and it's got that attention to detail in both graphics and writing that make it stand out.

Seoul looks stunning. The world is beautiful and it's fun to explore.

What's wrong? Can't enjoy yourself travelling around the world unless the game is GIVING you something?

Admittedly, Western Culture with it's 24/7 News, Internet, Twitter, Life Invader, Payday Loans and Buy Now - Pay Later... It's understandable that some gamers are probably pre-conditioned to have a short attention span but this is a case of a guy you might know what he likes and what he doesn't like... but doesn't appreciate a great game.

Saturday morning cartoon feel is spot on. Not only with an evil head baddy but with Leuitenants as well, like Destro, Baroness and Zartan in GI Joe.

Sure some bits are similar like the Lairs, but over all this is a much better game than the reviewer gives it credit for being.

Just grab yourself Daisy and have a skate around Seoul.

The fact that there is no co-op play has made it a definite buy. I hate co-op play with a passion in any game. Sounds an okay game.

Not true at all. The GTA series comes to mind.
