Hello and welcome to the TrueAchievements walkthrough for Cubot: The Complexity of Simplicity. Cubot is a three-dimensional puzzler where you move blocks around various mind-benders in an attempt to get the cubes to their same-colored destination squares. The game starts extremely simply, but as more colors of cube variations, more map mechanics, and more advanced puzzles are introduced, you might find yourself boxed-in and looking for a way out. If that's the case, you're in the right place! This walkthrough will give you the solutions to every puzzle in one handy page.
It's actually possible to 1k this game without ever even looking at the screen, simply moving the left thumbstick in correspondence with the moves on the walkthrough page, and clicking 
to advance to the next level when you hear the 'level-complete' chime. That being said, if you've spent the money on the game, this will allow you to get all of the achievements without actually 'seeing' the solution, meaning you can revisit it at a later date if you feel like doing some puzzles stress-free via level select.
The hints and tips page will have a basic breakdown of the game's mechanics, for those that are interested, or you can skip straight to the story walkthrough page for all of the solutions.
There are five types of cubes in the game, all with their own movement rules: blue, red, green, purple, and orange. There are special squares on the map as the game progresses, introduced one at a time in order for you to learn the mechanics. There are "switch" squares, which will raise/lower their corresponding target square. There are color change blocks, which quite obviously change the color of any cube that touches them to the color of the block. There are two-way teleporters, and more. Also, some of these items are black (neutral), while others are colored (only usable by cubes of that color).
The main thing to keep in mind while playing this game is how each cube moves. The blue cube moves ONE square in whichever direction the left thumbstick is flicked. The red cube moves TWO squares each time the left thumbstick moves. The green cube is the blue cube's mirror image, meaning it moves ONE square each time the left thumbstick moves, but in the OPPOSITE direction. So if you press up, the green cube moves down. If you press left, it moves right. The purple cube is the mirror image of the red cube, meaning it moves TWO squares, but once again in the opposite direction from what the left thumbstick is pressed. Finally, the orange cube is a special little guy. It does not move at all unless it is touching another cube, at which point it takes on the qualities of that cube in a sense, moving however that cube moves (or you can just think of it as being attached to that cube until it is pushed off by a wall or other obstacle blocking it).
Also, remember that all cubes move at the same time each time the left thumbstick moves, unless they are blocked by a wall. This is one of the key mechanics in solving the game's puzzles. This means you can, in fact, create situations where you're stuck and unable to complete a puzzle no matter what you do. This will force you to pause and restart that puzzle. Lastly, you earn Cubots for finishing puzzles. Spending 8 Cubots will show you the solution to your current level, allowing you a cheat sheet to get past any serious roadblocks. Puzzles seven and eight in the latter areas are prime candidates for this if you're not following a guide. The story walkthrough page will look sparse, but it is simply the shortest-path solution to each puzzle, courtesy of our lovely solution writer here on TA (and the game's cheat sheet mode, of course). Without further ado...
As stated on the previous page, feel free to play through the game attempting to solve puzzles on your own. Each stage has eight puzzles, and they are numbered here so you can skip directly to the one you're struggling with if you wish. Rather than use TA's built-in controller icons, I'll be using the same abbreviations as the solutions by Call Me Mingoes here on TA, with one slight change. Anytime a movement is repeated MORE than three times in a row, I'll just put it once with a x4, x5, or x6 beside it. Replacing the two-time ones with a x2 makes it too cluttered. It might help to change the three-repeat ones to x3 though, so if you feel that it would be better to use x3 as well since it happens so often, please send me a PM. While I do credit him for these button command lists, it is notable that they can easily be obtained by "purchasing" the solution for any given puzzle. Each time you finish a puzzle, you earn 'Cubots'. Using eight of these will show you the perfect path to solving a puzzle.
You can still pause during the playback of the solution, so it would be quite simple to complete this game (although a tad longer) simply by earning Cubots, viewing the solutions, and writing them down for use on a repeated play. It might stretch it out to a 90-minute completion, rather than a 45min to 1hr completion. At any rate, if you just want to get on with knocking out another 1000, follow the steps below. You don't even need to look at the screen. Just listen for the teleporter sound on stages that have them, so that you aren't skipping over button presses while the teleport animation is taking place.
