6. Age of Sparta (WP) Phase 3: Combat

Phase 3 is where you fight and oddly enough, run away. You'll want to build 40 of each your three best (most expensive) units, one of each combat "type" (Sword, Chevron, and Lightning symbols) and 40 of your best flying unit. Do not fuse units yet! This is very important, we want to get the problematic achievement, "Vengeful", as soon as possible. In order to do that we are going to trick other players into thinking we're weak.

When another player attacks you the game picks your five strongest units to defend. Fusing units together makes them stronger, by leaving them unfused (rank 1) it will appear to other players that you are an "Easy" or "Very Easy" target. That should increase the chances that someone is able to attack you and win. As soon as a player has attacked you and won, go to your HQ, select "Reports", and then select the option to "Revenge Attack" the other player. At the troop selection screen do not attack! Instead, click the red "X" in the top right corner of the screen. This will close the window, count as a "Revenge Attack", and allow you to select the "Revenge Attack" option a second, third... and tenth, time. If you attack the player instead of closing the troop selection window you will lose the ability to revenge attack that player again and have to wait for someone else. This method unlocks:

Vengeful

Attack 10 enemies in revenge

Next comes the grind which requires you to win 500 PvP battles. Thankfully, during this grind you can also go for other achievements which I will describe in the next paragraph. There's no way around this grind unfortunately, you'll need to pick targets with +Gold beside their name on the PvP screen and defeat them. The +Gold means someone has placed a bounty on them and you'll earn extra money for defeating them. As you play you'll lose units and need to replenish them, I try to keep 5-10 fully ranked up units in my stash at all times. A key number to remember: 40 rank 1 units are required to fuse a single rank 4 unit. You'll receive the following achievements:

Disciple Of Ares

Attack 25 enemy players
