4. Evolve Elite AchievementsUpdate notes

Now comes the "I-would-not-be-doing-this-if-it-was-not-an-achievement" achievements.

I will only be explaining how to get two achievements here, but a handful will be earned along the way. 5 of these are "win 25 matches in x gamemode"

These should be earned as you are getting elite and should be completed long before you finish.

I don't recommend these game mode down below (with a few exceptions), so feel free to fit them in when you feel certain stars will be easy to obtain in one of these game modes. I would recommend doing these with your first stars as the other ones are easier in Arena.

The perks Cooldown Reduction (Monster) and Reload Speed (Hunters) make your abilities appear more frequently. I recommend using these perks.

Monster

You will want to do this in a custom Arena game with the Extras:

  • Difficulty - Favors Monster
  • Wildlife Population - High
  • Character Perks - On
  • Battle Wins Required - 3
  • Battle Duration - Infinite
  • Monster Starting Armor - 100%
  • Monster Starting Stage - 3
  • Sudden Death - Off

Goliath

Star 1

  • Rock Throw - 11,500 damage
  • Leap Smash - 12,000 damage
  • Fire Breath - 12,000 damage
  • Charge - 8,000 damage

Deal damage to anything. Since it doesn't specify Hunters, any damage handed out will work. Make sure to pick Maggie as the Trapper, since Daisy will allow you to output more damage.

Star 2

  • Rock Throw - Damage multiple targets, 20 times
  • Leap Smash - Damage multiple targets, 29 times
  • Fire Breath - Damage multiple targets, 110 times
  • Charge - Damage multiple targets, 28 times

Again, this does not specify Hunters, so make sure to damage 2 of anything.

Damaging shielded enemies does count towards objectives. Running away usually causes them to go towards you in a cluttered group. Picking Maggie as the Trapper here is a huge help, as Daisy usually stays close to other Hunters and doesn't fight back allowing for multiple target hits more frequently.

Star 3

  • Rock Throw - Hit mid-air Hunters, 45 times
    • Wait for a Hunter to jetpack boost and try to hit them with the splash damage from the exploding rock. They usually do this when trying to get away. Don't worry, it is easier than it sounds!
  • Leap Smash - Hit Hunters from at least 20 meters, 50 times
    • You can leap away with cn_A and then turn around to try and Leap Smash a far target.
  • Fire Breath - 8,500 damage to mid-air Hunters
    • Same strategy as Rock Throw, but a bit easier as you can cover a good area.
  • Charge - Damage multiple Hunters, 53 times
    • Pick Maggie and find an opportunity.

Once you get all three stars for Goliath you will earn

Kraken

Star 1

  • Lightning Strike - 20,000 damage
  • Banshee Mines - 20,000 damage
  • Aftershock - 14,500 damage
  • Vortex - 23,000 damage

Same idea as Golaith's 1st stars.

Star 2

  • Lightning Strike - Damage multiple targets, 40 times
  • Banshee Mines - 60,000 damage to Hunters
  • Aftershock - Damage multiple targets, 26 times
  • Vortex - Damage multiple Hunters, 75 times

Same idea as Golaith's 2nd stars.

Star 3

  • Lightning Strike - Damage multiple Hunters, 34 times
  • Banshee Mines - Damage multiple Hunters, 60 times
  • Aftershock - Damage multiple Hunters, 38 times
  • Vortex - Knock back 275 mid-air Hunters

Same idea as Golaith's 2nd stars. For Vortex wait for a Hunter to jetpack up. Since the number for Vortex is high, you may want to focus on it first and foremost.

Wraith

Star 1

  • Warp Blast - 14,000 damage
  • Abduction - Abduct 16 targets
  • Decoy - 12,000 damage with Decoy
  • Supernova - 34,500 damage while using Supernova

Same idea as Goliath's 1st stars.

Star 2

  • Warp Blast - Damage multiple targets, 57 times
  • Abduction - Abduct 20 mid-air Hunters
  • Decoy - 32,000 damage to Hunters with Decoy
  • Supernova - 121,000 damage to Hunters while using Supernova

Same idea as Golaith's 2nd stars, but do realize that Decoy and Supernova need to be done on Hunters. For abduction, wait for a Hunter to jetpack up (they usually do this to run away from you or climb ledges) and abduct them.

Star 3

  • Warp Blast - Damage multiple Hunters, 15 times
    • Pick Maggie and try to cluster them. It is pretty easy to damage multiple Hunter with this.
  • Abduction - Abduct Hunters from a team, 83 times
    • Abduct Hunters that are close to a teammate.
  • Decoy - Stealth pounce while invisible, 30 times
    • Get away from the Hunters and use Decoy. Try to get close to a Hunter, then press cn_B and cn_RT to pounce on them.
  • Supernova - Deal damage with abilities while using Supernova, 70 times
    • Have Supernova active while using the other abilities.

Upon getting Wraith's final star you will earn

Assault

Set up a custom Arena game with Extras:

  • Difficulty - Favors Hunters
  • Wildlife Population - High
  • Strikes - Infinite
  • Character Perks - On
  • Battle Wins Required - 3
  • Battle Duration - Infinite
  • Monster Starting Armor - 100%
  • Monster Starting Level - 3
    • These 2 give an advantage to the Monster, but allow it to soak up more damage too.
  • Sudden Death - On

Markov

Star 1

  • Lightning Gun - 24,000 damage
  • Assault Rifle - 4,000 damage
  • Arc Mines - 8,000 damage

Just damage anything.

Star 2

  • Lightning Gun - 52,000 damage to Monster
  • Assault Rifle - 16,000 damage to Monster
  • Arc Mines - 27,000 damage to Monster

Damage the monster.

Star 3

  • Lightning Gun - 12,500 chained damage
    • This required 2 or more enemies. Defend offers 2 minions that usually stay close together.
  • Assault Rifle - 9,000 headshot damage to Monster
    • Kraken seems to have the biggest head, so he is your best chance.
  • Arc Mines - Damage Monster with 2 mines without taking damage, 30 times
    • Set all 3 mines as close as possible in the path you think the monster will take. Try to lure the monster over to them and once one goes off active your shield and run, placing mines as you go.

Hyde

Star 1

  • Flamethrower - 20,000 damage
  • Minigun - 4,500 damage
  • Toxic Grenades - 11,000 damage

Damage anything.

Star 2

  • Flamethrower - 40,000 damage to Monster
  • Minigun - 14,000 damage to Monster
  • Toxic Grenades - 18,000 damage to Monster

Damage the Monster.

Star 3

  • Flamethrower - 50,000 residual burn damage
    • This does not specify the Monster, so try to burn anything (although most things will die pretty quickly). Defend offers minions to be burned, so try that.
  • Minigun - 3,000 headshot damage to Monster
    • The Kraken seems to have the biggest head, shoot it.
  • Toxic Grenades - 250 damage to Monster with a single grenade, 68 times
    • Before using it, try to back the Monster into a corner or have your Trapper trap the Monster.

Parnell

Star 1

  • Combat Shotgun - 19,000 damage
  • Multifire Rocket Launcher - 26,000 damage
  • Super Soldier - 17,000 damage with Super Soldier active

Try doing the most damage when Super Soldier is active.

Star 2

  • Combat Shotgun - 48,000 damage to Monster
  • Multifire Rocket Launcher - 36,500 damage to Monster
  • Super Soldier - 40,000 damage to Monster with Super Soldier active

Again, Super Soldier is key to doing big damage fast.

Star 3

  • Combat Shotgun - 31,000 headshot damage to Monster
    • The Kraken seems to have the biggest head, shoot it and pair this with Super Soldier.
  • Multifire Rocket Launcher - 470 direct hits to Monster
    • Damage does not matter, but the shoot must hit.
  • Super Soldier - 6,500 headshot damage to Monster with Super Soldier active
    • Pair this with the other two abilites and you will have it in no time.

Medic

Val

Star 1

  • Armor-Piercing Sniper Rifle - Place 12 targets on Monster
  • MedGun - Heal 16,000 damage
  • Tranquilizer Gun - Tranquilize Monster, 14 times

These are simple, use your weapons.

Star 2

  • Armor-Piercing Sniper Rifle - 3,300 damage, dealt by teammates, to Monster through targets
    • This weapon will place target to allow for bonus damage to be dealt. The damage will come from your teammates, so just place targets on the Monster.
  • MedGun - Revive 6 teammates through healing with the MedGun
    • When a teammate is incapacitated, you will be able to heal him back up and "revive" him. Choose another Trapper instead of Maggie, as Daisy will try to revive before you.
  • Tranquilizer Gun - Tranquilize Monster for 400 seconds
    • Tranquilize the Monster until the time adds up.

Star 3

  • Armor-Piercing Sniper Rifle - Place 17 headshot targets on Monster
    • The Kraken has the biggest head, so try aimming for that one.
  • MedGun - Heal 100 points of health (a full bar of health) on a single target, without them getting incapacitated, 28 times
    • The Monster ususally focuses down one Hunter until they get away, so you'll probably have 100 hitpoints by then. Don't be afraid to use your Healing Burst, while it does not count towards the 100, it can help a teammate from being incapacitated which would reset the 100.
  • Tranquilizer Gun - Tranquilize Monster from at least 60 meters, 80 times
    • For this weapon, play on a Defend map. The Monster is easily found and you will have enough distance. Choose the Behemoth as the Monster since he is a big target. You can place a mark on the world by pressing cn_RS which will also tell you how far that point is. Doing this on the Monster will help you see how far he is away from you.

Lazarus

Star 1

  • Silenced Sniper Rifle - Place 200 targets on Monster
    • Spam the targets!
  • Lazarus Device - Use 4 times
  • Personal Cloak - Cloak revive 7 creatures using Lazarus Device
    • Do these both at the same time and only revive with the cloak since you will finish Lazarus Device before Personal Cloak. "Revive" in Lazarus' case can be an actual revive (as that is what the Lazarus Device does) or an incapacitated revive.

Star 2

  • Silenced Sniper Rifle - 270 damage, dealt by teammates, to Monster through targets
    • Just like Val's Armor-Piercing Sniper Rifle, place targets on the Monster and just sit back while your teammates deal damage.
  • Lazarus Device - Use on teammates, 28 times
  • Personal Cloak - Cloak revive 22 teammates using Lazarus Device
    • You will need 8 more revives than cloak revives, so don't be afraid to revive without the cloak a few times.

You will unlock the following achievement while doing so:

Star 3

  • Silenced Sniper Rifle - 150 headshot targets on Monster
    • Use the Kraken to get headshots.
  • Lazarus Device - Use on 3 teammates, 25 times
  • Personal Cloak - Cloak revive 2 teammates in a single match using the Lazarus Device, 12 times
    • Cloak revive as much as possible and, once those are out of the way, feel free to revive how you see fit.

Caria

Star 1

  • Napalm Grenade Launcher - 3,300 damage
  • Healing Grenade Launcher - Heal 32,000 damage
  • Acceleration Field - Cover 2,200 meters with Acceleration Field active

Use weapons as intended. For Acceleration Field, Nest will be useful as you have a clear objective far away.

Star 2

  • Napalm Grenade Launcher - 4,000 damage to Monster
    • Shoot the Monster until you rack up enough damage.
  • Healing Grenade Launcher - Revive 8 teammates
    • "Revive" means incapacitated teammates and not dead ones. Try to revive them as soon as they get incapacitated, as that requires fewer grenades.
  • Acceleration Field - Provide boost to teammates, 74 times
    • Use the Acceleration Field as much as possible.

Star 3

  • Napalm Grenade Launcher - 160 direct hits on Monster
    • Pick an big target to hit, such as Behemoth.
  • Healing Grenade Launcher - Heal multiple teammates, 710 times
    • Spam grenadeds close to the action. These rack up much faster than you would think.
  • Acceleration Field - Cover 50 meters with teammates, 65 times
    • Use Acceleration Field on Nest, as the clear objective will help get those 50 meters.

Trapper

Maggie

Star 1

  • Machine Pistol - 8,000 damage
  • Harpoon Traps - Harpoon Monster, 35 times
  • Pet Trapjaw - Follow Daisy for 2,200 meters

Use the weapons as intended.

Star 2

  • Machine Pistol - 21,000 damage to Monster
    • Shoot it!
  • Harpoon Traps - Harpoon Monster 6 times, in 8 different matches
    • Harpoon the Monster as much as you can. A big target like the Behemoth will help.
  • Pet Trapjaw - Allow Daisy to revive 10 teammates
    • Daisy will automatically go revive incapacitated teammates, so just let your friends die! (wait what?)

Star 3

  • Machine Pistol - 12,000 headshot damage to Monster
    • Get the Kraken and shoot his head.
  • Harpoon Traps - Catch Monster in 2 traps, 50 times
    • Set up three traps away from the Monster and start to attack him
  • Pet Trapjaw - Allow Daisy to revive 2 teammates in a single match, 9 times
    • Let your friends die...again...

Griffin

Star 1

  • Gauss SMG - 10,000 damage
  • Harpoon Gun - Hold Monster for 1 second, 14 times
  • Sound Spikes - Plant 15 spikes at least 50 meters apart

Use weapons as intended. The sound spikes will still work in Arena, but you'll usually only be able to put 2 down.

Star 2

  • Gauss SMG - 14,000 damage to Monster
  • Harpoon Gun - Hold the Monster for 115 seconds
  • Sound Spikes - Reveal Monster, 55 times

Just use your weapons, they will rack up as you go.

Star 3

  • Gauss SMG - 8,000 headshot damage to Monster
    • The Kraken has the biggest head.
  • Harpoon Gun - Harpoon Monster in midair, 66 times
    • The Kraken tends to fly the most.
  • Sound Spikes - Reveal Stage 1 Monster, 20 times
    • A custom Arena game with a level 1 Monster makes for easy reveals.

Abe

Star 1

  • Custom Shotgun - 14,000 Damage
  • Stasis Grenades - Slow Monster 130 times
  • Tracking Dart Pistol - Dart Monster, 15 times

Use the weapons given to you, these will rack up.

Star 2

  • Custom Shotgun - 28,000 Damage to Monster
  • Stasis Grenades - Slow Monster for 800 seconds
  • Tracking Dart Pistol - Dart Monster for 2,200 seconds

Use your weapons!

Star 3

  • Custom Shotgun - 8,700 headshot Damage to Monster
    • Choose the Kraken as the Monster and shoot his face.
  • Stasis Grenades - Slow Monster for 3 seconds, 85 times
    • Throw Stasis Grenades at the Monster and this will come in time.
  • Tracking Dart Pistol - Dart Monster from at least 40 meters, 15 times
    • Pressing cn_RS will show you how far the thing your looking at is. Get far enough and start shooting.

Support

Hank

Star 1

  • Laser Cutter - 6,000 damage
  • Shield Projector - Shield teammates from damage, 14 times
  • Orbital Barrage - 6,600 damage

Use the weapons.

Star 2

  • Laser Cutter - 20,000 damage to Monster
  • Shield Projector - Shield 15,000 damage
  • Orbital Barrage - 21,000 damage to Monster

Similar to the first stars.

Star 3

  • Laser Cutter - 5,000 headshot damage
    • Kraken has the biggest head.
  • Shield Projector - Stop 17 teammates from being incapacitated
    • You must shield 100% of a Hunter's health. This is cumulative until they are incapacitated, in which case, it is reset.
  • Orbital Barrage - Damage Monster from at least 40 meters, 15 times
    • Pressing cn_RS allows you to see the how far away you are from the thing you are looking at. Use this to get far enough away and use the Orbital Barrage.

Bucket

Star 1

  • Guided Missile Launcher - 9,000 damage
  • Sentry Guns - 15,000 damage
  • UAV - Cover 3,000 meters in Hunt/Rescue

Deal damage to anything with the Guided Missile Launcher and Sentry Guns. For UAV, you will need to be in Hunt or Rescue. Just drive the robot around until you cover 3,000 meters.

By completing Bucket's first stars, you will unlock the final character, Cabot and earn

Star 2

  • Guided Missile Launcher - 21,000 damage to Monster
  • Sentry Guns - 20,000 damage to Monster
  • UAV - Find Monster 18 times in Hunt/Rescue

Deal damage with the weapons. For UAV, in Hunt or Rescue, walk around until the Monster reveals it self.

Star 3

  • Guided Missile Launcher - 390 direct hits to Monster
    • A big Monster like Behemoth will make this job easy.
  • Sentry Guns - 3 sentry guns firing simultaneously, 30 times
    • Set up the Sentry Guns behind a corner and lure the Monster to your position.
  • UAV - Find Stage 1 Monsters in Hunt/Rescue, 25 times
    • In Hunt or Rescue, wait until the Monster reveals itself.

Cabot

Star 1

  • Rail Cannon - 12,000 damage
  • Damage Amplifier - Amplify 9,000 damage
  • Dust Tagging - Reveal 70 creatures

Use the weapons as intended.

Star 2

  • Rail Cannon - 34,000 damage to Monster
  • Damage Amplifier - Amplify 24,000 damage to Monster
  • Dust Tagging - Reveal Monster, 44 times

Similar to first stars, but target the Monster instead.

Star 3

  • Rail Cannon - 10,500 headshot damage to Monster
    • The Kraken is the easiest Monster to headshot.
  • Damage Amplifier - Amplify 250 damage in a single user, 40 times
    • When using the Damage Amplifier, try to keep the Monster in your line of sight.
  • Dust Tagging - Reveal Stage 1 Monster, 20 times
    • In custom Arena, set the Monster Starting Level to 1 and use Dust Tagging to reveal him easily.

Once you have Cabot's final star, you will earn

As you were getting Elite status for everyone you should be closing in on level 40 (Personally, I was 36). Make sure that you have obtained all other achievements before going for this one, as going for the others will help you with Apex Predator. Playing Evacuation is the best way to grind since it is like playing 5 Hunt, Rescue, Defend, and Nest matches with bonus experience based on how well you played.

Upon reaching level 50 you will earn
