Correct. There was a miscommunication between us and the writer. He meant to sign up for a different game. Anyone who wants to write a walkthrough for Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, contact either Tasty Pastry or myself!

A small note could be added in the DLC section reminding people playing the Rare Replay version of the game that they already have the DLC and they don't need to download it.

Hey everyone, KinectKid333 and I are going to co-author the changes to this walkthrough. I dunno how many people are in the middle of playing this game or are looking forward to the changes, but I’ll put a preview link in this comment later today so everyone can see the current state of the walkthrough at any time; that way you all have at least something to look at as we replace everything with better information. We plan to completely scrap all of the old material since it wasn't all that useful to begin with, and we hope that the changes meet your expectations.

Just figured out that this thing is gonna have about 39 pages; hopefully this isn't a problem for anyone. We're planning to give each Act its own page, so that's what accounts for 30 of them. If you ever have any questions or anything, feel free to post them in this thread. I'll occasionally post updates on the WT here, but the blog on my profile page is almost always up to date with whatever I'm working on.

KinectKid333 has fantastic expertise in the game due to speedrunning, so our combined efforts should hopefully make this walkthrough the most detailed one out there.

We'll be clearing up the Getting Started portion of the walkthrough soon; KK333 is going to be making a big video on what to do at the start to minimize total playtime, as well as provide video tutorials on how to build specific vehicles that'll help a LOT with certain challenges. I'll be starting work on it soon as well, and will try to work on the preliminary stages of the game in "amateur" terms (such as myself and almost anyone else to play this game in the future) while KK333 blasts through all the challenges, jotting down some quick notes as he goes along for me to see later.

I think I said all of that right; if not, I'm sure my fellow co-author will correct me. Regardless of my accuracy, I still expect the WT to start making some noticeable progress fairly soon.

All good and accurate!

The first recording of the "Getting Started" video had some mic problems. I was going to just do a voiceover instead of making another recording, but then I realized that doing that would take the same amount of time-if not, longer, and that also since the first recording was messy and not well thought-out and there are a couple things I forgot to mention/do, I'm just going to make a second recording. That video should be edited, finalized, and uploaded by tomorrow (hopefully)

I've discovered that the previous WT work contained material copied directly from GameFAQs. I'm surprised that the walkthrough was so bad and still plagiarized other work.

Aside from bagging on the previous work, I've got a small update on how things are going. I've still got to write the second half of the Getting Started page, but I've begun marking down Mumbo Crate locations and contents, as well as Music Note locations around Showdown Town. I've finished work on another walkthrough, so I can relocate that time into this one; thanks to having more time I'll try to get at least 3-4 Acts of the game done by next Monday.

Again, you can see the material in the WT at any point with the preview link I posted near the top of this thread. There's no reason to suspend the information we've already created from you.

Got a lot more work done this weekend than I thought cause I had no other plans and no assignments due for classes. That and I slept through my only class on Friday.

Four Nutty Acres acts and three LOGBOX acts are taken care of, the Getting Started page is written up into text to match the video, the locations (and videos) of all the Notes in Nutty Acres, LOGBOX, and Showdown Town are all available on the Music Notes page, and a lot of info has been put into the Showdown Town page. All six Jinjos and Minjos are written up and recorded, all of the Mumbo crates are located and the ones I've found are recorded. Apparently you can get 47/51 crates and all 900 Notes with just the high-grip wheels, the hover glitch, and the laser grid glitch.

The multiplayer page has also been written up, and I tested whether or not the worst of the achievements (the marathon league one) is doable solo today, so I can confirm that it can be done by yourself. I personally am 026/131 Jiggies into the game, so you could use that as some idea of how much of the walkthrough is done.

KK333 is going to be pointing things (and me) in the right direction over this week, as I have absolutely no idea what to do for any Jiggy challenge that hasn't already been written up. Work should resume next weekend, but I'm not sure if it'll end up making as much progress as this weekend was.

Sounds like this will make this game a lot easier so I'm gonna hold off starting it until this is published, plenty of other games to be getting on with.

Thanks for all the hard work so far smile

Thanks man, I hope the end product meets your expectations.

I figured I may as well make another update post for this weekend as well. We've finished another LOGBOX Act and three Banjoland Acts, and a bunch of Jinjo missions have been finished up for Acts that we haven't touched the challenges on yet. All the Notes in Banjoland have been written up and turned into a video (again, you only need the ones in Showdown Town), and Klungo's Arcade has also been finished up. I've got three hours left in the night, so I'm gonna try to work on the first two Acts of the Jiggosseum in KinectKid333's footsteps to get those pages done before this Thursday. With Veteran's Day (USA) coming up, a lot more work should be done this upcoming weekend too.
EDIT: The first two Jiggosseum Acts have been finished.

Please feel free to scope out how the walkthrough looks at the moment; any feedback is appreciated. I'm not sure how to gauge the %age that reflects the completion of the walkthrough, but I'm going to undershoot it for a nice 20%.

Fun Fact: The guy who wrote the walkthrough before us never earned more than 30 Jiggies in the game to this day.

I'd been holding off on this waiting for publication of the completed walkthrough but I went ahead and dug in over the last several days. Your introduction video with Vroom setup instructions was a big help, as were the pages that are completed. Thanks for giving access to the preview.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad to hear that having the preview link up for a walkthrough has finally been beneficial to someone. It makes me wonder why people don't do that more often though.
