This is a Scrabble clone that despite the high ratio is actually a pretty easy completion. The most time consuming thing will likely be the 100 multiplayer wins.
You will need 4 players for a few achievements, but that should be doable alone or with a single boosting buddy. This game supports cross-play with the mobile version (free) and the PC version (which I believe is cross-play, so you can't play on the same account, but should be easy to manage with a little home Xbox magic).
This walkthrough will lean heavily on online solvers, so you don't need to be particularly good at word games to finish it.
If you don't already know how to play scrabble, you have a set of letters in your rack and each turn you must add some of them to the board in a straight line. It must connect to at least one letter already on the board (although it CAN connect to more than one, either in the same word or different ones). Each letter it connects to has to form a valid English word with the letters you added. You will then get points based on the point value of each letter in the word(s) you formed, along with any colored bonus squares that were under the letters you placed on this turn.
There are several achievements that you may unlock accidentally while just playing the game:
These don't exactly stack, so getting a 150 point word will not unlock all of these achievements. However, what will happen is it will unlock the highest one you have left. So if you score a 130 point word, you would unlock the 120 point achievement first. If you got another 130 point word, you would unlock the 80 point achievement, etc. I unlocked all of them up to 80 (as well as the use all letters) while playing against the bots, without making any special effort.
We will start off with the games against bots.

Open the Scrabulizer website.
Go to the game design tab and change the rack length to 8. Right below that, change the bingo for using 7 tiles to zero.
Now, enter any words the bots have placed onto the board (unless you are the 1st player). Click on the square where the word starts (or use the arrows). The green side of the selected square is the direction it will move in as you type (it will only go right or down) and you can change that direction using the arrows. Then, enter the tiles from your rack into the area below the board and click "Get Solutions". It will give you a list of suggested moves that you can click on to preview. You can have it sort them simply by the highest score or by value (which takes things into account like saving good letter for later, or not giving opponents access to the bonus squares).
Continue entering the bots moves, and using the solver to suggest moves for you until you win:
And, if you finished the game in under 20 minutes (which is very likely as I usually took 8-10 minutes):
You can repeat this 29 more times for:
You can also choose to abuse the cloud save system to speed this up a bit. On or near your last move (when the tile bag is empty or about to be empty) hit to exit the game and save it.
Then quit the game and relaunch it. Load your saved game by selecting Resume from the Solo Game menu, and finish the game.
Once you win and your tracker goes up do the following WITHOUT QUITTING THE GAME:
- Open the menu and highlight Happy Words.
- Use the button and go down to "Manage games and add-ons" and hit .
- On the manage game screen, go down to saved data.
- Finally, on the saved data screen, select "Delete All". (I prefer this to selecting your profile's save, as Delete All will only delete the local copy. If you select just your profile it will give you the option of deleting the cloud copy as well, which you don't want to do. So I like to not even have the opportunity to mess up.)
- After deleting the game, relaunch it and you should be able to load and finish the game again.
You will need to play at least 2 games with 4 players. As mentioned in the overview, there are free mobile versions you can cross play with, and you can also play on PC as this is a play anywhere title. (Although this means you need to use a different account on the Xbox and PC). So it shouldn't be hard to run 4 players yourself or find a boosting buddy and run 2 each.

Vowel-Consonant Bags
This will make wins and getting high scoring words much easier. You do not automatically redraw tiles (in fact you can choose not to redraw them at all, which is handy when trying to win quickly). Instead, you can press (consonants) or (vowels) to draw a tile from the respective bag if you have less than the full 8 tiles. Once you have all 8, you can select a letter on your rack and use or to swap it for another letter of the same type, the button you press doesn't matter.
Timed Wins
Once you are all in game, pass your turns until you get to the player you want to win. Have them play a word (it doesn't have to be particularly good, even a 3 or 4 letter word will usually give you the win). If they have any high value tiles in their rack (Q,Z,J or X) you can try swapping those out as well since any remaining tiles in your rack at the end will count as negative score. Once the designated winner has played their word, have everyone skip their turn twice and the game will end. As long as you have done this in under ten minutes you should get:
The 20 minute achievement seems to work like the word score achievements, in that if you already have the "harder" achievement, then you will unlock the "easier" one. So when you repeat the above you should unlock:
If for some reason it doesn't (especially if the in game award popup references the 10 minutes), then you can set a timer and deliberately take over 10 minutes (I recommend waiting at least 12, as other games from this developer seem to require that).
Online Wins
The remainder of the online wins can be done in the same way, but change the game settings to only require 2 players.
High Value Words
You probably have unlocked several of the high value word achievements already. Bear in mind that (as covered on the tips page) a high scoring word will unlock the highest remaining achievement LESS than the word's value. So if you have already done 100 and 80, and place a 110 point word, it will unlock the 50 point achievement. The strategy I'm suggesting may take a little while but will reliably allow you to get 150+ point words.
Start a 2 player online game with the same settings as above.
You want to begin by working your way over to the edge of the board and having only one letter in the leftmost and next to leftmost columns. That letter must not be covering a triple word score (red) and ideally won't be covering the double letter score (light blue). While working your way over, it is fine to place words with either player, to swap tiles if you need to, and to skip turns (as long as you don't skip twice in a row with both players since that ends the game).
In the example below I placed POLAR, then PIE, then DAZE.
At this point I had RGJUFEAO in my rack.
Your goal is to make a word that will use all your tiles and crosses both triple word scores. This guarantees you an absolute minimum of 140 points, and that is only if every single letter is a one point letter, which is unlikely.
I used Word Tips Unscramble to find words I could make by swapping out a few letters.
On that site you want to the letters in your rack in the "YOUR LETTERS" box, and tell it you are looking for 9 letter words. (See below for what it looks like with all of the settings/filters entered.)
You also want to make sure the already placed letter is in the right position in the word. To do this start with 9 underscores. Then, since you need the 4th letter to be a D, replace the 4th underscore with the letter D (I've added spaces below to make it clearer):
_ _ _ D _ _ _ _ _
Put this value in the contains box.
Keep adding question marks to the end of "your letters" until it comes up with something. You want to do it with as few as you can, since every wildcard is a letter you will need to get by swapping. It's generally easier to get one letter you need than 3. But keep in mind that rare letters like Q,Z,X,J,K only have one letter in the bag, whereas 3 and 4 point letters have 2, and the 1/2 point letters have many more. So if one word requires you to get a Q, but another requires L, A, and I, the second option may be easier.
This shows the results of my search with 3 wildcards:
(3 wildcards is the most it will allow you to use, but if you need to replace more than 3 letters it's probably better to swap out your entire rack and try again or even start the game over.)
So, in my case, I needed to get D-I-N, and I had F-A-O that I didn't need.
Your first step should be to make sure that the number of consonants you need to replace matches the number of consonants you need, and the same for vowels. In my case I needed two consonants but only had one. So I played the word "OO" to get rid of an O and then drew a consonant to replace it on my next turn.
On each of your turns, try replacing the letters you don't need and hopefully you will get one you DO need (or a blank, which can be used as any letter, although Happy Words only allows one blank per word, so having both is not helpful). If you have an opportunity to make or extend a word with the letters you don't need, that is great, as long as it won't interfere with the placement of your 9 letter word later. Placing the letters gives you two chances to replace them (once when you drawing them and then again when discarding and replacing them) as well as taking some letters you DON'T need out of the rotation and giving you a higher chance of getting the ones you do need. If you can't make any words, just pass.
If the other player has any letters you need they should definitely swap them so they are back in the bag and available for you. You should place small words with the other player when you can, both to avoid accidentally ending the game by passing too many times in a row, and to get unneeded letters out of the bag.
Once you finally get all your letters and place your majestic word you will get:
Repeat as many times as you need to get any remaining point achievements you need:
1000 points
This is the most difficult achievement in the game, and getting that high of a score in a legitimate game would be nearly impossible, so we will be playing an online game with a dummy or boosting partner.

With 5 tiles you get a 50 point bonus for using all 5 of them. Scrabulizer will be your friend here. It doesn't have a setting for a 5 tile rack, but that's fine, since you can just leave the extra spots in your rack empty. The only change I recommend making is going to game design and adding a 50 point bingo for using 5 tiles, so it will reflect the score you will be getting in game.
Keep placing as many words using all your tiles as you can. If another move gives you more points, it's okay not to use them all, but the 50 point bonus means it will almost always be your best bet. If you can't place a word, you can swap out some letters or skip. Just don't skip twice in a row and end the game. When you are refilling your rack I had pretty good luck going with 3 consonants and 2 vowels each time, although you may need to adjust that near the end as they start to run low.
The dummy will almost entirely be skipping their turns. The only time you might want to have them place a word is if you have a word in your rack but aren't able to place it anywhere because you have nothing to connect it to.
You should be able to get up to 1000 points (I was able to get just over 1200) by the end by following this strategy to unlock:
