Chapter 6

Rosy bushes bloom in light

  • 9 candles to find

Start by walking straight up the vine and at the top is candle 1. You will see above you a number of yellow flowers, if you flash your light these will expand. Head upwards along 3 flowers periodically lighting your candle, then jump over to the yellow flower above you. Now jump over alternating yellow and red flowers until you get to 4 red flowers veering off to the left. Jump along these 4 red flowers to find candle 2.

Now go back along the 4 red flowers until you get to the yellow flower. From this flower jump up through the alternating red and yellow flowers and onto the green platform.

Head up along the vine and follow it around to find candle 3 and then follow it round further to find candle 4. Jump down from candle 4 to light the checkpoint. You will observe that the checkpoint is on a green plant that is divided into 8 segments, if you walk to the end of a segment and light the candle the leaf will extend making a platform for you. These types of plants can only have 1 platform extended at any one time.

So from the checkpoint head to 3 o'clock and extend yourself a platform, now jump onto the adjacent red flower. From here you need to jump diagonally down and right over 4 red flowers to find candle 5.

Return to the red flower just before the checkpoint and make your way right by jumping up on the vine. Continue right until you come to the large yellow flower, jump onto this and then onto the next 2 yellow flowers. As you stand on the last flower go to the 12 o'clock position and flash your candle to extend a platform from the green plant above you.

Once on the green plant, stand at 7 o'clock and extend a platform. Move to the end of the platform and jump up the for red flowers to find candle 6, head back to the green plant. Move to 12 o'clock and light up to extend a platform to the above yellow flower and candle 7.

Heading back to the green plant, stand at 1 o'clock and flash your candle. Walk to the edge of the platform and flash again to build a bridge to the next green plant, jump over to it.

Once on the next green platform, stand again at 1 o'clock and extend a platform. Walk to the end and light up to expand the yellow flower above you, jump across to locate candle 8.

Jump right onto the leaf and walk diagonally down and right to the end, jump the small gap to the next leaf. Keep walking diagonally down and right and flash your candle to find a red flower holding candle 9.

Make your way back across the leaves and to the end of the level.

Fallen fruits clear the ends

At the very start, above you you will see a rolling spiky plant moving left to right. Firstly jump up to the platform above you, then when you see the spiky plant appear from the left flash your candle to make the two yellow flowers expand. This action makes a bridge and destroys the spiky flowers for you.

As soon as the spiky plant has rolled onto the 1st yellow flower, jump upwards and move up to candle 1 above you. Now either wait for the flowers to shrink and once one of the spiky balls have rolled past it is time to move, or alternatively jump onto the extended flowers and walk along the very top of them as the spiky balls should roll pass you. Whichever option you choose you need to quickly run across the two flowers and jump to the platform, you might need to flash your candle quickly if you let the flowers shrink as the gap is quite precarious.

So on this next platform, you have to move right and then upwards. The difficulty is there are 2 spiky flowers waiting for you. If you flash your candle quickly you will see them. Wait for them to deflate and then move between them, head upwards as candle 2 is a short distance above them. You will need to jump over a small vine to get to the candle though.

Edge close to the right of the platform and flash your candle to make the green plant extend a platform to you, now walk to the 12 o'clock position of this green plant and extend a platform upwards, don't go this way yet. Walk down to the 6 o'clock position and jump up to the yellow flower below you. Walk diagonally down and right to the next green plant and light candle 3.

Now go to the 5 o'clock position and extend a platform to reach candle 4, once lit head back to the green plant.

On this green plant stand at the 9 o'clock position and flash your candle, this should hopefully make the adjacent green plant to your left extend a platform from its 3 o'clock position. This is important as it builds a bridge for an upcoming part.

Now looking to the yellow flower below you, jump on this and be careful for rolling spiky balls. On the 1st flower jump diagonally down and to the left to find the checkpoint and by lighting this it should expand the 2 yellow flowers. Jump up onto the 2nd flower and stand at the far left of it.

Once a spiky ball starts rolling, follow this along the plants and it will clear the way for you to progress. As you get to the now cleared platform, look in the top right corner for candle 5. Head left to find the exit of the level.

By ember's light, the groves revive

  • 8 candles to find

You start off in darkness on a blue flower, flash your candle quickly then move to the 11 o'clock position. Wait until the left flower is within jumping distance and jump across. Stand again on the 11 o'clock position and aim for the vine with the glowing starfish. Jump onto the vine and move to the right to find candle 1 at the top.

Look below you for a blue flower, when it's underneath you drop down and then move to the 12 o'clock position to navigate upwards. Above you, you will see a jellyfish platform with candle 2 swirling clockwise in a large circle. Once this jellyfish is in range jump across and light the candle, stay in the middle of the jellyfish or you'll get hit by the spiky flowers.

As the jellyfish swirls around eventually it will get to the 2 o'clock position, as it does light up as this will make a green plant extend its platform and then jump up. In the middle of this platform is candle 3. Move to the 12 o'clock position on the green plant and extend the platform, now jump upwards and across 11 flowers to reach the checkpoint.

Above the checkpoint are 4 red flowers and a 1 yellow flower, jump over these and right onto a large flower with candle 4. Return to the checkpoint and jump right onto the vine. As you reach the top of the upward slope on the vine, just below you is candle 5.

Continue following the vine around and eventually you will come to candle 6. Again continue following the vine upwards and as you reach the top is candle 7. Moving diagonally up and left jump over to the adjacent vine and move to the upper right side. Flash your candle to extend a yellow flower and jump on it. You will see 4 red candles to your right, hop over these and on the last one is candle 8.

Get back to yellow flower and then jump up over the next 3 yellow flowers to end the level.
