5. Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham
You will start in prison in this first chapter. Put on the jump suit and examine the cell. After doing so, a guard will come in welcoming you in your new cell. Two guys will try to beat up for what your dad did to them. You'l' be saved by a familiar person. He goes by the name of John Doe. Two employees of Arkham Asylum will come in later and question you about what happened. That'll conclude this chapter.
Alfred will come and visit you. He's got a reason to get you out, depending on your choice earlier. While driving in the car, Harvey will call you and say that you've made a wrong decision. You'll get stopped by a police checkpoint. The officer wants to search your car. Some angry people will attack your car and the officer offers you to let you pass in return for a small donation. You can also choose to let Alfred ram through the barricade. If you chose to let Selina stay in your manor in the previous episode, you'll now see her say goodbye. After that, you'll go to the batcave with Alfred. Lucius will be there if you invited him to work for you earlier. Examine the drug molecule and the clean DNA at the Batcomputer. You'll need to modify the drug molecule. Match the molecule to the one on the top left. For me it worked like this:Move the bottom one to the right twice, go up once to switch to the middle piece. Rotate that one once to the right. Go up once to change again. Rotate that twice to the right. Grab the antidote and inject the cure into your arm. Your lead is Vicki Vale's parents' house. Inside the house, walk to the left to find a body. It's Mrs. Vale. Investigate the entire scene so you can link some pieces of evidence. Link the syringe to the neck wound. Link the knife to the lock of hair. Link the logo to the family photoLink the wall intendation to the belt buckle. There appears to be someone else in the house. Scan the stairs to find a little boy, the one from the picture. First, calm the boy down. Then asked him what happened. One of Penguin's drones will show up. Some QTE will result in you taking out the drone. Officer Gordon will show up. After some short conversation, this chapter is over.You arrive in the batcave and will need to find out why the EMP-device was malfunctioning. Remove the exterior case, turn the device around, remove the back case and the side case, turn around again and investigate the circuit board. Harvey is about to seize Wayne Manor. You will need to pay him a visit as either Batman or as Bruce. After making your decision, this short chapter is finished.You will start talking with Harvey, either as Batman or as Bruce. After a while, you will notice Harvey's ordered to blow up a building to try and stop the Children of Arkham, thereby killing innocents. If you are here as Batman, you will threaten Harvey to get the whereabouts of Gordon. You will save Gordon and have a chat. If you are Bruce, you will be knocked out and brought to Crime alley yourself. Gordon will then come and save you.You will both need to stop Harvey from seizing your Manor, but at the same time Penguin's attacks are getting worse, thus forcing you to Wayne enterprises. Make a choice of where to go to while in your car. You will either start this final chapter in Wayne Manor or in at Wayne enterprises, depending on your choice in the previous chapter. If you're at Wayne enterprises, follow the short QTE events to get to the top floor and "fire the new CEO". Your tech will malfunction when you try and link one of the dudes to something to take them down with. Follow the QTE's again to end up in an elevator with Cobblepot. Downstairs you will fight him, eventually breaking his legs. Destroy the hacking device to prevent Cobblepot from hacking into your system. Harvey will have burned down your Manor. If you're at Wayne Manor, you will arrive to see Alfred trying to stop Harvey. Try to use your tech by examining one of Harvey's men and linking it to an object. It'll fail, so you will have to do it the old fashioned way. Follow the QTE's during the fight. First, you will take out a lot of Harvey's men. Harvey will pick up a machine gun. Work your way around the house and eventually take Harvey down after Alfred saves you. At the end choose to send him to Arkham or to prison.
You'll be shown around a bit of the prison. Once you reach the room in which you can walk around, John will give you a key. You are able to try and unlock all kinds of things, but don't bother, it doesn't fit. Walk to the left and talk to the guy who tries to keep order. Talk to some other prisoners until John arrives to watch television. Talk to him to join him for the news. John will tell you a whole lot about Vicki, after the news show has ended. John claims he can get you out, in return for a favour once he gets out of the prison.
A fight will start. You can choose to stop the fighting or to make a call.
If you choose to make a call, either call your lawyers or Gordon's connections. Both will try and get you out. If you choose to fight, you have to perform some QTE's and you'll be knocked out.
