3. Hydrophobia Story walkthroughUpdate notes

To help everyone with this game I will use this page not only to give you an idea as to when you get the opportunity to get achievements, but also point out where you can collect medals, documents and objects. This should make the "Private Eye" and "Celebrated" achievements easier.

The collectibles are what set you back on this game since if you didn't have to collect any, you could easily finish this game in 30m - 1hr since it only has 3 levels... seriously.

Hide ads

None of the achievements require you to play on a higher difficulty, so I recommend you start a new game on Easy.

I will explain in the most detail as possible how to get all of the collectibles in the game. However I have provided you a collection of videos to help you out. These are the ones I used to collect the "Private Eye" and "Celebrated" achievements. Credit for these videos go to the guys at RoosterTeeth...

Note: You must choose whether you prefer to follow the video guide or the text based guide for this walkthrough. Some people have stated that if you try and follow both methods, you may miss out on collectibles due to going different directions for collectibles.

Act 1

Overview: The longest and most boring level in the game. You will be introduced to the game and then you'll witness the terrorist attack. Here is where you get Kate to escape the A-Deck and also search and rescue any survivors who are still stuck in the same area as yourself.

Document 1: You'll be given this document when you first start the game

Document 2: You'll be given this document when you first start the game

Document 3: You'll be given this document when you first start the game

Object 1: Sleeping Pills: Search the room where you first start in the game

Object 2: Certificate Of Achievement: Search the room where you first start in the game

Object 3: Wrist Bands: Search the room where you first start in the game

Object 4: Classical Engineering: Search the room where you first start in the game

Object 5: Roy The Donkey: Search the room where you first start in the game

Object 6: Hand Grips: Search the room where you first start in the game

Note: You'll be given a cut scene, and you'll be instructed to open a door. Do not open the door until you have all of the collectibles in this room. The reason is because this is the only occasion in the game you'll be in this room.

Medal 1: Systems Engineer: When you escape from the elevator, turn around and you'll see a red lighted door. Run to it and it should give you this medal.

Document 4: After the cut scene, equip your Mavi (press cn_X) and then use it on the wall to your left. You should see an imprinted document.

Imprinted Document?: These are messages which are written on the wall, but are invisible to the naked eye. The only way in which you'll be able to discover them is by using a Mavi. Note that once you have scanned an imprinted document, it'll get stored in your documents page and cannot be scanned again. This means that unlike documents and objects which can be re-done, even though you collect them you cannot re-collect an Imprinted Document.

Object 7: Queen Of The World Replica: In the room which has 2 computer desks either side and one straight ahead, it'll be located on the left desk. Easy to spot.

Document 5: On the floor next to the Queen Of The World Replica object

Document 6: On the floor next to the computer desk on the right side.

Document 7: You will get a cut scene and then after the cut scene the item will be obtainable, which is right next to the dead body.

Medal 2: Acrobat: First jump onto the girder and then climb up it. Then if you look to your left, you will see a straight pole which you can use to hang on. Get yourself onto that pole and then swing yourself to the other girder, which is on the other side. The medal will be awarded once you have landed on that platform successfully.

Object 8: Queen Of The World Anniversary: You will find this item on the girder which you have just been awarded the Acrobat medal on. You will now have the unfortunate part of backtracking in order to get to the next area.

Hacking: You will now be introduced to the hacking feature in the game. To hack a console, simply press the cn_X Button and your Mavi will present a mini-game. Your goal is to match the lines which the computer is presenting. This is done by pressing and holding the cn_LS & cn_RS. You have a time limit in which you must try and complete the hack. If the time runs out though, you will fail and you will have to press cn_X and try again. When you first start the game you will only have a couple of hacks per console, but as you advance later in the game you'll get consoles which require more than 3 - 4 rounds for a successful hack.

Medal 3: Geek: This Medal can be missable. If you fail to achieve the requirement, you will have to start a new play-through, or reload a previous checkpoint and try again. This medal requires you to complete the game without failing a hack. This means you must not let the time run out, and make the game give you a failure on a hack. Luckily there is an advantage, which is if you are running low on time, and you feel as though you are going to fail the hack, press the cn_B Button to cancel the hack. You will then return to game-play, and then you can press the cn_X Button to try again. This will not count as a failure, and will allow you to get this medal much easier.

Oh and this will be your first hack overall in the game, which means you will get this achievement after you have successfully completed the hack.

Medal 4: Panther: You will come to a part where the water will start rising through a corridor, and you will have to swim underwater. The door straight ahead will start closing. Swim through it, and you will get this medal. If you fail, either die or reload the previous checkpoint

Object 9: Queen Of The World Anniversary Globe: Located on top of a phone box. To get to it, use the snack machine and climb from there.

Document 8: In the same room on the left corner. Use your Mavi to find the imprinted document

You will eventually get to an area in the game, where an elevator will lose it's balance, and will fall in a short period of time. There is a door around half-way up. You must climb up and go through this door before the elevator falls. If you take too long the Elevator will crush you. You cannot backtrack as the fire below will kill you.

Document 9: You will see a survivor named Chief Billingham. Don't go and see him yet. For now go right and you'll notice a green dead body. Examine it for the document.

Medal 5: Systems Engineer 2: Near the dead body, there is a door which is encrypted. Walk to it. You'll know if you have done this right because your character will have a conversation with Scoot.

Document 10: Near the door where you first came in after the elevator incident, there is an upper area which can be accessed if you climb up it (use the poles/girders). It's noticeable by the fact that it forms a square around you. Keep climbing up and eventually you'll find another green dead body at the top, examine it.

Medal 6: Explorer: This medal is glitchy. If it doesn't work the first time, you'll have to start a new playthrough, or reload a previous checkpoint. This medal requires you find 2 secret rooms which are roughly in the same area. One of them you've already done, which is the square area where you found the previous collectible (dead green body up the top). The other one is where the elevator was before it fell down. Head through the door, it'll be safe now (apart from the bottom) and keep climbing up. Eventually you'll find another door, and as soon as you go in and walk around, you'll get the award. You may need to look at the dead green bodies for this medal to be awarded, but it might not be necessary.

Document 11: In the room where you have just been awarded the "Explorer Medal", you should see a green dead body. Examine it for another document.

Document 12: You will be given a cut scene (if you didn't get too close to Billingham before), and then you'll have to find a way to get Billingham out of the room he is in. Use your Mavi at this point and look at the left side of the room he is trapped in.

Document 13: You will have to climb onto the platform above you from the left side of the room. Once done, shimmy across and get yourself on the other-side. Once done, go through the door and then drop down to the bottom platform in the room, you will see the document.

Object 10: Wanted: Mila Krass: In the same room on the desk.

Object 11: 10th Anniversary Commemorative Coin: Climb back up the ladder and head into the room, which is above the room where Billingham is trapped. In here you will learn how to use a Frequency Key, and there will also be a green dead body with the collectible.

Document 14: Eventually as you progress into the game, you'll come to a part where you'll dodge some Malthusians. You will then have to decrypt a door to get to the Security Area. On the right side of the security machine, there will be an imprinted document. Use your Mavi to get it.

Medal 7: Firefighter: You will get a timer and within that time limit, you must rescue Chief Billingham or he will die. You will need to backtrack the way you came in and keep on heading in that direction until you get to the room where you first encounter Billingham. Use your Mavi and then highlight the door that's behind him. Press cn_X to open the door.

You will be awarded the Firefighter medal, and the achievement for saving Chief Billingham. If you have failed to save Billingham, either create a new playthrough or reload from the previous checkpoint.

Object 12: Commanders Cut: In the same room with Chief Billingham

Object 13: Character Profile: In the same room with Chief Billingham

Document 15: Awarded when you go in to the room with Chief Billingham

Document 16: Awarded when you go in to the room with Chief Billingham

Document 17: Awarded when you go in to the room with Chief Billingham

Document 18: Awarded when you go in to the room with Chief Billingham

Document 19: In the same room with Chief Billingham

Medal 8: Collector: This medal will be awarded when you find all of the collectibles in Act 1

Note: The Collector Medals are glitchy as most of them are awarded earlier than anticipated. The reason is because even though the imprinted documents and medals are counted towards the achievement, they do not count towards the in-game collectibles.

Document 20: You will be swimming for a while and then you'll get a cut scene related to another elevator. In this room use your Mavi and look on the wall to your right for an imprinted document.

Act 2

Believe it or not you are actually now half-way through the game. The next two levels are much shorter than the first level. You will now be given a gun, which means you can shoot things and gain more achievements in this game. There are some collectibles still around so don't forget to collect them as you go.

Medal 9: Deep Breath: As soon as you start the level, head back into the water tunnel which you had to swim up originally to gain access into the level. You'll need to swim down until you see an elevator door. Go in this area and keep swimming and avoiding the obstacles until you reach a dead end. An imprinted document will be here. Grab it quickly and head back to the top where you started Act 2. If done successfully you'll be awarded this medal.

Note: This medal can only be achieved in one attempt. If you fail then you will either have to reload your previous save or die and try again.

Document 21: As described in Medal 9: Deep Breath

Document 22: As soon as you start the beginning bit of Act 2, you'll notice a green dead body. It will have a collectible.

Document 23: From the previous collectible, turn round and then use your Mavi to collect the imprinted document on the side of the door.

Medal 10: Supersonic: Complete The Game Using Sonic Rounds Only: This medal can be missable. If you fail to achieve the requirement, you will have to start a new play-through or reload a previous checkpoint and try again!

At last you have a gun, which means you can now shoot and kill as you please... yeah right. This medal requires you to complete the game only using the Sonic Rounds. The gun you have in the game can take various clips, which allow it to change it's firing range. Examples would be that the Sonic Rounds shoot a shockwave which shocks the opponent, and you can also get clips which are similar to a Sub-Machine Gun and a Shotgun.

You must make sure you equip and only use the Sonic Rounds throughout the entire game in order to get this medal. They have unlimited ammo so it's easy to recognize. If you make a mistake and use a different round of ammunition, you can reload your previous checkpoint and continue from there.

Tip: When you start the second level, you will notice poles which are shooting electric beams. If you get too close to them, you will be shocked and killed. To destroy the poles, simply use your new gun and shoot the bottom of the poles to take off the bottom parts.

Shortly after this part you'll be introduced to the Malthusians which are your enemies. They are responsible for sinking the ship. Luckily you can now use them to your advantage to gain a few achievements. Below is a list of the achievements which can be popped against them, and then once you have finished reading all of this, continue the game from your previous collectible description.

This one is the easiest as all you need to do is shoot a Malthusian with a Sonic Round from your gun, and then if the enemy falls into the water, he will most likely get up or drown due to weakness. If he drowns you'll get this achievement.

You'll probably get this achievement without much notice. It requires you to kill 2 Malthusians in a row, to form a Chain Attack. The game features combos and the more that gets involved in the game (killed enemies, explosions etc), the bigger the combo can be.

Medal 11: Combos: Get A Total Of 20 Combos In One Playthrough: This counts throughout all your playthroughs throughout the entire game, and it also includes the Challenge Room. This medal requires you to get a total of 20 Combos. Like the "Chain Gang" achievement, you'll probably get this without taking too much notice, since if you shoot a lot of exploding barrels, tanks and enemies, your bound to build up some combos. You'll probably get this sometime around the end of Act 2 or during Act 3.

Medal 12: Mega Combo: Score 7000+ Points in One Combo: Not an easy medal, you'll need to either change the difficulty to get more points, or find an area in the game where you can practice and build up the combos fast. If you find a perfect spot, go as fast as you can and shoot anything in site. This will include enemies, barrels, tanks and anything explosive.

This achievement will come in due time. You will need to lure enemies to either of the 2 sources, and then shock them with the Sonic Rounds from the gun. If done correctly, the enemy will get hit and then they'll take damage from one of the two sources. You can always reload a checkpoint and retry this achievement on the same enemy until you get it, but this is not necessary.

With the latest update to the game, the achievement has now become glitchy. It took me a few attempts to get this one and it took me more than 3 enemies to try and get it.

To get this achievement you'll need to lure some Malthusians near a glass window, and then break the glass so that they get swept by the water which is coming through the glass. They don't have to be killed in order to get this achievement, and it doesn't have to be done in one level. The easiest area to get this is at the start of Act 2. Get an enemy to walk nearby a window, and then quickly aim and fire at it. Within the short period of time it should knock the enemy over.

Document 24: You'll have to go through a vent in order for you to continue the game. As you travel through it, you will notice a corner which is up in flames. Use your Mavi and look down for an imprinted document. Another suggestion is to equip the Mavi whilst your walking through the vent, since there are no enemies here.

Medal 13: Bad Dream: To get this medal, you'll need to shock a Malthusian with a weapon, and whilst he is flashing red shoot a exploding barrel which is nearby him. There are plenty of opportunities to do this, so don't worry if you fail too many times. Remember you can always reload your previous checkpoints and try again.

Medal 14: Humanitarian: Headshot a Malthusian while they are on fire or being electrocuted: You'll probably get this medal without much notice, but if you find an enemy who is near a perfect spot to get this medal, then simply shock the enemy with some electricity, or burn him with a flaming barrel etc, and then aim carefully at his head whilst he is flashing red. You may get the Bad Dream Medal at the same time, whilst doing this.

Document 25: You will go through another vent to another location. The vent will split so use your Mavi and go left, and eventually you'll find an imprinted document on the wall to the right.

Medal 15: Valour: This medal can be missable. If you fail to achieve the requirement, you will have to start a new playthrough, or reload a previous checkpoint and try again. If Chief Billingham has died in the previous Act, then this medal cannot be achieved. You'll need to rescue a 2nd person which is Grimley. He will be held at gunpoint by the Malthusians, waiting to be shot. At this point you'll be introduced to the CCTV cameras. With the Mavi you have the ability to activate doors and devices even when your not in the same room. Whilst in CCTV Mode put the CCTV to the room where the gun point is taking place, and then press the cn_X Button on the door to the left, you will flush out the water onto the Malthusians and be awarded the medal.

Document 26: In the next room on the computer desk, is a document on the right side.

Document 27: Use your Mavi and you will notice an imprinted document on the wall behind the computer desk.

Medal 16: Espionage: Use CCTV To Spot The Malthusian In The Cycloconverter B Control Room: This medal can be Missable. If you fail to achieve the requirement, you will have to start a new playthrough, or reload a previous checkpoint and try again! When you enter the Cycloconverter B Control Room, immediately use your Mavi and press cn_X on the CCTV camera. Scroll through the rooms and eventually you'll see a Malthusian guarding a door. If done correctly the medal will unlock when Scoot comments on the guard.

Document 28: After the corridors to Cycloconverter B, you'll see a small staircase to a small upper area. Use your Mavi to collect the imprinted document on the wall near the flames.

Document 29: After killing the Malthusians in this room, head up to the top and you'll find yourself around a Control Area. Use your Mavi to collect the imprinted document on the wall.

Document 30: After opening a valve and going through some corridors, you'll come to the Cycloconverter A Room., In this room up a small set of stairs, you'll find a document on the floor behind a blue wall.

Object 14: Anxiety No More: You'll come to a room that contains two timed flaming fumes. The object will be on the floor in the middle of them.

Document 31: After extinguishing the fires, head over to the Engine Room near the CCTV camera. In this room use your Mavi and check the left wall for the imprinted document

Document 32: It is an imprinted document, and it is in the room with a ladder. Use your Mavi and have a look around. It'll be behind a flame fume.

Document 33: You'll go through another vent, and it will contain another imprinted document which is located on the floor.

Document 34: Once you have exited the vent, you'll be introduced to Gel Rounds. A green dead body will be nearby. Examine the body to receive the collectible.

Medal 17: Stealth: Kill The First 3 Malthusians In The First VFD Facility Without Being Detected: This medal can be missable. If you fail to achieve the requirement, you will have to start a new playthrough, or reload a previous checkpoint and try again. This is not an easy medal to do since it requires you to kill 3 enemies without any of them spotting you. Now originally you would have to get this medal separately since you need to use other ammunition other than Sonic Rounds to get this medal. However there is a trick in which once you have earned the medal, immediately reload the previous checkpoint or die. By doing this you'll get transported back to the previous checkpoint, but your Medal will still be saved.

I recommend using the Gel Rounds on the first guard. He will walk to the right so launch a Gel and when he gets close, detonate it. Quickly take cover because the other 2 guards may catch the explosion and investigate. If this happens, use your Gel Rounds to finish them off too. If they don't then you'll have to improvise. There should be an explosive barrel on the far left side, Shoot it and then take cover, let the enemy lurk around, and then fire your Gel Round. The Gel Round in this game acts like a Prox Mine. It's perfect for stealth kills.

Document 35: In the Maintenance Room, there should be a console you'll need to hack. The document will be nearby it and some flames.

Document 36: In the same room on the floor.

Document 37: When the room where the guards were goes underwater, a wall will collapse. Head into the Maintenance Access Room and then use your Mavi to scan the imprinted document on the left side of the wall.

Document 38: Eventually you will get to a narrow room with a big red door which needs opening. Take the ladder on the right side and then use your Mavi to scan the imprinted document on the wall.

Document 39: Keep climbing up and you will end up in another small room. The document is near the computer desk.

Document 40: There is a vent you need to use, that's on the other side of the small room you are in. Travel through the vent and you'll then be in a different room with a console on the right side that needs hacking. An imprinted document is next to it.

Object 15: The Prophecy Of Maltus: In the same room near a fence on the floor.

Medal 18: Shoot The Breach In VDF 2 To Flood The Room And Escape: Pretty simple. After you have hacked the console, you just need to shoot the wall where the water is squirting out of. Once the water has entered the room, you'll achieve this medal. Keep this idea in mind, because you'll need to do this a few more times in the game.

Document 41: In a room full of flames, climb up the far right vending machine and then up the 3 red pipes. Go inside the vent and then go right to find an imprinted document on the floor.

Document 42: You will have to open 2 valves which are underwater. Once you have done that you will enter a Control Room. Use your Mavi and collect the imprinted document on the centre wall.

Document 43: After shooting a wall and doing some climbing, you will be in a room with a staircase and a lot of water. Head into the water and then equip your Mavi. There should be an imprinted document located on the wall, to the left of the door.

Document 44: You will get to a point in the game where you'll have to hack another console. Once hacked you'll be able to enter the room which should have two dead bodies. In this room use your Mavi and collect the imprinted document on the wall up the top behind you.

Medal 19: Maelstrom: Use CCTV To Flood The First Loading Bay: In the big room with the containers, head into the water and use the CCTV camera and look for a small door stairwell. Use the CCTV to open the door around there.

Document 45: When the objective for saving the security officers appears, look out of the window to your right. The document will be on the red pipe. Go into the water and then climb up to the red pipe to grab the collectible.

Medal 20: Collector 2: This medal will be awarded when you find all of the collectibles in Act 2.

The Collector medals are glitchy as most of them are awarded earlier than anticipated. The reason is because even though the imprinted Documents and medals are counted towards the achievement, they do not count towards the in-game collectibles.

This achievement was previously glitched, and was not obtainable when the game first came out. If you however apply for the update which comes with the game, the achievement will be fixed and obtainable. But this patch will also make the "Swept Off Their Feet" achievement glitchy. Please read the above information about that achievement if you need help.

This is the Act where you'll most likely get this achievement. If you don't then you'll get it whilst playing Act 3. This achievement requires you to kill 10 Malthusians whilst you are underwater. Pick off the enemies one by one and make sure you swim up to the air for water to prevent drowning. You must kill the enemies whilst you are underwater or else this achievement won't work. Beware that the underwater enemies will be wearing Scuba Gear and cannot be drowned, unless you weaken them and make them flash red.

Medal 21: Mermaid: Spend 20 Minutes Underwater: This medal is across all your games played, but since you are searching for collectibles, there's a highly likely chance you'll get this around Act 2 or Act 3. It requires you to spend a total of 20 minutes underwater. Since the game has a lot of underwater areas, you'll be building up the time on this medal quite fast so don't worry too much about this one.

Document 46: In the same room as the previous document, go underwater and swim through the corridor. Get to the air surface on the map. Before you enter the second door on your right, head up a little staircase nearby and you should see a glass windowed room. Shoot the glass and equip your Mavi. The imprinted document is next to the ammo box.

Document 47: After some swimming you'll get to some yellow stairs. Run up to the top and then use your Mavi to collect the imprinted document on the wall, next to the body.

Document 48: You'll get to a part where you'll encounter a moving bridge. Climb down the ladder on the far right, and then head over to the other side. The document is on the wall to the left, nearby the two crates.

Some point during Act 2, if you have successfully managed to earn most of the medals in the game, you'll receive this achievement for earning 50% of them. This achievement is made easy though because a handful of the medals are earned just by playing the game.

Act 3

Overview: Good News! Act 3 is the shortest level throughout the game. This Act has a lot more action, since it requires you to go back to the starting point and take down Malthusians located in familiar places. You'll also witness the greatest thing that has happened in this game... the cliff-hanger ending... uhhh... whatever.

Medal 22: Flood: Flood The Corridors After Leaving The Loading Bays: This medal is glitchy. If it doesn't work the first time, you'll have to start a new playthrough, or reload a previous checkpoint. This medal is a bit annoying to do. You'll be in a room with a few Malthusians, and a few rooms with doors and a glass window next to it. You need to fill this room with water, and shoot the glass windows in each room, except for the Cyclo A Room. I recommend you kill the Malthusians first, to prevent them from spoiling the objective. Next get some water in from the previous room you came through in. Then after that shoot the glass windows to lure the water in. If you have done it correctly the Medal will be awarded, but if you haven't then either die or reload the checkpoint and try again.

Document 49: After shooting the electric wires, take a left and then a right, and once you have done that, you will find a room which has a Maintenance Access Sign on the door. Shoot the glass and use your Mavi to find the imprinted document.

Document 50: In the Cycloconverter A room, there are some engines on the right side of the room. The collectible will be on the very last engine down the far end of the room.

Document 51: Whilst you are underwater, you will find an encrypted Security Office door, go in the room and turn around. Use your Mavi and collect the imprinted document above the door.

Object 16: Queen Of The World Anniversary: After the elevator cut scene, you will find this collectible on the bench to your right.

Medal 23: Gravity: Launch 2 Malthusians Over The Side Of The Shuttle Plaza: This medal can be missable. If you fail to achieve the requirement, you will have to start a new playthrough, or reload a previous checkpoint and try again. This medal doesn't require you to launch 2 enemies over the side at the same time, which means you can pick and choose which enemies to knock over. The easiest area I found to get this medal fast is at the starting point of the Plaza, where you saw the collectible on the bench after the cut scene. There should be an item you can use to take cover. Use it and lure the enemies down the stair part. Use either the Sonic or Gel Rounds to knock the enemies over the top. Gel Rounds are better since they act like a Prox Mine.

Note: Remember if you decide to use a different round of ammunition to reload your previous checkpoint, or die once you have earned the medal. Doing so will still let the game award you the medal for completing the game using only Sonic Rounds.

Document 52: You'll get to parts in the Plaza where there are stairs to small areas in the level. Take the 2nd set of stairs and it should bring you to an area that looks like a small office. Go around the left side and use your Mavi to get the imprinted document on the wall.

Document 53: Down another set of stairs you will see some elevators. These may spawn enemies so be careful. Nearby them on a bench to the right is the collectible.

Object 17: Anniversary Big Boy Hand: In the main Plaza part where the enemies were battling with you earlier, you should see a small gap in the middle where the buildings and flames are. In between the gap, you will see a bench and the collectible. Look here first before you move onward in the game, or you'll miss the collectible.

Medal 24: Collector 3: This medal will be awarded when you find all of the collectibles in Act 3.

The Collector medals are glitchy as most of them are awarded earlier than anticipated. The reason is because even though the imprinted documents and medals are counted towards the achievement, they do not count towards the in-game collectibles.

Medal 25: All Items: Collect All Items In The Game: This medal will be awarded when you find all of the Items in the game.

This Medal is also glitchy as it is awarded earlier than anticipated.

Medal 26: Honor: Choose To Rescue Scoot Without Hesitation: After you go through the vent, do not go through the doors. Instead kill the Malthusians, and head through and hack your final console in the game.

Document 54: After you go through the vent, nearby the elevators there is an imprinted document.

Document 55: Before you hack your final console in the game, use your Mavi and collect the imprinted document on the right side of the wall.

This should be your last collectible in the game. If you have followed the guide and managed to find all of them, then you'll be awarded this achievement. If you haven't got it, check your progress in the Inventory to see what you have missed and then reload that particular Act and area in the game where you have missed the collectible. The achievement will unlock once you have collected the last missing collectible you need in the game.

Once you have hacked your last console, your next mission will be to rescue Scoot. Now as you walk down to the bottom of the stairs and into the next room, prepare for the ultimate thing you will witness in the game... The Cliff-hanger Ending. Once that has been and gone you will receive this achievement for completing the game... What... Really?!

Now that you have finished the game, you will still have to play a bit more of it to collect the remaining medals and finish off the achievements. The next thing you need to do is play a game mode called "Challenge Room". This is where you should get the last 2 achievements you need to finish the game.

The Challenge Room is a mini-game mode in which your goal is to kill the enemies that spawn within the time limit. At first it doesn't look easy, but with a few tricks and tactics, it can actually be a cakewalk. Firstly Kate will have a new attack exclusive to this game mode. The attack allows her to take control of the water. She can rise and sink the water, make it go side to side, drag enemies and you can also create vicious tidal waves using the gravity within Kate's power.

Now each wave contains about 10 Malthusians to kill, and you will also be equipped with your weapon. To get this achievement you must survive and complete all of the waves, there are only 5. There are medals though, which can only be earned in the Challenge Room, and they require you to complete this game mode without using a weapon. This means you must rely on Kate's new gravity attack.

Tip: I recommend you stay on the upper platforms. Going in the water and using this ability is not a good idea, as you'll get shot and you cannot perform a great wave whilst in the water. I found an area in the game which allowed me to glitch and not get shot much throughout all of the waves in the game. What I did was stand as close as possible in between the parts that stick out of both the 2 doors which are on the upper platforms. I didn't have a perfect camera angle, but I kept on using the Tidal Wave trick time to time, to lure and kill the enemies.

Medal 27: Hydro Power: Complete The First 2 Waves Without Firing Your Gun.

Medal 28: Poseidon’s Daughter: Complete Challenge Room Without Firing Your Gun.

Once you have completed all 5 Waves, then you should be awarded the last 2 achievements in the game. If you have missed out on any medals, check your progress in the Inventory to see what you have missed and then reload the particular Act and area in the game where you have missed the medal. The achievement will unlock once you have collected the last missing collectible you need in the game.

And with all that in mind, if you have successfully managed to find all of the collectibles, complete the game and earn all of the achievements. You should now have all 12 achievements worth 200 Gamerscore. Congratulations!
