Do not pause in Hi Score Mode or Caravan Mode. It will not allow you to unpause and you will have to restart from the beginning!
Start off by choosing Hi Score Mode.
Choose Ryo.
If you have played another fighting game before, you will most likely know the generic ranged attack command. If not, it is

if you are facing to the left).
What you will want to do, to complete this game, is use that 2 or 3 times (however many times your power bar under your health allows). Then, jump kick them by jumping towards them and pressing 
over and over again until you win. You will want win 2 rounds against the first enemy without getting hit.
If you get hit in round one, you will definitely want to pause and restart. Continue past round one if you get a perfect. You will have over 40k points if you managed it. This will unlock:
If you get hit in round two, then get him to as low health as possible without killing him and let him kill you.
If you must play round three, you must get your second perfect now. This will bring you up to 89k+ points. This will unlock:
Now, all you have to do is get about 10k points against enemy number 2 using the same strategy (you may need to use some duck kicks: ). If you win round one with enough health and fast enough, you should get at least 10k. Regardless, do as much damage as possible. All that you need to hit is 100k. Once you hit it, just let him kill you. Then, press to turn the first initial into A and mash 
until it asks to put your high score online. Say yes. This will unlock:
Quit to the main menu.
Choose Caravan Mode. This will be the exact same thing except you will only have 5 minutes to reach 100k. Just do the exact same thing again. The timer shouldn't be a problem unless the second round takes a long while without you getting a perfect. On the path to 100k, you will unlock:
Time for the easy, but longer, part.
Choose Japanese Version Original Mode. Then, press 
to get past the controls screen.
Press 
to pause. Choose game settings. Raise round time to 99, lower difficulty to level 1, and raise "1 stage" to 5 round. Press 
to back out of the menu and save your changes. Press 
at the menu to 'insert a coin'. Now, use the method from before (but only worry about the first round perfect). You just need to reach 200k points, but the fights will be easier and you will gain more time points. Get as many perfects as you can, but you will still most likely need to do the bonus round after fighting the fatty. Choose the ice one in the middle, then mash as fast as possible for thousands of extra points. By now, you should only need a tiny bit of points. So, just continue with the jump kicks to get enough points against the third enemy. Once you hit 200k, let yourself die and fill in your initials. Then, press to submit your score online.
