If we are on a current dive, will the system pick it up when we click end during the start of the comp? Or will we have to end all current ones, and start over?

I believe you have to end and start a new one.

Just be aware that when you start a new one, it will wipe all previous info.
    Play nice!

How are we all going with dive numbers so far? I think I'm sitting on Approx 200 (Still thinking of adding some game-pass games as well to go truly all out this year with my dive) :)

I've never done a TA event before, mostly because I'm a mediocre gamer at best. This looks like a lot of fun though so I'll be signing up on Thursday.

I’m aiming for around 100 which will be my biggest so far. It’ll probably take a while too.

Any possibility we could see a development in the future where we can extend Bean Dives if we didn't finish our previous year? Would love to be able to still aim for the old goal and just let it last longer instead of always starting a new one.

I don't think anything really needs to be done since you can still view your previous dives. I participate every year so my 2018 dive "wiped" my previous dive, except it really doesn't. I can still go to

    Bean Dive 2017

and see my dive from 2017 on the right side. Here it is:

    PlayUltimate711's Bean Dive

It doesn't REALLY wipe all the data, it just only displays your most recent dive on your homepage. I think it's sufficient that you can still see all your dives.

    PlayUltimate711's Bean Dive
    PlayUltimate711's Bean Dive
    PlayUltimate711's Bean Dive

You don't get the "RadicalSniper99 has recovered 25% of their bean dive" items on your friend feed and you don't get the most recent dive in a box on your homepage, but I'm happy with being able to view the previous dives.
