I wouldn't mind playing some of these games, but I don't want to do it twice.

I think pretty much all their games bar 1 or 2 you have to do 2 playthru's for the 1000gs. I always find the 2nd play through a chore cos you do all the same puzzles/locations again. The fact you have to do this twice in one sitting as well is just dumb

I don't mind playing through these games a half hour at a time here and there, but I rarely play through all the way in one sitting. I usually play them to make myself sleepy. And it works.. I'd never make it through twice in one sitting!

The hidden objects scenes start to make me weirdly anxious once I do too many. Strange, I tell you.

I must admit, I certainly enjoy the Artifex Mundi titles that don't require a second playthrough; there's an overall sense of gloom that lingers when you know you have to sit through the same dialog and items a second time (without them truly being any different).

Let players play their Majong or let them play the Hidden Object scenes. But please, don't make us play both every single time.

There was a patch earlier last week... Could they have patched the problem where you have to do it all in one sitting?
