4. Battlefield: Bad Company Multiplayer

Welcome to Bad Company multiplayer. This will take a while...

From the marketplace description:

"The game features the all new, objective based multiplayer game mode "Gold Rush", supporting 24 players online. Play as attackers and defenders and make full use of the tactical destruction as well as the unique vehicle experience that can only be experienced in Battlefield: Bad Company."

If you are in for the long-haul I would say the following free downloads are mandatory for boosting:

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-AU/Product/Battlefield-Bad-Co...

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-AU/Product/Battlefield-Bad-Co...

All up you will need a hard-drive with at least 350MB of space available for the downloads, this will allow you to do kill boosting and get a majority of the awards in-game when boosting. Some like Chopper vs Chopper are nearly impossible without playing on Conquest due to their glitched requirements.

The first achievement is for capturing a screenshot in the game (cn_up while in a match, must be spawned in). Simply spawn in as you normally do (cn_A after picking class and selecting spawn spot) followed by cn_up, you will know if it succeeds as it shows up as either "Screenshot Uploaded Successfully" in white or "Upload Failed to Upload" in orange. If it succeeds then just do twice more for:

Catch The 'Bad' Moment

(Online) Take 3 pictures using the image system

Catch The 'Bad' Moment
3 guidesOnline Game ModeVersusCumulative +Players Required4 Players Required

Now if this did not work for you; you will get this at the end of a match randomly, this usually takes you past your initial 100 matches (As tested three times) to get. As of now there is no known fix for the issue of it not uploading successfully except to wait for it to unlock of it's own accord.

Is that a bird? A plane? No that is a player plummeting to their death without a parachute.

This game does not come with parachutes, so this achievement is more of a joke towards that. To get this I would recommend getting into a team-mates helicopter (A friend is obviously a bit more reliable) and then bailing out once it has gotten high off the ground (Just keep pulling , fall-damage takes care of the rest). For guaranteed success keep pulling helicopter up cn_LSu until it has hit the ceiling height of the level and fall into a body of water. You will get:

This one is down to skill or can be gained during boosting. The boosting method is described below however if you want to get this in a normal match just play to your classes strength and assist team-mates with ammo, health and targeting. If you can fly helicopters then this is a given otherwise you will most likely get this before Rank 50 and 100 matches:

To get 100 matches simply working on the other achievements you will get well over 100 matches played, so this is a given if you go for 10,002 kills:

To get a dogtag all you have to do is knife an enemy, obviously easier if they do not see you or are too close to respond quick enough. To melee cn_Y and then a combination of cn_Y+cn_RT to pull off a double knife to get more dogtags quicker. As you are playing online you will meet many snipers and campers unaware of you, this will be gained before getting Rank 25 or 100 matches as long as you remember it has to be 50 different dogtags. When you get your first 5 unique dogtags you will get:

The next two are gained over the course of getting all the awards and kills.

For Vehikill you will need a kill in a jeep, tank, boat and helicopter.

For jeeps there are many tactics to use, for these you will be getting road-kills and transport trophies so focus on those instead. For easy transport trophies get a friend or do this solo in a Gold Rush match on End of the Line. When you are on the attackers team wait until the farm has been taken and then grab a transport vehicle from spawn found in the back of the base behind the artillery piece. Drive it up past the farm keep to the left of the base you are attacking, as you get to the back there is a hill you can park on and fire down into the enemies base. You can usually net two trophies before the enemy is aware of your presence there.

For road-kills you are best driving around off-road as there are many unaware ghillie suits that are easy road-kills, try to avoid the base as there are always mines and tanks to ruin your day.

For tanks you will be gaining a bulk of your 100 kills in them so use the Supports repair tool, to keep the tank functioning go into a safe corner of the map to repair the tank if it gets too damaged. For light tanks you are best staying at a distance and hammering the Attacker or Defender spawn for a number of kills, for heavy tanks you can get in closer and use the main gun to destroy plenty of vehicles and emplacements. Beware of mines they are big yellow circles on the road, as with any Battlefield game they will be hidden in craters and around corners. You can hit artillery pieces across the map for easy kills just look for the barrel sticking up like a sore thumb and hit that. (This works on Harvest Day)

Boats are a tricky one as they are severely limited to what they can actually hit and are not the best for base assaults, more so as transport vehicles. You can either get the kills boosting road-kills or in a match of Gold Rush on Oasis, End of the Line or Valley Run. On Valley Run you can get this from first attacker base to the right there will be a dock with a boat, use it to run people down in the creek bed or use the grenade launchers to hit the demountables. In End of the Line use this during the first, second or third base. Second base is best as you can blast the harbor from a safe distance, beware of squad mates nicking your boat though. On Oasis this may not be the best map however if you can get the boat without people getting into it, you get some easy road-kills from people hiding around the bridge or by driving it under the bridge and hitting their base. Same can be done for the rest of the map however there are less opportunities for kills.

Helicopters are going to be many peoples weakness so you are better off getting into the gunner seat and hoping the pilot won't bail out or get you killed. If in the pilot seat you can hammer the bases for lots of kills however in the gunner seat you can pinch occasional kills.

After killing once with each of the vehicle types you will get:

Once you get 100 kills in vehicles as listed above you will get:

For this achievement you will need to destroy 1000 walls or fences or just about anything. I will say this will come while working on everything else especially as artillery spamming, tanks, helicopters, C4, grenade-launchers and many other things all cause a lot of destruction. So play the game being aware that there is no fence or wall that will get in your way. To get this done quicker you can use AA guns which are common throughout the Conquest game mode and on maps Oasis/Harvest Day on Gold Rush. These have infinite ammo and can destroy a lot of fences and walls very quickly. You will get this when you have met the requirements:

Never Used a Door

(Online) Destroy 1000 walls

For the trees using AA guns and tanks is the best way to go. You will knock a fair few just driving around the map during your 100 matches, awards and kills. If you want this done quickly then use the AA guns on Par for the Course, Conquest game mode. More then enough trees and AA guns to get this done quickly. Otherwise use a light tank and speed through the forests on that map. You will get:

Forest Ranger

For getting to Rank 25 you will gain another 3 achievements, these like a number of achievements will come naturally during the process of getting all awards and 10,002 kills. If you want to speed up the process use weapons that give trophies like the M16A2 and the SVU, aim to get as many trophies a match and support your teammates. Destroy objectives, drop ammo, drop health kits, assist kills, assist driver in kills, get kills, defend objectives and just about everything else will net you points. You will need 37,000 points to get the final rank in this game which is General of the Army.

To do the next two we will need some friends in a squad and for the game to keep the squad together. So for these four players is best, just load up the Multiplayer Menu hoping it will connect to EA servers -> Custom Multiplayer Match -> Press cn_X to Invite a Friend and invite your squad mates in.

For this other one you will need 20 team-mates to spawn on you in the one life, which can be a pain given that people spawn camp these days. There are 4 main methods to this.

Method 1: Suicide Spawn

Have the person going for the achievement go to an isolated spot on the map away from the action and then have the squad-mates spawn on them. Press cn_start and then select Suicide in the menu Press cn_A. Once everyone is dead repeat, this may take longer due to the random nature of squad spawning.

Method 2: Out of Bounds Spawn

Go to the very edge of the map away from the action and have your squad mates run out of bounds to get this.

Method 3: Get Killed Spawn

This one is obviously the next up on those and should only be used if the other two are not working out for everyone. Find an attic somewhere near the enemy but off to the side and have your squad-mates spawn on you then run into the enemy base to get killed.

Method 4: Kill Boosting

This method is described in detail further on and is the ideal way to do this. You will need 8 players to make two full squads up and make sure everyone has downloaded the Conquest update from the marketplace. Search Conquest and go about the normal setup. As you go for the kills you will have them spawn on you.

Using any of these methods will net you:

So credit to BulgyDragonZord for writing an extremely informative guide that will get you through the remaining multiplayer grind:

The Awards in this game are separated into 3 different categories. Wildcards, Patches and Trophies. To get any of them, you will need to complete a specific requirement in the game and then they will be unlocked. This includes getting a certain amount of kills with a weapon, a vehicle, a squad etc. Performing a manoeuvre with a vehicle such as air time, or sitting in the vehicle for a duration. And there are some, which require you to play certain game modes and maps to unlock them easily.

Trophies: All of the trophies in this game require you to achieve the requirement “In A Round” (the game will shorten this as IAR, and a round is a full game of either Attacking or Defending (or being on a team from a certain country). You cannot get a trophy in this game by using 2 separate rounds, as it’s got to be done in the round. You can unlock an unlimited amount of the same trophy as possible, but you only need 1 Trophy of whatever your going for to count towards the achievement. At times you’ll need multiple of the same trophies in order for you to get certain Patches & Wildcards.

Patches: Most of the Patches in this game require you to get a certain amount of the same trophies, before they can be unlocked. Another method it may ask you to do is get 1 of a certain type of trophy before the Patch could be unlocked. Most of the Patches in this game will come naturally, should you go for some Trophies & Wildcards, but there will be a few in which will not be easy to do, and may require you to perform other strategies to get them.

Wildcards: Wildcards in this game combine a bit of both Trophies & Patches methods. Some Wildcards can be unlocked instantly, whilst others will take some time to unlock. In some cases your better off going for 1 type of Wildcard and 1 type of Patch at the same time, so that you can unlock them faster.

Boosting Method

If your planning on boosting the Awards, then you’ll need to get some players which will be willing to help you (and themselves as well). The best number of players to have for Award Sessions is 8. If you have less than 8, it’ll be difficult to boost since randoms can join in your games and if you have more than 8, then it’ll take longer to boost since everyone will want a turn, and the energy at the top of the screen will drain faster.

Planning Ahead

Before you even decide to boost for Awards, you’ll need to download some extra DLC. First you’ll need to download the Community Map Pack, which gives you access to the extra maps that are in the game, and secondly you’ll need to download the Conquest Game Mode, since you’ll be doing a lot of Conquest Matches to get your chosen Awards.

Both these map packs alone will set you back around 300MB, which isn’t much.

Organizing A Boosting Session

First you’ll need to get 8 players, so I suggest you create a gaming session or search for one on the site. Once you have done that, then whoever is the host needs to decide which two players will form the squads. Once decided the two people need to go into Multiplayer, then Custom Match and then press cn_X for Squad Invite.

Originally you would only be able to invite friends into the squad, however there is a trick you can do in which you can invite anyone. Simply choose anyone on your friend list and give them an invite, you may need to inform them what you are doing. Once that is done open your XBox Live Party or cn_guide and then click and invite the players which are going to be in your squad.

Once both players have their 2 squads with 4 players each, get one of you to search on the chosen map you wish to use for boosting. Ensure before they search that they select the Conquest Game Mode. Once one team is searching for a map, get the other team to follow and let them search as well. Chances are you will both be searching for the same map.

If you get the chosen map you are searching for, then there is a high chance that no one is playing Conquest, which means you have some time to neutralize the flags before randoms join. If you don’t get the chosen map, then there are either randoms already playing the game, a clan is trying to prevent you from boosting, or there are already some boosters boosting on this game.

Once you have neutralised the flags you will see all symbols and flags showing as white, this means that you can then boost the awards. If someone gets kicked this will ruin the squad as that person once rejoined will no longer be a part of that squad, meaning that you will need to reorganize that squad and have them rejoin.

List Of Awards

OK… so here is the main part you want to know about this guide. I have provided a list of all the Awards in the game, a rating between 1 – 10 of how difficult they are, a small guide on how to get them, and my personal tips and suggestions as well…

Wildcards

1 On 1 Air: Destroy an air vehicle of the same kind without any assistance (IAR)

Difficulty: 4/10

Guide: You need to have 2 choppers, which are the same, and kill someone, which is in one of them, with the chopper at full health. This is the hardest among all of the 1-On-1 Awards

Tip: The Russian Choppers are glitchy and don’t give out the Award when you have completed the requirement. It is best to use the American Choppers. You’ll need to get the American team to capture both flags where the Choppers spawn, and get someone to bring over a chopper. The choppers take around 90 seconds to re-spawn. Get the person going for the Award to sit in one, and get an opponent who is dying in the other. The person going for the Award can just press the cn_Y Button to enter the passenger seat and aim the machineguns at the other chopper. You don’t have to fly the choppers for the Award. I recommend going for this Award the same time as Chopper Chopper and Combat Aviator.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line (Dock Area)

1 On 1 Land: Destroy a tank of the same kind without using any assistance (IAR)

Difficulty: 2/10

Guide: You need to destroy another Tank with someone in it in 1 on 1 combat. The tanks need to be at full health without any damage taken from anything else.

Tip: I recommend you do this Award along with Tank Buster & Armor Buster, but it can easily be done before you do anything else, as it’s the easiest among the 1-On-1 Awards.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line, Harvest Day, Par For The Course

1 On 1 Sea: Destroy a sea vehicle of the same kind without any assistance (IAR)

Difficulty: 3/10

Guide: You need to destroy another boat with someone in it in 1 on 1 combat. The boat needs to be at full health without any damage taken from anything else.

Tip: I recommend you do this Award along with the Staying Dry and Naval Surface Warfare Patches. You need to achieve 2 kills in 1-on-1-boat mode for the Bronze, Silver & Gold Naval Surface Patches anyway.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line, Par For The Course

Airtime: 2 seconds airtime with any land vehicle (IAR)

Difficulty: 1/10

Guide: You just need to get a vehicle to fly in the air for more than 2 seconds. Can be done quickly in any buggy or jeep by just finding a hill and racing up and flying off the otherside, this works on all maps.

Tip: This Award will come un-expectedly. Chances are you will be driving vehicles and going over hills and bumps to reach your destination, so don’t set this as a priority.

Recommended Maps: Any

Armor Buster: 25 Total Armored Vehicle Kill & Kill 5 Armor vehicles (IAR)

Difficulty: 7/10

Guide: You need to destroy a total of 25 Armored Vehicles throughout the course of your career. They need to have at least 1 opponent inside for it to be counted. Armored Vehicles are more powerful than standard vehicles, and require more firepower than if you were destroying a non-armored vehicle. The size of the Armored Vehicles are usually bigger.

The 2nd requirement requires you to get 5 Armored Vehicle Kills in a round. This objective cannot be unlocked until you have completed the first requirement.

Tip: Get the person who is going for the Award to bring in an Tank from their base to the opponents base and park it in front of the opponents armoured at the base. If you are playing on the End Of The Line map, I suggest the team that has control of the Dock Area keep their flag active, so that an Armored Tank will respawn on a regular basis. Get one opponent to hop in that Armored Tank when it respawns and allow the person going for the Award to keep on killing them with the tank they brought over. As well as that, the player can destroy someone in the Humvee or any other vehicles around that area. You can work on the Tank Buster Award at the same time using this method. Watch out for randoms though, since the flag hasn’t been neutralized, they can come in unless that flag gets neutralized when they try to connect to the server.

The 2nd requirement will be completed as well as the first one, so once you have achieved 25 Armored Vehicle Kills, the Armor Buster Award should be received.

Recommend Maps: End Of The Line (Dock Area)

Avenger: 50 avenger trophies (Global)

Difficulty: 6/10

Guide: This Award is across all of your games played. You need to get a total of 50 Avengers. An Avenger is when someone on your team is killed, but you kill the opponent who killed them straight after. You can get a handful of these when you play legit in Gold Rush.

Tip: Everyone in the session needs to play a part in order for the person who is going for the Award gets it. However some players can actually work on other things at the same time which will be explained. The organization though for the Award can be very confusing, and tricky.

Have 2 people on different teams who want to go for this Award to stand with their backs against a wall. Get 2 other players, 1 on each team as well to stand in front of them, leaving a little gap. They will be a sponge. Now the remaining 4 players (2 on each team) will be the ones that will be performing a kill, for the player who is back against the one to get an Avenger.

Get the two players on each team, one at a time to run and stand in front of the player who is going for the Avenger. They will now kill the sponge. As soon as they kill the sponge the player who is standing with the back against the wall needs to quickly kill the person who just killed the sponge. If done correctly they will be given an Avenger. Wait for the sponge to respawn and then let the next person go in and take a kill on the sponge. Rinse and repeat this method until the Award is given to the player who has their back against the wall.

The people who are achieving kills can actually work on other Awards as well, such as headshots, weapon kills (not explosives), and also build up kills towards Beans, Bullets & Bandages. The sponge is the only player who will not get anything out of this. So if you are the one doing the killing, choose some Awards that you need to work on to save some time and effort.

Quick Sample Of How The Boosting Method Works

Wall

Avenger Player
(Back Against The Wall)

Player Going For Kill

Sponge (Getting Killed)

Player Going For Kill (Waiting For Player In Middle To Get Killed By Avenger)

You do this method for the same as the other player that wants the Award on the opposite side. So this means you have 1 player going for the Award on the left, and one on the right.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line, Ascension, Acta Non Verba, Oasis

Beat The House: 15 kills with grenades (IAR)

Difficulty: 3/10

Guide: Simply enough, you need to get 15 Grenade Kills In A Round.

Tip: Choose either Assault or Demolition Classes because there is another Award for both those classes that requires you to get 3 Grenade Kills with them.

Have 3 opponents on one team who is helping the person going for the Award to stand against a wall. The player who is going for the Award then throws a Grenade and hope that the explosion kills all of them. Rinse and repeat this method until the Award unlocks. If the player who is going for the Grenade Kills runs out of Grenades, simply get them to walk over the dead bodies to pick up more Grenades. I recommend the players getting kills choose Assault or Demolition classes.

Recommend Maps: Any

Cab Driver: 5 minutes as driver in vehicle with passengers (IAR)

Difficulty: 4/10

Guide: This Award requires you to sit in a vehicle for a total of 5 minutes. It sounds easy to do, but in reality people would want to work on other Awards at the same time, which makes things a bit trickier.

Tip: Either get everyone in agreement that they should do this Award at the same time, and go into vehicles and sit their for the duration. Or get the player who wants this Award to sit in the vehicle whilst another player is working on Vehicle Awards. Remember that you will need to either move around or shoot your vehicle weapon to prevent yourselves from getting kicked from the game.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line, Par For The Course, Ascension, Oasis

Chopper Chopper: 25 Total Helicopter Kills & In a Round: Kill 5 Air Vehicles

Difficulty: 10/10

Guide: This is by far the hardest Award you can get in the Conquest game mode. It will take longer than 25 minutes for 1 person to go for the Award, and only one person can get it at a time. You need to destroy a total of 25 Choppers with someone in them and in a round, get 5 Chopper Kills.

Tip: For a start the Russian Chopper cannot be used because it glitches the Award, so you’ll have to use the American Choppers. You will need the 2 bases, which spawn the choppers, captured under the American Team. You will then need a volunteer to bring over a chopper that’s respawned down to the Docks Area. The player who is going for the Chopper Kills needs to sit in a chopper and go for a kill with the chopper that’s arrived. Once done the player needs to destroy the chopper they just got a kill in the chopper they were in, otherwise the method will take longer to boost. So with this in mind have an opponent to go in the chopper, which the player who is going for the Award just got a kill with. The player going for the Award needs to then destroy that chopper with the opponent in. I recommend using the RPG in the Demolitions class or a Tank… something explosive.

The Choppers will then respawn and then you can rinse and repeat this method. I recommend you work on the Combat Aviator Patches first, before you take this Award on, since if you do Combat Aviator Patches you’ll get part of Chopper Chopper done too.

Everyone must work as a team and keep an eye on the captured flags, because it will only take one random to join and screw everyone over. If a random joins make sure someone from the Russian is around both flags ready to neutralize.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line (Dock Area)

Dead Eye: 100 headshots with any sniper rifle

Difficulty: 4/10

Guide: This is across all your games played. You need to get 100 Kills with any Sniper Rifle.

Tip: You can actually work on this Award the same time as some others. Examples could be whilst someone is working on Avengers, Squad Wild Card, and some normal kills. If you want to just work on this Award when it’s your turn, go back-to-back against the person on the other team who is going for Awards and keep going for headshots. Use the SVU Sniper Rifle since you’ll need 5 kills with that for an Award. This Award is a little time consuming but it can be easily done.

Recommended Maps: Any

Destruction Site: Destroy 1000 objects.

Difficulty: 1/10

Guide: This is across all your games played. You need to destroy a total of 1000 objects. It can be anything except for Walls & Trees, since there are achievements related to those.

Tip: You will get this Award in due course since you will be destroying a lot of items, whilst you are boosting the other Awards. You’ll also work on this if you are playing Gold Rush, so don’t set this Award as priority.

Deuces Are Wild: In a Round: Kill two enemies of each kit.

Recommended Maps: Any

Difficulty: 2/10

Guide: You need to get 10 kills, and 2 of those kills must be each class in the game. Assault, Demolition, Recon, Specialist & Support.

Tip: You can easily do this in a kill session. When it’s your turn to do knife killing, simply ask the opponents if they can change their classes when they get killed twice.

Recommended Maps: Any

Five Of A Kind: Destroy 5 vehicle of the same kind (IAR)

Difficulty: 3/10

Guide: You need to destroy five of the same vehicle in a round. You need to have an opponent in each vehicle for this Award to count.

Tip: Choose a map, which has boats. Even if you neutralize the flags the boats will always respawn, so get the player who is going for the Award to kill an opponent who is in a boat with an RPG. You will get the Three Of A Kind Award at the same time.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line, Par For The Course

Parashooter: 4 roadkills with any air vehicle

Difficulty: 3/10

Guide: One of the funniest Awards you can get in the game. You need to kill 4 opponents with the chopper in drive mode, rather than shooting bullets.

Tip: There is a much easier way to get this Award, and it’s hilarious. Have the person who is going for the Award to hop into a chopper and just sit there for the duration. Get someone to bring over a Humvee or a big vehicle and park it in front of the chopper. Get 3 opponents who are getting killed to jump onto the vehicle, and then jump into the blades of the chopper (since they’ll be spinning). 4 kills and you’ll get the Award. The player who is going for the Award must not exit the vehicle until they achieve the Award. You can also get someone on the same team to work on Cab Driver.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line

Full Deck: 52 total kills (IAR)

Difficulty: 1/10

Guide: Explains itself, you just need to get 52 Kills in a round.

Tip: You will get this in a kill session, because when it’s your turn, you will end up having 100 – 150 Kills at the end of the round.

Gunslinger: 80 kills with handgun (Global)

Difficulty: 4/10

Guide: This is across all your games played. You need to get 80 Kills with a Pistol. The Recon is the only class in the game that contains a Pistol.

Recommended Maps: Any

Headshots: 20 Kills from headshots (IAR)

Difficulty: 4/10

Guide: You need to get 20 headshot kills in a round. You can do this with any weapon.

Tip: I recommend you work on this Award whilst you are doing Dead Eye (100 kills with Sniper Rifle). Read that award for more information.

Santa’s Little Helper: 10 kill assist points (IAR)

Difficulty: 6/10

Guide: This Award is a little confusing because of the description. A Kill Assist is when you weaken an opponent, and someone else on your team finishes them off. You need to do 10 of these in total in a round for the Award to unlock.

Tip: You need a partner and an opponent to get this Award. Don’t get everyone involved because it’ll be too much hassle. Have the player who is going for the Award to be Recon class, and the using the pistol, they shoot the opponent until their health is below 50%. As soon as they’re below 50, the partner then kills the opponent. This should award the player going for the Award a Kill Assist. Rinse and repeat 9 more times. I recommend the player who is finishing off the opponent to either stab the opponent with a knife, blast them with a shotgun, or run them over with a vehicle. It has to be done fast.

It is a high possibility that this Award can be done whilst you are working on Saviours or Avengers.

Saviour: 50 saviour trophies (Global)

Difficulty: 6/10

Guide: A Saviour is when you kill an opponent who is attempting to kill someone else on your team. In order to get the Award, the player who is getting attacked must have their health below 50%, before the player who is going for the Award rescues them. The Award is across all your games played, but the boosting method is similar towards the Avenger Award.

Tip: Everyone in the session needs to play a part in order for the person who is going for the Award gets it. The organization though for this Award can be very confusing, and tricky.

Have 2 people on different teams who want to go for this Award to stand with their backs against a wall. They need to be Recon class. Get 2 other players, 1 on each team as well to stand in front of them, leaving a little gap. They need to be Assault Class since they will be a sponge. Now the remaining 4 players (2 on each team) will be the ones, which will be weakening the sponge for the player who is back against the one to get a Saviour. The 4 players need to be Recon.

Get the four players on each team, one at a time for each side to run and stand in front of the player who is going for the Saviour. Using the Pistol in the Recon class, they must shoot the sponge until their health is below 50%. It takes around 3 shots for their health to be below 50%. As soon as the sponge health is below 50%, the player who is standing with the back against the wall needs to quickly kill the person who is weakening the sponge. If done correctly they will be given a Saviour. The sponge needs to then replenish his health, which is done by using the Syringe in the Assault Class. In the meantime the 2nd player on each team can run in and stand in the middle, ready to perform the kill. Wait for the sponge to get their health back to 100%, and then let the next person weaken the sponge. Rinse and repeat this method until the Award is given to the player who has their back against the wall.

The player who is working on Saviours can actually work on the Squad Medication Patches as well, by selecting Support instead of Recon and throw Med-Kits to the sponge, since they are getting weak.
However there is a glitch in the game in which if the player who is going for the Saviour Wildcard is Recon, they only need 3 Saviour Kills to get a trophy instead of 5. If you choose any other classes, you would have to get 5 Saviour Kills to get a Saviour Trophy.

You do this method for the same as the other player that wants the Award on the opposite side. So this means you have 1 player going for the Award on the left, and one on the right.

Snake Eyes: Get 11 kills as 2 different classes (IAR)

Difficulty: 1/10

Guide: You need to get 11 Kills as 2 different classes in a round. This means you need 22 kills in total.

Tip: You can easily do this in a kill session. When it’s your turn to do the kills, as soon as you get 11 kills with the class your playing, simply press the cn_B Button to pick-up an opponents kit and you’ll change into a different class. Get 11 kills with that class and you’ll get the Award.

Squad Avenger Card: 100 avenger kills revenging squad members (Global)

Difficulty: 6/10

Guide: You need to get 100 Avenger Kills whilst you are in a squad. This Award can only be achieved if you are in a squad, and it’s across all your games played.

Tip: Read my tip for the Avenger Wildcard on how to get this one. Since you are already in a squad when you are boosting, you would have already progressed towards this one when you get the Avenger Wildcard. So once you have the Avenger Wildcard, keep on doing Avenger Kills until you get this Award.

Recommended Maps: Read Avenger Wildcard

Squad Wild Card: 1 Squad Member Trophy + 10 kills per squad member.

Difficulty: 8/10

Guide: You need to be in a squad for this Award, otherwise you cannot get it. Everyone on your team needs to get a Squad Member Award and achieve 10 kills each. Once done everyone in that squad will get this Award.

Tip: You can get a Squad Member Award by doing Saviours or Avengers. You need to do around 5 kills of one of each, or combined (3 Saviours, 2 Avengers etc). Read the descriptions under those Awards on how to boost them if you need more information. Everyone on your team needs to do this in the match, so make sure you take turns and swap over once that player has got the Squad Member Trophy.

Once everyone has done that requirement, the team needs to get a total of 10 kills per person. Go ahead and get the kills, but make sure someone is still alive so that everyone can respawn. Make sure you keep count of how many kills you’ve got. The Award will then pop once the final player has got 10 kills. I recommend you let one team work on this Award first, and then let the other team do so afterwards.

Staying Dry: 50 kills with naval vehicles

Difficulty: 5/10

Guide: You need to get 50 kills with the boat, by running the opponents over. Killing them with the boat's guns doesn’t count towards this Award.

Tip: This Award has a glitchy moment in which you need to get the opponents to face the opposite direction of the boat when they get crushed, or it won’t count. The organization can be tricky though, but if you boost this on End Of The Line, there’s plenty of room to do this Award on. And the boats will always respawn even if the flags are neutralized.

Have 2 players, 1 on each team who want to go for this Award to hop into a boat and flip it around so that the boat is facing the cliffs and the roadside. Make sure the boats are parked in a straight line either side of themselves. The 3 remaining players on each team need to swim in the water and place themselves in front of the opponents boat, facing the opposite direction.
Now all the player going for the Award needs to do is just drive forward and then once the opponents are dead, they just need to reserve back to where they were previously. Rinse and repeat until you get the Award. The 3 players will respawn inside the boat so they need to press cn_B to exit and swim to the locations once again.

May I recommend that the players going for this Award also get 2 – 3 kills with the boats weapon as well once they get this Award. By doing this they will get the Naval Surface Warfare Patches at the same time (Bronze, Silver & Gold).

Straight Flush: Destroy 1 vehicle of each kind (IAR)

Difficulty: 3/10

Guide: You need to destroy 1 Boat, 1 Chopper and 1 Land Vehicle (Tank, Car, Humvee etc). They can be destroyed with anything, but an opponent must be in the vehicle for it to count.

Tip: I recommend you use an RPG in the Demolitions Class. Get an opponent to hop into the vehicles and go for the kill. It only takes 1 shot for the RPG to destroy a boat and a chopper.

Strike: In a Round: Kill 5 enemies within 2 seconds.

Difficulty: 9/10

Guide: The funniest Award you can ever go for. You will be laughing and telling stories about this, after you have achieved this Award. You need to kill 5 enemies within 2 seconds. You cannot kill 3 or 4 and then kill the remaining players afterwards, since that wouldn’t count.

Tip: It’s close to impossible to do this Award with 8 players, because you may not have enough bodies to achieve a 5th kill. For the best results in getting this Award. A minimum of 10 players may be required.

You’ll need to have 2 squads with 4 players each and search on Ascension in Conquest. Once the game has been activated, have the remaining 2 players search for Ascension in Conquest. If both players end up on separate teams, everyone can get the Award, but if they end up on one team, the 2 players will have to quit after the team, which has the least amount of players get’s the Strike Award for everyone.

Unless you have more than 10 players, you will be unable to neutralize the flags, because if everyone on the team dies, you’ll have to restart the game up again.

Once everyone is in the map, meet up in the boosting part. Get someone to bring over the Humvee or the car, and park it on the pathway. Have the player who is going for the Award to jump into the vehicle and make them stay there until they get the signal to go.

The 5 opponents, who are getting killed need to go in front of the vehicle, crouch down and face the opposite direction of the vehicle. They must form a line… a single line!
Have a player who is on the same team as the player who is going for the award to stand on the side of the single line, and check and see if all 5 opponents are in position. If so they will give a single to the driver to take them out. The driver who is going for the Award needs to run all 5 opponents over. If done correctly, you will hear a lot of screaming and some bags flying all over the place. Then… they’ll get the Award. Rinse and repeat until everyone on the same team, gets the Award.

Repeat from the start if you need to re-organize the teams so that the other side can get the Strike Award, or if randoms joins the match.

Tank Buster: 25 Total Tank Kills & In a Round: Kill 5 Tanks

Difficulty: 8/10

Guide: You need to destroy a total of 25 Tanks throughout the course of your career. They need to have at least 1 opponent inside for it to be counted. The Tanks you need to destroy are the Giant Armored Tanks, which require more firepower to destroy than any other vehicle in the game.

The 2nd requirement requires you to get 5 Tank Kills in a round. This objective cannot be unlocked until you have completed the first requirement.

Tip: Get the person who is going for the Award to bring in an Armored Tank from their base to the opponents base and park it in front of the opponents armoured base. If you are playing on the End Of The Line map, I suggest the team that has control of the Dock Area keeps their flag active, so that an Armored Tank will respawn on a regular basis. Get one opponent to hop in that Armored Tank when it respawns and allow the person going for the Award to keep on killing them with the tank they brought over. You can work on the Armor Buster Award at the same time using this method. Watch out for randoms though, since the flag hasn’t been neutralized, they can come in unless that flag gets neutralized when they try to connect to the server.

The 2nd requirement will be completed as well as the first one, so once you have achieved 25 Total Tank Kills, the Tank Buster Award should be received.

Three Of A Kind: Destroy 3 vehicle of the same kind (IAR)

Difficulty: 3/10

Top Squad Wild Card: Get 10 squad member bonus points (IAR) & Become the best squad on each map.

Difficulty: 9/10

Guide: This Award requires you to be in the best squad on all of the maps, and get 10 squad member bonus points.

Tip: This Award can only be done in Gold Rush Mode! It cannot be done in Conquest!

You need to be in the best squad on every single map in the Gold Rush Game Mode. There are 8 maps…

Harvest Day
Over & Out
End Of The Line
Ascension
Valley Run
Deconstruction
Oasis
Final Ignition

The Award is glitchy, because it will turn the black bar into white, if you have managed to become the best squad on one or two of the maps, so unless you write down which maps you have become best in the squad, you will not know which ones you have done.

To become the best squad on the map, you and your squad need to have the most points among everyone on the map… cumulative.
The way it works is that each time you get a kill, an objective or something similar, you are awarded points. The points are placed on the scoreboard, and will place you in a position on the chart. You and your squad need to have the most points in total as a team, in order for you to become the best squad on that map.
The problem with the game is that unless you join a squad in the main menu, before playing Gold Rush, you could be randomly placed in a different squad without notice, if random players leave and enter the match. You are always in a squad in Gold Rush, regardless if you have created it or just joined a match legit.

So here is an example of being in the Best Squad and not…

Not In The Best Squad

Team 1

Player 1 – 300 Points (Different Squad)
Player 2 – 250 Points (Different Squad)
Player 3 - 220 Points (Same Squad As You)
You – 200 Points (In A Squad)
Player 4 – 100 Points (Different Squad)
Player 5 – 90 Points (Same Squad As You)
Player 6 – 60 Points
Player 7 – 20 Points

Team 2 (Opponents)

Player 1 – 450 Points
Player 2 – 300 Points
Player 3 – 200 Points
Player 4 – 180 Points
Player 5 – 140 Points
Player 6 – 80 Points
Player 7 – 40 Points
Player 8 – 10 Points

Firstly, the reason why you’re not in the best squad is because you and your team don’t make the biggest amount of points among everyone in the match. You and your squad have a total of 510 Points. The players who are also in a squad on your team make a total of 650 Points. You are short by 140.

Secondly the opponents can also be the best squad as well, because you don’t know if any of them are in a squad. For a start if the Top 2 players are in a squad, they have a total of 750 Points alone.

Best Squad

Team 1

Player 1 – 400 Points (Same Squad As You)
You – 300 Points (In A Squad)
Player 2 – 250 Points (Different Squad)
Player 3 - 250 Points (Same Squad As You)
Player 4 – 200 Points (Same Squad As You)
Player 5 – 120 Points (Different Squad)
Player 6 – 80 Points (Different Squad)
Player 7 – 50 Points

Team 2 (Opponents)

Player 1 – 200 Points
Player 2 – 150 Points
Player 3 – 120 Points
Player 4 – 110 Points
Player 5 – 80 Points
Player 6 – 50 Points
Player 7 – 20 Points
Player 8 – 10 Points

Despite that you are in 2nd place on your team, you would be the best in the squad, because the person who is in first place is in the same squad as you, and all of you would make a total of 1150 Points, which cannot be beaten. Even if the opponents were in a squad of 4, their score cannot match the same as your team.

How Can I Easily Get Points?

If you’re attacking, then going for kills and the crates will be your best solution. Blowing up crates gives you 30 Points, and if you’re a jogger, then you may give the opponents a surprise since they won’t have a great deal of time to disarm the crates.

If your defending, then the best thing to do is guard a crate and prevent anyone attempting to arm it. You can always travel around the area and get kills here and there. By getting kills near a crate, you’ll also earn Defence Bonus Points as well.

Also if you surprisingly get Awards during Gold Rush as well, they give you an extra boost in points as well. A friend of mine unlocked 3 Patches (Bronze, Silver & Gold) and his score went up by 400. He couldn’t be beaten.

My Tips

The best way to get this Award is have some friends, which are willing to help you, and squad up so that you don’t lose your squads when randoms join or leave the games.

Remember to write down what maps you have won the “Best Squad Award” on. To know for sure, when the match finishes, press the cn_RB Button to scroll the after-math page to see what Awards you’ve unlocked in the “My Awards” section.

Lastly, the winning team receives additional points for winning the match as well.

Two Pair: Get 2 of any 2 trophies (IAR)

Difficulty: 1/10

Guide: You need to get 2x of 2 different trophies in a round. This means you would need 4 trophies, 2 of the same.

Tip: You’ll get this easily in a kill session or whilst you’re boosting other Awards, so don’t set this as a priority.

Patches

Each Patch in the game has three in each category. Bronze, Silver & Gold. Most of the time you will unlock all three at once, however there are some, which have exceptions since they have to be unlocked separately.

Bronze, Silver & Gold Artillery Patches: 1 kill with artillery (IAR) & 7 big guns trophies

Difficulty: 8/10

Guide: You need 35 Kills with the Artillery in total to get all 3 Artillery Patches. You will also need 1 Artillery Kill in a round. This Patch is across all your games played.

Tip: On End Of The Line, neutralize the flags and then meet up in the centre of the map where there should be some buildings and a flag on the top left side with a vehicle. This is where 3 opponents need to stand around, and wait to be killed. The 4th opponent needs to back away and stand somewhere, where they won’t get killed. The player who is going for the Award needs to head south onto a lonesome island, where they’ll be some boats, a barn and the Artillery gun. The other 3 players who are on the same team as the person going for the Award cannot do anything in the match, so they need to keep on moving around to prevent themselves from being kicked.
The player who is in the Artillery needs to aim at the house area where the 3 opponents are and fire away. The Artillery should hit the opponents, but if it’s totally inaccurate (which it can be), then wait for it to reload and try again. Wait for the opponents to respawn under the 4th player, and rinse and repeat until the Patches are unlocked.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line

Bronze, Silver & Gold Assault Patches: In a Round: 2 Kills as Assault. Assault Rifle Efficiency Trophy, Grenadier Efficiency Trophy, Grenade Launcher Efficiency Trophy & Melee Combat Trophy

Difficulty: 4/10

Guide: For the 3 Patches, you just need to unlock all of the trophies listed above, and get 2 kills as each class (which will come naturally) whilst you work on the trophies. As soon as you get the last trophy required, the patches should unlock.

Tip: Read the information for each trophy on how to get them in order to help you get these Patches.

Bronze, Silver & Gold Attack Patches: 6 objective destroyer trophies & 6 objective attack trophies

Difficulty: 10/10

Guide: The objectives for these Awards are the crates, which are in the Gold Rush game mode. As such it means that you can only unlock these patches in Gold Rush. You need to get 6x Objective Destroyer Trophies and 6x Objective Attack Trophies.

Tip: By far, these patches are the hardest to get among all of them, since Gold Rush is the only game mode you can get them on. To get an Objective Destroyer Trophy, you need to destroy 3 Gold Crates in 1 Round. For the Objective Attack Trophy, you need to destroy the last objective in the round. Both of these require you to be on the Attacking team in Gold Rush, you cannot do this on the Defending side.

Surprisingly enough, the easiest between the 2 is actually getting the Objective Destroyer Trophies (3 crates in a round). The reason is because on some maps, it is possible you can get 6 or even more crates in the round, if you are the jogger and keep on arming and charging towards the crates.
The Objective Attack Trophy is very unforgiving. Your main problem is that everyone will charge and go for the last crate, since they would likely want it as well as you. Don’t be at all surprised if there are team kills here and there. As well as that, the opponents on the other side will do what they can to protect their last crate. If your teams energy is depleted, the Defenders will win the match and no one will get the last crate. Some maps are easier to get the last crate than others, because of the map size, but don’t be at all surprised if the crate you arm is also not yours, because team members can steal your crate by blowing it up with explosives or weapons!

Your best bet in getting these Patches is to form up a squad with friends that are willing to help you, and work as a team if you are on the Attacking Side. Try and get some of you to go in groups of 2 and jog to the crates and arm them. If more than one of you needs the Objective Attack Trophy, it is wise that whoever’s the closest to it, is the one who arms it. There’s no point in having one player who needs it to stand next to it, and wait for their partner to arrive because if they get killed, another random can arm it and the crate is lost (unless it gets dis-armed), or if someone tries to blow it.

I strongly recommend if you’re attacking to choose the Specialist class. The Specialist has Grenades as soon as you press cn_LB, and they also have C4, both of which can be used to place damage on the crates, should you be in a desperate situation to claim the crate as yours. They’re also good joggers, because they have a high-powered sub-machinegun which is useful for getting quick kills, and running… especially the UZI.

What is a Jogger?

A Jogger is someone who avoids pretty much everyone in battle, and sprints straight for the crates, arms them and then runs to the next crate in an attempt to arm them. Obviously you kill anyone who is nearby or in the way if you got to, but even if your jogging, snipers can sometimes have difficulty in picking on you, since your jogging.

The trick with this method is whilst the crates are armed, the defenders will have to defuse them, but you can however stand in position, ready for the next area to be opened. As soon as both crates blow up, you can perform a head start and jog to the next 2 crates on the map. Unless the defenders get killed and quickly respawn at their new base, they will still be at their old base, giving you a 1 – 2 minute headstart in jogging and arming the next set of crates. Using this trick, I’ve managed to get around 3 – 6 crates in one round alone. You just have to hope for the best when you get to the last ones.

Bronze, Silver & Gold Avenger Patches: In a Round: 10 Avenger Points & x7 Avenger Trophy

Difficulty: 6/10

Guide: Avenger Points are awarded when you get Avenger kills.

Tip: Read the boosting method for the Avenger Wildcards, since you will unlock these Awards along with them at the same time.

Bronze, Silver & Gold Combat Aviator Patches: In a Round: Kill 2 Helicopters in a Helicopter & x7 Combat Aviator Trophy

Difficulty: 8/10

Guide: You need to get 35 Kills in total with the Choppers. 2 of those kills need to be done on an opponent who is in another chopper, in order for these patches to be unlocked. The rest of them can be done with opponents on foot.

Tip: For a start, the Russian Chopper cannot be used because it glitches the Award, so you’ll have to use the American Choppers. Once done, the player can kill the remaining opponents that are at the same base area as the chopper in order to build up the kills towards the Awards. I recommend you use the passenger seat of the chopper in order to get the kills. This is done by pressing the cn_Y Button.

The Chopper at the other base will then respawn, so rinse and repeat a 2nd time with the person who is bringing over the chopper, and have them killed again.

Now let the person who is going for the Award to continue going for standard kills with the Turrets on the chopper until they get 35 Kills.

I recommend you work on the Chopper Chopper Award along the way, as you’ll get part of that Award done along with these patches.

Everyone must work as a team and keep an eye on the captured flags, because it will only take one random to join and screw everyone over. If a random joins make sure someone from the Russian is around both flags ready to neutralize.

Bronze, Silver & Gold Defend Patches: In a Round: 3 Kills as a Defender & x10 Objective Defender Trophy

Difficulty: 4/10

Guide: These patches require you to earn points by defending a certain item in the game. The patches can be earned by either defending flags in Conquest, or defending the crates in Gold Rush. You need 18 points in total for one Objective Defender Trophy to be unlocked.

Tip: I recommend you do this Award in Gold Rush, because it’ll give you a reason to play as a Defender, and it’ll give you more points which’ll go towards the Top Squad Wild Card.

Play as Demolition and choose the NS2000 Shotgun. The gun is glitched, but in a good way. It acts the same as a sniper rifle so you can achieve a kill on an opponent who is far away from your defending position. Find a crate and hang around for any opponents who are nearby. As soon as you see one, blast them! If the NS2000 is not your cup of tea, I used the USAS12 Shotgun which is Automatic… but it needs a reload after 10 shots fired.

Bronze, Silver & Gold Demolition Patches: In a Round: 2 Kills as Demolition, Rocket Launcher Efficiency Trophy, Shotgun Efficieny Trophy, Frag Out Efficiency Trophy, Mine Placement Efficiency Trophy, Avenger Trophy

Bronze, Silver & Gold Emplacement Patches: In a Round: Kill 3 Vehicles and 3 Soldiers with Stationary Guns & x7 Emplacement Trophy

Difficulty: 7/10

Guide: The Emplacement Gun is a weapon that is attached to a stand. They are usually found in bases where you first spawn on the map. You have machinegun emplacements, and rocket emplacements. Both can be used to get these patches. You need 35 Kills with the Emplacement Gun for the 3 patches, 3 of which need to be opponents in a vehicle.

Tip: If you all meet at the Dock Area on End Of The Line, there is a Rocket Emplacement Gun near the flag. Have the person who wants the Award to arm the Emplacement Gun. If the flag is neutralized, they will capture it because they will be close to the flag. To avoid this flag being captured, have one member on the opposite team to stand nearby him, contesting the flag.
Meanwhile have the remaining 3 opponents run to the red crates, which are nearby the big building, and let them stand in front of the crates. The player who is going for the Award can then blast the Emplacement Gun and get kills. Ensure along the way that the player who is going for Awards gets vehicle kills with the Emplacement Gun as well. There should be plenty of vehicles to do this, since your in a pretty good area. The remaining members on the team which the player is getting the awards on won’t be able to do anything throughout the duration, so they’ll just have to keep on moving, to prevent getting kicked.

Bronze, Silver & Gold Naval Surface Warfare Patches: In a Round: Destroy 2 Naval Vehicles with a boat & x7 Naval Warfare Trophy

Difficulty: 5/10

Guide: You will need to get 35 Kills with the Boat in order to get this Award. 2 of those kills must be with the weapon in order for the patches to be unlocked.

Tip: Read my tips for the Staying Dry Wildcard. You need 50 kills by running them over with the boat, so the only thing you need to do to get these patches is get 2 kills with the weapon on the boat. That’s it!

Bronze, Silver & Gold Specialist Patches: In a Round: 2 Kills as Specialist, Compact Assault Rifle Efficiency Trophy, Target Tagging Efficiency Trophy, Demo Pack Efficiency Trophy, UMP Trophy & Explosive Efficiency Trophy

Difficulty: 4/10

Guide: For the 3 Patches, you just need to unlock all of the trophies listed above, and get 2 kills as each class (which will come naturally) whilst you work on the trophies. As soon as you get the last trophy required, the patches should unlock.

Bronze, Silver & Gold Squad Patches: In a Round: 10 Squad Points, x6 Squad Member Trophy & x6 Squad Medication Trophy

Difficulty: 6/10

Guide: You need to be Support class in order for you to achieve these patches. They are simply earned by throwing Med-Kits to players, which have taken a lot of damage, and need reviving.

Tip: You can attempt to get these Awards the same time as doing the Saviours. If you are the person who has their back against the wall, instead of choosing Recon you can be a Support and throw the Med-Kits at the sponge each time they take damage and you get the Saviour Kill on the opponent that’s shooting them. Read the information regarding the Saviour Wildcard for more help.

Alternatively you can always have 1 opponent weakening one person on your team, and then you throw the med-kits at them to replenish their health back to 100%.

Difficulty: 7/10

Guide: You need to get 35 Kills whilst you are in a Tank. 2 of them must be kills with an opponent inside another tank.

Tip: Get the person who is going for the Award to bring in an Armored Tank from their base to the opponents base and park it in front of the opponents armored base. If you are playing on the End Of The Line map, I suggest the team, which has control of the Dock Area keeps their flag active, so that an Armored Tank will respawn on a regular basis. Get one opponent to hop in that Armored Tank when it respawns and allow the person going for the Award to keep on killing them with the tank they brought over. After the player gets 2 Tank Kills with the tank, they can just simply use the machineguns, or the rockets on the Tank to kill opponents, which are on foot. It is possible to work on the Tank Buster, Armor Buster & the Transport Vehicle Patches at the same time.

Recommended Maps: End Of The Line (Dock Area)

Bronze, Silver & Gold Transport Vehicle Patches: In a Round: 2 Road Kills & x7 Transport Vehicle Trophy

Difficulty: 3/10

Guide: You need to get 35 Kills using a Transport Vehicle. This includes cars, small sized vehicles and light tanks. You will also need to get 2 Road Kills in order for the patches to be unlocked.

Tip: You can get 1 person on each team go for these patches at the same time. The players who are going for the award just need to hop into a car each, and take it to a location where the opponents will be respawning all the time.

When everyone arrives, have all 3 opponents lined up in front of the vehicle. Firstly, perform a road kill by knocking all 3 over. Rinse and repeat a couple more times to get the trophies. Once that’s done you can either continue running them over, or you can just simply press the cn_YButton to switch over to the machinegun, and kill the opponents which are standing in front of you, since the machinegun will count towards the award.

Guide: This trophy is mis-leading. The Air Defence Weapons are different towards the Emplacement Guns, and appear in multiple areas, rather than just a base.

Tip: The gun takes ages to kill an opponent on foot, but not if they’re in a vehicle.
