Junk Fu is a fantastic Kinect Fun Labs App, as well as it being an easy 50G and completed game, it is also rather enjoyable fun which is more than I can say for most of the other Kinect Fun Lab games out there at the moment. You can download the game from either the game marketplace or directly from the Kinect Fun Labs app on the Xbox Dashboard.

Unfortunately, this game is no longer free to download. You must pay 240 Microsoft points to download it, however you are only able to play it if you have an Xbox 360 Kinect Sensor.

The menus are easy enough to navigate once in the game, and nothing seems to complicated. The rules are simple, you are standing at the end of a platform whilst objects will come at you from the left, right and middle. To destroy these objects you can kick or punch, the aim of the game is to burn as many calories and not let any objects past, if you let too many objects past it's game over!

At first the objects come towards you fairly slowly, and you don't have too much trouble destroying all that comes in your path, however once you burn enough calories off, more objects will appear and they will also come at faster speeds. The game really gets you moving around and is a decent way to get a quick bit of exercise in during the day, you feel good reading the calories burnt figure too as you feel quite acomplished and satisfied knowing you burnt off a slice of cake, or a slice of pizza.

The achievements for this game are quite simple, all you need to do is upload your scores to the Kinect Server, and burn off a certain amount of calories in one game. All in all, it won't take you long to grab all the achievements, at most it will take a little practice to get used to how the game works, especially if you're not used to working out! The hardest one will require you to burn off a Pizza slice, which requires constantly playing which can sometimes take a long time, you have to be quite enduring in order to get this far. There is a little trick which can speed up the process, but it will use up a lot of your energy. You basically move as much as you can, jump, punch, kick, do anything you can to move and the calories burnt meter will increase much faster than it normally does!

The replay value for this game is sadly little, as most people will grab there 50G and delete it from their Hard Drive, however I still manage to get a little fun out of seeing how many calories I can burn without dying from losing my breath!

All in all this is a soid Kinect Fun Labs app with fun achievements, much more enjoyable than some of the earlier Kinect Fun Labs titles!

AvianetteThere is actually a lot of replay value to this game if you happen to be using Kinect Playfit, as I'm beginning to realize. :P Nice review; it got a thumbs up from me!

Ah yes, I forgot to mentioned that as I don't think this game used to be compatible with Kinect Playfit. If I ever download it, the only game I'll use to burn off calories is Junk Fu - it's very fun.
