Clash - Walkthrough overviewUpdate notes

Let me start by saying that this might just be the easiest game completion on the Xbox One, however it does require 4 controllers to finish, but can be completely finished by yourself in less than an hour. Without 4 controllers, this game is an easy 885 Gamerscore, but the 2 achievement that require 4 controllers take about 90 seconds to complete. If you don't have 4 controllers available, try finding someone who you can borrow controllers from and you'll be able to return them almost instantaneously. If you can't find anyone to borrow some from, you'll have to buy some more to get the full completion.

As for achievements, this game really only has 6 kinds of achievements, the last 2 being standalone.

Hide ads

- Win x matches

- Cash in x crystals

- Kill x players

- Hit a certain button while in a certain place

- Play a game with 4 players

- Jump 500 times

In order to get the game completed as quickly and efficiently as possible, we'll be unlocking the achievement for winning 50 games last, grinding the remaining required kills for the 250 kills achievement in the 50th game. We'll be grinding every achievement other than the 50 wins, before the 250 kills, as most other achievement will work towards the 250 kills, but the 250 kills wont work towards the other achievements.

This is the order in which the achievements will be unlocked:

Jumper

You're a really good jumper!

Jumper

I can't really place this achievement in a certain spot. It'll just unlock whenever, depending on how often you jump.

Clash - General hints and tips

There's not really much I can say in terms of tips and hints. Really all I can do is show off the controls for those who don't know them and say (and this will be brought up later on) that just like Pac-man, walking off screen on one side of the map, will teleport you to the other side of the map for quicker transportation from one side of the map to the other. This works vertically as well by jumping into holes in the ground, you will teleport to the ceiling. This will be used to alter spawning later on. The game will try to spawn enemies on the opposite side of the map, so if you kill one, teleport to the other side, they will spawn right where you were just standing, then you can walk right off screen again and teleport straight back to the enemy and kill them again. This is how you will grind the 250 kills. As for controls...

cn_LSc - Move

cn_RT/cn_RB - Dash/Attack

cn_A - Jump

cn_Y - Taunt

cn_LT/cn_LB/cn_X - Shield

And that's all the controls. Pretty straight forward.

Clash - Story walkthrough

When you first load the game, you will be in the main menu, this is where the first achievement will be unlocked. Simply click cn_B four times on the main controller, to add moustaches to each of the four characters on screen. Very simple 10G.

Moustache Party

Party like it's the 2000's!

Moustache Party

From here, press cn_start which will take you to the Choose Character screen. At the Choose Character screen, hit cn_A on your four controllers, and select a different character for each controller. Once each character has been selected, press cn_start to advance to the next screen. You will now be at the Gametype Selection screen. Scroll over until you see Island of Spirits, and select that map. Once the game loads, hit cn_A on each controller to make the game start. Now, you're going to want to bring each player up onto the house on the center platform. Keep in mind that jumping off the bottom of the map will teleport you to the top, so you may have to do that to get some characters onto the house. Stand all four players on the house and you're going to hit the cn_X button on all four controllers at once. Doing so will make it rain lobsters, and will net you a quick 100G.

Drejehummer

Let it rain!

Drejehummer

Now, you're going to want to win this game on your main controller (your account). Simply run around the map, killing each of your other three players and pick up the crystals that fly out of them. TRY YOUR BEST TO NOT ENTER THE GLOWING SPHERE. Often, the crystals can get a lot of air so be ready to do some running around to pick them up. You're going to want to have 10 crystals on your person at once. Once that happens, you're going to want to enter the big glowing sphere, located somewhere around the map (it changes position on occasion). Enter the sphere to end the game and unlock you two achievements.

Once the Final Score screen appears, hit cn_X to play that same gametype again. Just like last game, you're going to want to cash in 10 crystal at the same time, then do that AGAIN for a third game. This will unlock you two achievements.

Winner!

You've won 3 matches!

Winner!
Crystal Snack

The hunger is setting in...

Crystal Snack

You're going to win 2 more games like this, by cashing in 10 crystals at once, so just keep replaying the same match until you unlock, yet again, two more achievements.

Crystaline Greed

There just can't be enough crystals.

Seasoned

You're getting better

After that, win 3 more games on this same gametype, by doing the exact same thing. That'll get you the last Crystal Hunt achievement, and after the game ends, you can return to the menu by hitting cn_B. Finishing this game will unlock you the achievement.

Crystal King

You are swimming in crystals

Crystal King

You will now be back at the main menu. Make your way through the menus back to the Gametype Select screen (make sure you still have all four characters signed in) and select Kibo's Throne. Load the game and ready all four players. Once the game has started, you're going to want to bring all four players to the bottom left of the map, and position them underneath the floating broken staircase on the left. Now, this is possible with only two controllers, but it's known to be very buggy. It's much more consistent with four controllers. Once all four players are under the staircase, press cn_Y on every controller at once to summon a giant fish bowl, unlocking you 100G.

Golden Fish

Golden fish' can bounce

Golden Fish

Now, kill each of the players. They're close together so there is no reason to not make a bit of progress towards the kill grinds. From there, hit cn_start and back out of the game. You will appear in the main menu again. Hit cn_start, go to Options, Game Options, Score to Win and change Deathmatch to 1. Back out of the options and advance to the Choose Character screen. Now, you're only going to want to use two characters, so you can turn off two of your controllers. Once you're in the Gametype Selection screen, select Necropolis. This is where the grinding begins. Once the game is loaded and each has player has pressed cn_A, you're going to kill your second controller with your main account. This map is very easy to navigate as there is a hole on the left, right, top and bottom of the map so it's really easy to get from your spawn to the enemy. Kill the player, and when the game ends, hit cn_X to play it again. Ready the players and when the game starts, kill him again. That should be your 10th win.

Owner!

You've won 10 matches!

Owner!

Now, simply play the map over and over again, killing the player and restarting the match. After 15 games (assuming, you didn't kill any extra players (which sounds like a lot, but each game is like 5-10 seconds), you will unlock an achievement.

Brutalizer

You've proven your worth. You are a true hero

Brutalizer

You should now be a mere 25 games away from the 50 wins you need. Just keep doing what you've been doing, over and over. It should only take a few minutes to get to the 50th game. Once the achievement unlocks, as opposed to pressing cn_X to play again, back out to the main menu by pressing cn_B. We're done with Deathmatch.

PWNER!

You've won 50 matches!

PWNER!

You know the routine, traverse your way through the menus until you're back at the Gametype Selection screen. Yet again, select Kibo's Throne as your map and load it up with the two players. From here, bring the second player up to the platform on the top left of the map, and bring your main account down to the sand at the bottom right of the map. From here, you're going to want to run off screen (to the right) which will teleport you up to where the enemy is. Kill him (you should dash from a bit of a distance as to avoid flying off the platform), then quickly dash back to the left, so you teleport back down to where you were before, at the bottom right of the map. This will cause the second player to spawn at the same platform. Run off screen, kill him, run back, repeat. You're going to need to do this a total of 125 times (assuming you didn't get any extra kills along the way). This grind is a bit annoying, as it takes about 3 seconds per kill. After doing this for about 6 minutes though, the achievement should unlock.

Godlike

You have ascended to almost godlike powers

Godlike

Now, as for the Jumper achievement, you have most likely unlocked this achievement as of now. I'd be impressed if you didn't. However, if you indeed haven't unlocked it. Simply stand in place and jump up and down until it unlocks. In total, you need to jump 500 times, which should not take long at all. To speed up the process, stand under once of the staircases where you were earlier while trying to summon the fish bowl. You will bump your head on the staircase and therefore, not jump as high as normal, making your jumps shorter. After jump #500, you will unlock your last achievement and the game is done for.

Jumper

You're a really good jumper!

Jumper

Congratulations on the completion. Like I said, this might just be the easiest completion on the Xbox One and I think you can agree with me on that after having just done it. Good luck with whatever game you take on next. Keep on keeping on! :)
