Alright. Before we get started, you will want to enter this code in at the main menu: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right. This unlocks the hardest difficulty right off the bat. Let's get started.
First and foremost: If you want your 60 Gamerscore now, then from the main menu go to "Credits" and watch the credits for
Hide and Sake
Start the game on Maximun Hazard difficulty. (It's not too hard, I promise) Once you are in control you will unlock:
Hit Start to earn:
Pause the game for the first time.
Continue with the game, completing the tutorial to get:
Concentrate on staying alive through the a whole level. This isn't hard at all and as soon as you're done you will unlock the following achievement:
---NOTE The achievement "Second Amendment" requires you to get a kill with every weapon in the game. I will periodically outline them so you don't miss any. Chances are you will get this without trying but it is better to be safe than sorry. The weapons are:
.45 Caliber Pistol (this is your starting weapon), 9mm Pistol, AK-47, Energy Pistol, Hazard Pistol (another starting weapon), Magnum, Plasma Rifle, Shotgun, Six-Shooter, SMG, Sniper Rifle (not the roof mounted ones), Water Pistol, and Water SMG.---
Melee the first enemy you see to unlock:
Continue on and as long as you melee the next 4 people without dying you will get:
Defeat five enemies in a row using melee combat.
Pick up the 9mm Pistol when it gets dropped. After that, keep going through the level. Don't forget to pick up the SMG as soon as someone drops it, using it as much as you can. Kill 25 enemies using blind fire while in cover, just aim the crosshair at them and press RT. Try shooting at their heads as much as possible. Once you finish off 25 people you will unlock
Once you leave the second kitchen area, head left and enter the bathroom. The Magnum is in one of the stalls, replace your pistol with it.
Keep going forward and depending on how well you did getting headshot kills using blind fire you should unlock this before the first boss:
Once you reach Sonny Tang you will be required to press a series of buttons to defeat him. Complete the sequence and earn:
After you defeat him keep moving forward, getting as many headshots as you can. Before the next boss you should get:
After meeting Sting Sniperscope for the first time you will again be prompted to complete a button pushing sequence. Complete level 1 by knocking him out, earning:
Defeat Sting Sniperscope. "Your present ends now."
Start off by killing the first wave of enemies that come at you, with headshots of course. Pick up the SMG as soon as you get the chance and use that from now on. Once they are all dead look around the room. You should see about 10-15 (Not sure off the top of my head) potted plants. Shoot the plants until the leaves fall off (Not the entire set of leaves, you will know when the leaves are semi-off. That means you broke it.) Keep doing that and die to re-spawn (Damn those load times, dying bypasses them) until you get:
After it unlocks, keep killing everyone in the first room with headshots and shooting the fire extinguishers in the next until you get:
Ok, enough with the grinding for now. When it unlocks, headshot everyone in the first room one last time. If you didn't get it the first 20 times, you will get:
Kill all butcher shop enemies with headshots. "You're not PAYING for ammo. Feel free to use more."
When you reach the freezer, keep shooting everyone in the head. By now you should have unlocked:
and possibly, if you used the SMG enough:
Even though there aren't anymore achievements for headshot kills you should keep using them. It makes this game a lot easier.
Once they are all dead, shoot and destroy every piece of hanging meat to get:
Meat Your Maker
Blast all hanging beef. "Udder destruction? Steaking a claim? Beating your...I can go on all day."
In the next section you will face some Bandits. Sneak up behind one of them and kill him from behind. This will unlock an achievement:
Kill a Bandit from behind with a melee attack. "Good for you. Coward."

Kill them all, picking up the Six-Shooters and the Shotgun. Use them from now on as much as you can.
Eventually you will come to a security room with your first Maximum Hazard pickup. Get the pickup, stay in cover and kill all but one enemy until you get the next two:
Get 50 Dual-Wield Six-Shooter kills. "Now all we need is the spaghetti..."
Kill 50 enemies with the shotgun.
Once the shooting achievements are out of the way just focus on getting the Hazard pickup and running towards the enemies, melee killing them until there is just one left so he can kill you. Honestly, I never needed to use one of these so I feel this is quicker. 10 kills later you will get:
When you do, just keep getting the pickup and dying. Repeat this process until you get:
Replace the Shotgun with the Hazard Pistol and continue. When you get to the Casino, kill the enemies and then destroy 20 slot machines, unlocking:
Destroy 20 destructible cover objects.
Keep moving forward. When you first encounter Rebel enemies pick up the AK-47 they drop and use it, keeping the Hazard Pistol. You will eventually come to an area with some dancing robot ladies. Do whatever you can to kill every enemy as fast as possible. You can't let ANY robots get destroyed or you will have to load your last checkpoint and retry. It's not that hard as long as you stay in cover and try to stick with quick headshots. Once you clear the 3 areas with robots you will unlock:
Dances with Guns
Don't let any dance bots die in Level 2. "Do dancing robots dream of disco sheep?"
Continue through the rest of the level, using the AK-47 as much as possible. After you meet Kitty she will fight along side you until she exits the level. You earn the Ice Power upgrade after this. Eventually you will come to your third boss, General Neutronov. For me, this was one of the hardest bosses in the game because so many enemies kept spawning and there wasn't many good places to hide. I will try to make this as easy as possible.
This fight is all about speed. Take too long and the Rebels will eventually get the best of you. For the first part, immediately kill the Rebels that appear in front of you. Quickly run forward, killing any enemies as fast as possible while trying to stay in cover if you can. Move forward again as soon as you can, quickly disposing of any enemies you come across while at the same time stocking up on ammo, and start firing at Neutronov with your AK-47. Try to keep in cover because Rebels will constantly spawn where you came from. After shooting him for a bit he will eventually go down and fight two will start.
Continue moving forward. This next section is easier than the previous one. There are 3 buttons you need to push, each opening a gas tank under the General. Push one button at a time, quickly destroying each gas tank. You need to be very quick and careful because Rebels will spawn behind you. Once the last tank is destroyed it's time for the final fight.
Once again, run forward while stocking up on ammo if it's not too far out of the way. Start shooting Neutronov as soon as you can because you only have a limited amount of time. It can be tricky because he loves to hide but if you are quick he won't stand a chance. When he is down for good quickly run across the bridge towards the bomb. Press the button next to it and this annoying fight is finally over! Enjoy the achievement, you've earned it.
By the end of this level you should have also unlocked:
Kill 50 enemies with the Hazard pistol.
If not, it should unlock in the next level.
Snipers, and Choppers, and Wizards... Oh my!
This level has quite a few annoying parts but it should be much easier when following this guide. Take control of the Sniper Rifle and begin the first one...
Ok, you need to kill waves of enemies quickly or Bill the Wizard will die before you get to the end. There's a score tracker that lets you know how many enemies you have killed and how many are left. You need to kill 20 here. As long as you zoom out to see where they are coming from, or where Bill is firing at, then quickly dispose of them it should only take you a couple of tries to pass it. Watch out for the guy with the SMG to the left of Bill and then the Shotgun guy to his right.
During this section, you might want to restart a few times for
If not, just continue on with the level as usual.
Carefully make your way to the next mounted Sniper. Stay alert, some of the enemies can really catch you off guard. Along the way there will be a Sniper Rifle behind some crates on your left. Kill an enemy and get rid of it, it's not that great of a weapon.
At the second area with Bill you will need to kill about 20 more enemies. By now, you should have the hang of things, quickly take them out and move on. Make sure to take full advantage of the propane tanks scattered about. After that, prepare to meet your newest enemy, the Soak 'Em Commando. These guys are very vulnerable to their own weapons so make sure to have one on you at all times.
Pick up the Water Pistol and Water SMG as soon as you get the chance. Get a kill with the Water SMG and replace it with the AK-47 (if you still had it). Continue on until you reach the final Sniper section. After you eliminate the first wave of enemies you will have to kill a couple of Commandos that appear behind you. Quickly get back to the Sniper and finish off the rest of the enemies attacking Bill. 3 annoying parts down, many more to go...
When you are done you will have to run from cover to cover, avoiding Sting's Sniper Shot or you will be toast. Keep moving forward, killing anyone that gets in your way, until you reach the next section with Sting.
This part is a pain. You need to get as far as you can and then take out the 2 enemies in the next building, all while avoiding Sting. When they are dead, move while in cover to get Sting to fire. As soon as he does, RUN as fast as you can and hide on the right side of the entrance. There are two more sections like this but they aren't nearly as hard as the last. Just make to sure to always use cover and watch out for enemies at all times. On the bottom floor of the warehouse you will need to avoid Sting once again. Repeat the "Stay in cover while killing any enemies that appear" process until you reach the area with the helicopter.
You should only move when the helicopter just about stops firing, which is only for a few seconds. Move forward, quickly killing any enemies until you reach the office entrance. As soon as the helicopter stops shooting run for it and take cover to the right. When it stops again, quickly run around the desk and take cover. Run for the exit when you get the chance to pass this part. For the rest of the level just take your time, kill everyone as soon as possible and CAREFULLY time your moves so you don't end up as Swiss cheese. Once you reach the end Bill will destroy the helicopter and you will get the Fire Power upgrade.
Carefully move on, killing and hiding from Sting until he is in front of you. You will need to move forward from cover to cover while taking out enemies as they appear, all while avoiding Sting's Sniper Shot. When you kill the last enemy you will trigger the fight with him. Complete the button pushing sequence to defeat him, ending this long and super annoying level, and unlock "Deja-Vu". By now you should have also unlocked "Russian Attack". If not, it should pop sometime in the next level.
Defeat Sting Sniperscope again in Level 3. "Your present ends now. Again."
Backdoor Assault at the Big House (Trust me, it's not what you're thinking)
The first half of this level is pretty easy. Grab the Magnum behind you (save it for later) and get going. Replace the Hazard Pistol with the AK-47 when it gets dropped. When you get to the tennis court you will encounter you first set of Zombies. This is also a good oportunity to get the 2 headshots with 1 bullet. Zombies are rather slow and it is easy to line them up for a clean shot. This can be done in every level, but this is one of the best opportunities
Take out the Rebels then shoot each Zombie in the head once with the Magnum to kill it. From this point for the rest of the game make sure you watch the blue energy orb that fallen enemies drop. If it doesn't come to you right away that means a Zombie will spawn instead. It can be a real pain getting snuck up on and killed when you think everyone is dead.
Continue on, using the Magnum on any Zombies you come across. Once you run out of ammo try to replace it with the AK-47, if you don't already have it, or a SMG. Eventually you run into Dexter and have to fight his Darlings. Quickly shoot both of them until they lean over then kill each one with a melee hit. Grab their Dual SMGs and when you find Dexter again you will have to complete a button pushing sequence to defeat him.
Move on, killing a few enemies until you meet Dexter for a second time. Complete another button pushing sequence and once he is beaten it's time to backtrack to the beginning of the level. This is where things get tricky. Also, save your Ice upgrade for the poolhouse. It will make it so much easier.
Back at the garden area you will face Rebels, Darlings and Bandits. What I did was go down the stairs, making the Rebels spawn. Kill them and continue on until the Darlings and Bandits appeared. Run back up the stairs and quickly hide behind the wall, taking out the Bandits first and then focusing on the Darlings. It may take you a couple of tries but you will get it.
Make your way to the other Darling and then to the stairs. Commandos will spawn down by the pool house so take them out from above. Once inside quickly take cover behind a pillar. Use you Ice upgrade, if you didn't waste it already, and quickly take out the Darlings, guards and Zombies as they appear.
Head outside, watching out for more enemies, and go towards the tennis court. There are 3 Darlings here so make sure to stay in cover and take them out one by one. After the last one is dead run back the way you came and take cover because a wave of Commandos appears. Finish them off and make your way down the stairs to your first Shield pickup. Pick it up and run forward, giving you an idea of what to expect, than let yourself get killed. Repeat this 19 more times and you will unlock "Shield Master".
Grab the Grenade Launcher and the pickup then shoot the enemies coming up the stairs. Stand close to one and take damage while killing the enemy (you have to take some damage!) to unlock an achievement
Quickly take cover on the bottom left of the stairs and take out everybody from there, saving the Darlings for last. By this time you should have unlocked "Death Hazard". If not there will be PLENTY more Zombies throughout the game. Use the Ice upgrade if you have it and get rid of the Darlings to finish the level and unlock "Housing Crisis" as well.
Score 20 single-shot Zombie kills. "Don't these things usually hang out in shopping malls?"
Escape from Dexter's mansion. "I gotta get me a house like THAT!"
Same Ship, Different Bay
This level is one of the easier ones and it introduces you to the Space Marine. They are more immune to regular gun fire, so use their weapons against them at all times.
Start out by taking cover and eliminating all enemies. Look out for Zombies that appear from dead bodies. Continue on past the area with the submarine, taking out any enemies along the way. You will eventually meet the Master Chef who then places some cover for you. Make your way closer to the Marines, picking up the Energy Pistol and Plasma Rifle they drop. As soon as you get a kill with each you will unlock:
Now kill with either with the Energy Pistol or Plasma Rifle some enemies but keep one alive so he can kill you, rinse and repeat until you unlock the achievements. There is also a better space a little bit further on, but this is the earliest opportunity.
Get 50 Energy Pistol kills. "Blaster? I hardly know 'er!"
Move on, killing any Marines/Zombies you run into, eventually making your way outside. Grab the Shield pickup and quickly melee the Marines before taking cover to shoot the rest. Continue forward, watching out for enemies and make your way back inside.
Stay in cover while taking out any Marines/Zombies then press on, repeating the process for the next few areas. Once outside, clear the way and go up the stairs to trigger the boss fight.
Tentacle Beast of Tramm
I've heard of a lop of people having trouble with this but I found it to be very easy. Quickly run underneath where the first tentacle hits the ship after it lifts back up of course. As soon as another one smashes down, shoot the orange part until you kill it. Run to where you were just shooting and work on the next. Repeat this process for the rest, killing any Marines that appear. Make sure to grab their Energy Pistol and also the SMG to make the next part much easier. On to phase two.
Thankfully the game gives you a checkpoint, after all that hard work. Run to the back of the ship and then take cover behind a cannon on either side. Shoot the tentacle opposite you a couple of times with your Energy Pistol. It will disappear and then come back with a mine. Make sure to blast it with your SMG and it shouldn't take more than a few seconds to destroy it. Some Marines will then spawn. Quickly kill them with the Energy Pistol, making sure you try to be as accurate as possible. You should use your Upgrades as much as possible on them to make things even easier. As soon as they are dead, run out and get ammo for both your weapons. Go back to where you killed the first tentacle and kill the one by where you just were. Finish off the 2 on the middle, stocking up on ammo as needed. When the fourth is finished kill the Marines and run to the other end of the ship and take out the last 2 the same way you have been. Now it is time for Phase 3, which is beyond easy.
Ok, just shoot the tentacle until it's dead. It will come back to life so kill it again. After that just kill the other 2, finishing the level and unlocking:
Defeat the Tentacle Beast of Tramm. "One-two shot right to the tentacles."
Another fairly simple level. Carefully make your way inside, staying in cover as often as possible. When you reach the Commandos, grab the Shield pickup and melee as many as you can. Move on when they are all dead, making sure to grab a Water Pistol, and clear out the next room with Commandos as well.
Once they are all dead keep going forward and you will eventually encounter some Rebels. They will all turn into Zombies so stay alert.
In the next area, grab the Shield pickup and make quick work of the enemies with melee attacks. Talk with Captain Carpenter then backtrack a bit and head downstairs. Continue on until you reach an elevator, disposing of any enemies along the way.
Leave the elevator and keep killing until you head downstairs to meet the Wafferthinn Soldiers. They can turn sideways to avoid bullets so be careful. Grab the Shield pickup under the stairs to make killing the Commandos and Wafferthinns easier. Move forward, taking out anyone who gets in your way, until you can go through the hole appears in the wall.
Kill all the Marines that appear here and pick up the Energy Pistol and SMG. Go through the door to start the boss fight.
Run behind the stairs on your left, go around them and take cover behind a barrier. Shoot at him with everything you have, hiding behind the stairs when he's just about to fire his meteors. If he tries to regain some health just shoot the green orbs before they reach him. Once he's defeated its on to his final stage.
Start out by hiding behind a barrier by where you started. Shoot him with the SMG while he throws his sword. When he calls it back, get the ammo behind you, run towards him and shoot him with everything you have until the meteors start spinning. When they do run to the left where you hid before, picking up the AK-47 along the way. When he's stopped, move slightly to the left to get behind the barrier and keep shooting him. Destroy the green orbs before they reach him and if you ignore most of the Marines this should be over before you know it. Defeating him unlocks:
Defeat Altos Tratus. "Forecast for the next level: no more clouds."
Now you will unlock after some cutscene the following achievement for the non-existent interrogation scene:
"What do you mean the interrogation feature was cut?!? Here...just take the achievement."
A Dock of Ships, Now
Well, I wanted to tear my hair out because of this level. Alright, this is the last one, so push forward and you can show that damned boss who's boss!
Well, first off, there are some bad guys ahead and a hazard upgrade. Destroy all the explosives and get killed after that. Rinse and repeat until the following achievement unlocks:
Blow up 50 explosive objects.
Now kill all the enemies and continue along the path and kill everything in your way. You will enter a small warehouse and the same rule as above applies here as well. Follow the path outside, enter the ship and continue. Through the warehouse (2D graphics and 2D enemies) and enter the train yard (careful of the enemies on the railings). Boss battle time and again sting!
Sting Sniperscope (again)
First, kill all the peons off and reach Sting's position. Now, evade his shots by hiding behind crates and obstacles (careful, they disappear after a successful hit), and shoot the 3 explosive boxes (2 on the tower with sting and 1 on the power barrier). After the cutscene, shoot open the doors to the 3 satellite arrays and lure him to shoot the laser on them to destroy them while standing inside. In between you will have to kill the waves of enemies he will spawn. Beating him will end the level and unlock the following achievement:
Taking Revenge to a whole new level
Time to get your sweet revenge! As soon as you get a grenade launcher keep it until the end of the level! this is important, so make sure to have one all the time with a lot of ammo. Now get up and fight your way through the enemies (take cover from the helicopter). After the elevator sections, you will face new enemies (avatars). They come in different colours, each colour representing a different skill level. Run trough the level until you finally reach the boss battle.
Now this is a multistage battle- First, kill the minions and activate the first switch while dodging his shots (careful they do a lot of damage). More minions to take care off and after that you will have to activate the 2nd switch, but before that, you will face pink programmers
The pink enemies are testers and the reason why you brought the grenade launcher is this part! Try to cluster 3 enemies together and kill all 3 of them in one explosion (they ALL have to die with the explosion, doesn't mater if they took beforehand some damage).
Observe the Grenade
Kill three Testers with one grenade launcher shot. "Test the grenades: check!"
Now after pushing the 2nd button, you will have finished the game and beat Welsely therefore unlocking the following achievement
During the cutscene there will be a frightening revelation!
You beat the game on the highest difficulty, congrats, this earns you 3 achievements
Complete the game on the Minor Hazard difficulty setting.
Complete the game on the Major Hazard difficulty setting.
Complete the game on the Maximum Hazard difficulty setting.
Well, there is no multiplayer, but the game is just fair and gives you the achievement:
"What? No multiplayer? Sigh. Well...not like we can take the achievement back NOW...."
