JUJU Walkthrough

4. Story Walkthrough: World 2

Let's start World 2!

Level 2-1

You'll notice this shortly but every world has different enemies. They are kind of the same as in previous worlds but they just look different. For example, spiders are like red spider Jojo's, crabs are like guys carrying bombs, walking bombs or mouses and UFOs are like frogs (when flying up and down). This is why I won't be explaining every one of them. This level will be on ground only and you'll also come across a lot of ferris wheels.

Teleport #1 - Shortly after encountering your first UFO enemy, you'll see two ferris wheels in the sky. Stick to the ground and keep going to the right, the teleport will be in a hidden wall.

Teleport #2 - When you see a red spider yo-yo hanging from a green block, jump on the platform next to it. Then jump and headbutt to the left to reach the next platform and jump into the barrel. You'll be launched up, now you only have to make one jump to the right to get to the teleport.

Teleport #3 - Shortly after, you'll encounter another ferris wheel which is longer than the others. Instead of going to the top right where the bomb guy is, go to the top left corner where the bells are hanging to reveal a hidden zone.

After completing this level, replay it as we'll be getting our achievement for finishing a level without collecting a single amber here.

This level is the easiest to do this on. At the end, where you need to do the tricky jump, press cn_LSr and cn_X and cn_A at the same time.

If you do manage to collect an amber, just kill yourself and you can try again from the last checkpoint you came across.

Also, make sure you don't kill any enemies as that will earn you ambers!

Here is a video to help if you are struggling (credit goes to LateNiteGamer on YouTube).

Upon completing the level with zero ambers (watch out for the spinning wheel ambers at the end of the level!) you'll unlock the following achievement:

Amberophobia

Complete any level without collecting an amber.

Level 2-2

This level will have a lot of train riders which are kinda like the Donkey Kong Country minecart levels, but just not as exciting. You'll only have to jump and duck on these as well as avoid/kill enemies. The rest of the level is on ground level with a few pits you can fall in, so watch out.

Teleport #1 - After the train ride at the beginning, use the sun to swing to the left platform with the teleport on it.

Teleport #2 - When you reach the part with wooden platforms after the second train ride, instead of going to the right use the platform that's going up and down to go up. You'll find a wooden platform with an enemy on it. Use the platform to jump to the left wall, the teleport is hidden inside a block with stars on it which is in the wall.

Teleport #3 - After the third train ride you'll come across an alarm clock ferris wheel. Instead of going up the ferris wheel, keep walking to the right, the teleport is inside the block with stars on it.

Level 2-3

Now I'll be comparing this game to Donkey Kong Country yet again, but this level is like the levels in that game where you are a shadow and the rest of the level is light, but reverse. You'll have a small light around you and the rest of the level is dark. This level is mainly on ground level but you'll be launched by cannons quite a bit. You'll also encounter hopping pumpkin enemies, but these shouldn't be much of a problem. The teleports are also really close together.

Teleport #1 - Shortly into the level you'll see a red flipping platform. Use cn_LSd to fall through it, you'll be launched into the teleport by the cannons.

Teleport #2 - You'll see another red flipping platform shortly after. Fall through it to go into an area with lots of ambers. Walk to the left, the teleport is inside a hidden wall.

Teleport #3 - Another red flipping platform. Fall through it and you'll be launched into the teleport.

Level 2-4

This is the first boss of World 2. You'll gain the ability to ground pound here.

Alright, you'll get a little cutscene of course. You'll be fighting a robot.

Firstly he'll smash his hands on the ground which will leave some shockwaves. Then he'll sweep the ground with his arms, so jump over them. After that he'll summon two machines so jump over the electricity lines, twice. Now a little guy comes out. Headbutt or jump on the yellow part.

He'll be going around the screen now trying to crush you. Stand at the far right/left and he won't be able to touch you. After that he'll use the attacks previously mentioned.

The attacking order is smash, sweep then summon machines. He'll do this twice before the little guy comes out again. Headbutt the yellow part again (jumping on it might be easier).

Now he'll swing his arms. Keep jumping over the lower arm and stay low so you don't get hit by the upper arm, ducking isn't necessary. He'll try to crush you again so stand at the far left/right of the screen. Now he will smash, sweep, swing and finally summon machines. The little guy will come out again. Headbutt or jump on the yellow part to beat him.

Upon collecting the thing floating in the middle of the arena you'll gain the ability to ground pound.

Level 2-5

This level will be on a construction site where you'll have to jump onto (sometimes) moving blocks and platforms quite a bit. Also, the tutorial character on the background will teach you how to use your new ability.

Teleport #1 - After you ground pound on the red button, headbutt to the left when the block is lifted up by the crane. The teleport will be on a platform.

Teleport #2 - Quite a bit further you'll see a block going up and down. Stand on the block, wait for it to go down and the teleport will be to the right.

Teleport #3 - At the wooden platform section after the checkpoint where you had to ground pound a red button, there'll be a big block going left and right. After this block go up the platforms and follow the platforms to the left. The teleport will be on the platform that's above the platform carrying the big block in the top left corner.

Level 2-6

This level will be mainly on ground level but will also have a few on rail sections where you'll have to stand on a wooden snake. These sections are a lot like the on rail snake levels in Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, but just way more easy and boring.

Teleport #1 - You'll come across a UFO enemy flying above a platform. From the platform, jump into the big block with the star on it. The teleport will be hidden behind it.

Teleport #2 - Right next to a checkpoint, there'll be a UFO enemy flying above some platforms. Drop down and walk to the left, the teleport will be in a hidden wall.

Teleport #3 - After interacting with the background character you can either go up or right. Bounce yourself up from the trampoline and jump up a few platforms, the teleport will be at the top.

Level 2-7

This level will have quite a bit of moderate platforming with red flipping platforms and wooden slides as well as a more exciting train ride near the end.

Teleport #1 - After dropping down a red platform, use the platforms next to it to go all the way up. Once up there go to the left and the teleport will be behind a hidden wall.

Teleport #2 - If you walk a little bit further from the red platform, you'll have to drop down. Before doing so, headbutt into the big block with the star on it to reveal the teleport.

Teleport #3 - After encountering a UFO enemy with a red beam, drop down and go to the left. You'll have to swim a bit and then you can bounce into the teleport by using the trampoline.

Level 2-8

Yay, boss level!

After he slams his hand on the ground, ground pound on it. He'll turn around and you'll be able to use the gas to fly up and then ground pound one of his batteries out!

He'll drop some bombs down now so be sure to move out of the way before they explode. Then he'll pull a laser out of his head, I'd suggest you go the opposite direction to which the laser is going.

What? You thought he was going to slam his hand on the ground again? Sike! More lasers! After this he will though. Ground pound his hand again (watch out for the shockwave) and he'll turn around again which will give you the chance to ground pound his second battery out.

He'll use his lasers again. This time stay in the middle, and walk to the direction the lasers go this time! He'll be dropping some more bombs and then use his lasers again. Once this pattern ends he will slam his hand on the ground so you can ground pound the final battery out.

Upon collecting the thing floating in the middle of the arena you'll unlock World 3 along with an unlockable level (if you gathered all coins in World 2 up until now). You will also unlock the following achievement:

Does. Not. Compute. Bzzz.

Defeat Robos and collect his key part.

Does. Not. Compute. Bzzz.
