In a tweet, Doom Eternal developer, id Sofware, revealed that the game is going to be pushed back until March next year. Doom Eternal was initially supposed to launch on November 22 this year.

Battlemode will be the game's primary multiplayer mode and there won't be a "traditional multiplayer mode". This is because the mode has been developed internally to be everything players want DOOM to be all about.

is Software yesterday announced during Bethesda's E3 press conference that the upcoming DOOM Eternal will release on the Xbox One this coming November. Pre-order the game from the Xbox store today.

Unlike some of their biggest competitors, it looks like Bethesda are going to have a physical presence at this year's E3. The only game mentioned in the release is DOOM Eternal, but the company promise "much much more".
