I've been following news on this and I have to say... I can't freaking wait. I don't want a Skate 4 if EA is publishing, anyway.

Really excited for this. Hopefully they can stay on track so they release it to Game Preview in 2018, as mentioned.

Wasn't this game called Project Session before? I still play Skate 3 quite a bit, we are in desperate need of something newer and fresher so count me in!
Looks pretty sweet and a day/night cycle is awesome and something Skate definitely lacked. All the animations look super awkward and janky though, but to be expected in early development, I imagine Skate looked no different in early stages.

the animations (especially in and out of grinds) look really jerky. but overall it looks great for early dev, here's to hoping this will be the skating game we've been waiting years fortoast

I backed this the other day, first time I've ever used Kickstarter. £15 and I get a digital code. Game could end up being a full retail title so am more than happy to give money early and support them if it saves me money. Even if it turns out rubbish it's a skateboarding game so I want it! lol

You know what, I'm going to do the same. I've been waiting years for a Skate successor and I would love to support the company that is actually making it happen. Really cool that you'll be able to play a demo of it in January, too.

Looks good, but what is there to work towards if there's no point system? Reminds me of golf club where the content looked good, but there was a lack of variety.

As long as EA has nothing to do with this, I might jump on board.
