This section of the walkthrough is dedicated to playthroughs as a counselor.
Once you join your first lobby, you will see 2 squares next to everyones gamertag, these will be the players preference of what counselor they will play as, or what model of Jason they will play as. Selecting the squares across from your gamertag will allow you to set these preferences. Once you choose your preferences, make a note of the counselor you play as, it will be very useful to remember. As you level up, you're able to unlock other counselors, but for now just select one that's available.
The first thing you'll want to handle is the absolute pain of killing Jason in a match. This requires at least 4 players; one playing as Jason, one as a male counselor, one as a female counselor and one to just exist. Pick any of the maps labelled as "Small" for this. Have everyone meet up in an area and start picking up weapons to hit Jason in the face with. Have everyone attack Jason until his mask falls off. Pick up the mask for:
With Jason unmasked, have the female counselor go to Jason's spawning shack (if Jason hits
he can see the shack on his map and help the others coordinate) and pick up the axe. Take Pamela's sweater from the center table for:
Now have everyone find the radio station to call Tommy Jarvis. You can use Jason's map to find the building, it's the one with a radio tower outside of it. Once inside, use the radio to call in Tommy Jarvis. Have Jason kill the 2 counselors without the sweater on, one of who will spawn back as Tommy. Tommy must run around looking for a machete, no other weapon will work for this. Have all the characters meet up, then perform the next steps very quickly. Hit
with the sweater character to stun Jason, then click
to go into combat mode. Hit Jason with the axe in this stance to put him on his knees. When he does, quickly hit the interact button with Tommy to put the machete into Jason for the kill and:
Playing your first game as a counselor will always unlock:
SummercampPlay 1 multiplayer match as a counselor.

The next thing you'll want to work on is escaping as a passenger on both the car and boat 13 times each, since these require 3 people to achieve. You'll want to select a different counselor for every game, picking new ones when you unlock them. Changing this will give you 2/10 progress for the "Superfan" achievement, which asks you to play as all 10 counselor's in the game. Repeating this process, and selecting a new character each time (when available) will grant you this achievement after completion of the 10th character.
These are the characters and when you unlock them:
Vanessa - Starts Unlocked
Chad - Starts Unlocked
Jenny - Starts Unlocked
Kenny - Starts Unlocked
AJ - Level 4
Deborah - Level 6
Brandon - Level 8
Eric - Level 10
Adam - Level 14
Tiffany - Level 18
Doing this will unlock:
Super FanPlay a multiplayer match as each one of the counselors.

Now, you may want to roll for some perks before jumping into the games. There are perks that make police arrive faster, stamina to last longer, and the ability to start with a map. If you can get those it will make life much easier for you.
You'll need 4 players once more for the next achievement once again. Pick a "Small" map, and run around as the counselors until you find the radio station once again. Call in Tommy, then have Jason kill 2 of the counselors. One will randomly respawn back as Tommy Jarvis. If you call in Tommy each time and also spawn as him, after 12 more games you'll unlock:
Now, onto the repairs. Start with the boat, as that one is the worst by far. It's only ever guaranteed to appear on the map "Jarvis House", meaning you'll have a lot of ground to cover each match. There may even be times where you won't be able to find both parts within the same match. You'll need to find a propeller and gas can, both of which can be found in the main houses or surrounding cabins. with gas cans found on the ground and a propeller found on a desk or shelf. You can only carry one part at a time, so be sure to return to the boat to attach it after picking it up. If you're unsure on where the boat is, coordinate with your partners with maps or Jason. Get in the boat as a passenger and have your partner drive you out of the area to escape. When you switch things up and drive your partner out to safety you will unlock:
Repeat this process a total of 12 more times for each of you for:
With the boats done, it's time to focus on car escapes. Pick "Crystal Lake Small" as the map and start searching again. You'll be looking for gas cans and batteries, both of which can be found in cabins on the floor or occasionally on a shelf. You'll also need to find a pair of car keys in a drawer, which will likely take the longest. Take these parts back to the car and let your partner drive you away. Switch things up next time, when you drive away you'll earn:
After repairing the car once, drive away without your partner in the car. This will earn you:
Chad Is A DickEscape in the car or the boat by yourself while another counselor is still alive.

Repeat 12 more times each for both players for:
You no longer need 3 people total, you can do everything from this point with only 2 accounts. The next annoying task you'll have is to tackle the remaining boat repairs. You need 100 total, and each part attached to the boat counts as a repair. Start up a match on Jarvis House while choosing Tiffany as the counselor. As Tiffany run around the map until you find the propeller and gas. Put both in the boat and drive away for:
With that done, choose Deborah from now on. She strikes the perfect balance between speed, stamina, and repair to make things slightly easier. Spend the games searching for a single piece of the boat and repairing it. After the single repair, have Jason use Morph (
+
) to teleport over to you and kill you. Your first death will earn you:
Repeat this process continually until you've placed 100 parts back on the boat, earning you:
You are now finally done with Jarvis House, meaning you can switch to a much smaller map to perform the remaining tasks. I like "Crystal Lake Small" since it has 2 cars, close houses, and lots of opportunity to quickly find multiple car parts. Find 1 or 2 parts (keys don't count!) and repair the car, then have Jason teleport over and kill you. Repeat this process until you've done 100 repairs for:
Odds are you have lots of games to go, so you can tackle these in any order you like really. If you unlock the "My Dad is a Cop" perk you should try to focus on escaping with the police 13 times. Go around a "Small" map searching the drawers for a phone box repair fuse. Collect it and find the phone box on the map, again I suggest coordinating with Jason on this. Repair the box, then go inside the house and call the police with the phone on the wall. A timer will appear on the top-right corner of the screen. Once it counts down the police will appear near one of the exits. Flee to them to escape and end the match. Repeat this whole process 12 more times for:
Everything else can be focused on in matches together, since Jason can't be killed by traditional methods. You'll want to also roll the perk which gets multiple uses out of a first aid spray, effectively halving the amount you'll need to find within the map. Other perks are to taste, but anything that increases stamina or luck would be helpful, or if it increases the durability of melee weapons. Start off by raiding drawers, looking for First Aid Sprays, pocket knives, or firecrackers. Pick up any shotguns, baseball bats, bear traps, or flare guns you may find. Once you collect a weapon, teleport Jason over to you. Throw the firecrackers down in front of him as a distraction. Repeat this 12 more times for:
Every time you pick up a spray, jump through a window and use it. To crash through a window you must run at a window you can open/close while it's closed and double tap
. You'll go flying through the window and taking damage. You can do 2 jumps for each spray, so keep that in mind to maximize your usage. After jumping through 99 windows you'll get:
Spraying yourself 100 times gets you:
You can work on these as you explore for weapons. Another thing you'll want to do each game before time runs out is find the shack Jason spawns in and pick up the sweater. Once you find it and put it on, use in near Jason to stun him. After your 13th sweater stun you'll unlock:
Pick up a bear trap at any point and put it on the ground. Have Jason walk over it, free himself, then walk over it again. After 13 instances of trapping Jason you will earn:
Now it's mostly about fighting back. Pick up pocket knives from campsites or from drawers, then have Jason grab you while they're in your inventory. Tommy will always spawn with a pocket knife, shotgun, and spray so it may be wise to do a lot of these while getting your Tommy Jarvis spawns. After using your knife 13 times you get:
Since you'll be using combat weapons from now on, hit Jason with everything you have to knock his mask off. There's no need to pick it back up again, just knock it off a total of 13 times for:
Use a baseball bat to hit Jason 100 times. Unfortunately, these weapons can break after 2-3 hits, meaning you'll need a lot of bats to get this done. After getting 100 hits you'll unlock:
Smash BrosHit Jason with a baseball bat 100 times.

Firearms both only have a shot each, so you'll need 13 of each. Both flare guns and shotguns can be found in cabins. Hit Jason 13 times with the flare gun for:
Hit him with the shotgun 13 times for:
Now, it's time to quickly grind out 100 repairs. Teleport Jason to an electrical box outside of one of the cabins. Have him break it, then repair it. Repeat 99 more times to unlock:
Shock JockeySuccesfully perform 100 electrical and phone box repairs.

The last thing you'll need to do is map specific. so load up "Higgin's Haven" and find the bear in the cemetery. Can be done as either Jason or a counselor. Check the video below for the exact location:
The next part is the long counselor grind. The perk to start with a map is pretty necessary here. Start up any map and open up your in-game map to see your position, tell Jason where you are. Have Jason teleport to you and kill you. Repeat and repeat and repeat. After 100 deaths you'll unlock:
After 500 games you'll get:
Finally, after 1000 games, you'll finally get:
With the counselor achievements done it's time to move onto Jason achievements.
