Like all walkthroughs I can only offer the tips that I have used when playing the game, but hopefully these will help you.
The game requires two playthroughs unless you are extremely good at this game, then you might get away with only one playthrough.
The reason i say this is because in order to only have one playthrough you would have to play through on guerrilla difficulty, and not get killed on every level, find all news pickups, and reboot saves to get the different achievements.
First Playthrough - Guerrilla
I advise going through guerrilla difficulty first so that you get a feel for the game, because on the next playthrough you will want to play on easy, without dying. This will teach you will all the good cover spots are, and how to get by each level.
The tips I can offer you are:-
- Pick up ammo as much as you can, because you will use lots of it.
- Use cover as much as you can, otherwise you will be killed quickly.
- Melee is a useless attack on this difficulty because enemies will kill you before you can get to them.
- Carry two weapons.
- Don't use pistols except when needed.
I also advise picking up the newspapers in this playthrough.
Second Playthrough - Iron Man
Strangely enough, this is the harder playthrough of the two; you have to complete the game without dying or restarting.
- Start on easy
- Use cover
- Let your teammates do most of the work
- Stock up on ammo
