Why do people commit to doing a guide, but then they don't do it? I'm sure it deters others who may have been interested in creating one.

It is a recurring issues with the walkthroughs on this site. People make a lot of progress, then fizzle out to nothing. I'm not the overseer on this walkthrough, so I don't have the up-to-the-second update. I'll throw this back to the team, see who's working on it and if we can't get the ball rolling again.
