So this is a computer game version of the board game rpgs. Basically you have the graphic image of 6 people round a table talking about various battles. I go to the pub sometimes and play these board games. They are very complex with rules that you need to be a wizard to understand. I sit there and have a pint and have no idea what is going on but it is good to get out .

So this came out and I thought it would give me some insight into this murky world of board games. Well actually it is pretty much the same. There are 0 instructions on how to play it.

I was up to level 25 and had some gold so I bought some things. doors and the like. It had been going well and although the game itself is extremely limited it was good to go back to the 1970's. It also reminded me of the old megadrive RPGs. Turn based and good fun but in a limited way.

Then I went back to the game. Now it is playing by itself and doing a really p*** poor job of it. So much so I am left with 1 gold piece and 3 members of my 5 member squad left. I have PMd the developers to ask what is going on. So if they get back to me perhaps I can up date this review.

Nothing back from the programming team but I started playing it again. It is immensely good fun.

Darklord1899I reported the autoplaying to the studio. It seems that it is a glitch. I am not sure I have the will to carry on playing it. We shall see I guess.

Darklord1899The upshot is there is a bug on it. I had to delete my game save. Not sure I really want to put more time into it again.

Not The SelkieI fairly sure that you've accidentally activated "Confuser" as your rug in the shop. It increases your experience gained by 30% but you lose control of targeting. Rather than just losing control of which enemy you attack (as the description suggests) you also lose the ability to choose what action each character takes. The end result is that the game plays all the battles by itself.

Darklord1899Thanks, it would be nice if that came up as a warning.
