The Grind to 1000 Miles
This is it, the final hurdle. We now have to drive a total of 1000 miles (note: the achievement description still reads 10,000, but the requirements were updated on November 20th 2020).
By the end of the career, you will probably be at around 50% of your distance.
The following is a guide from HomelyBumRocket which is the quickest way to grind the achievement whilst semi-idling.
You will need a play-and-charge kit (or a USB cable) and some tape for this to work.
First, load up Playgrounds, and click Discover, now hit 
to Search.
Search for True Achievements 10k 2 and enter the event once found.
From here you simply need to drive off the platform and keep the right trigger held down. I would suggest tape and the USB cable to stop your controller from turning off.
Each session lasts 60 minutes and you just need to drive straight until the timer expires (the walls will keep you in the right direction). Each session is 7% of your total, and you will need to manually start it again after each hour.
After finishing the playground for the first time, be sure to Pin it to your favourites using 
and then make sure you exit the playground itself and do not click restart as this can cause your progress to not save.
You can now go back to Playgrounds, click to get to your Pinned playgrounds and enter the event again.
Simply rinse and repeat this track until the final achievement pops:
