LEGO Worlds Walkthrough

3. Story walkthrough

Walkthrough

The first 10 bricks will be the same for everyone, and afterward, everyone will go off in different directions, going to random biomes, so keep in mind, how to do any quest can be found in the tips tab. There may be some discovery quests you can't complete because you didn't find the brick build or the item in another biome. As a general rule of thumb, DISCOVER EVERYTHING! You never know when you'll need it. When you discover, you'll have to buy it to actually make a copy of it. However, you don't need to buy it unless you need it. In other words, it's free to discover inanimate objects. We'll save the timely side achievements for later after we reached 100 gold bricks to make it easier to find biomes.

Alright, let's go.

Start a new game and a new adventure. Then successfully land in your first world with no parachute (you'll never have a parachute) to unlock your first achievement. 70 to go.

You'll then be walking through the game tutorial. I'll let the game do the honors. One of your 3 first gold bricks you'll receive here will be someone asking to get some pigs and chickens into their area. You can copy them both nearby without feeding them anything. Afterward, make a copy of a pig outside of the stable and chase and hop onto it to get

Now, this part is where everyone's voyage will be different. Keep a lookout for the items and animals in each biome. And continue to DISCOVER EVERYTHING, while opening a few chests from here to there. When you reach 80 you can utilize coordinates to locate certain biomes and areas, and when you reach 100 bricks, you'll be able to create worlds based on the biomes you unlocked, and size it from small, medium, large, and huge. Until you reach 80 bricks, your only way to get gold bricks is to make random worlds. So you need to randomly make worlds for 70 gold bricks. You may need to delete some later.

*Keep in mind you can only access small worlds until you get more than gold bricks. 25 gets you medium-sized worlds, 50 unlocks large worlds, and 80 unlocks huge worlds. Also, the bigger the random worlds get the more biomes that are thrown in. The random worlds that pop up for you will not have a large number of gold bricks possible to obtain, so I'd look for a rough maximum of 4-5 gold bricks at every small place you go. Aim for 5-10 for medium, 10-15 for large, and "a bunch" at huge. I obtained about 40 on my first huge world alone.

Around the map, you'll randomly see a blue blimp on the map at night. That's the Night Trader, as seen on the tips tab. Buying one item from her gets you:

Bartering, Banter and Balloons! in LEGO Worlds
Buy something from the night Trader
  • Unlocked by 11,216 tracked gamers (55% - TA Ratio = 1.34) 20,448

You'll also randomly see your first troublemaker. They are green with a rugged exterior always holding an item in their hands. Chase after him to get his rare item in his hand, and tackle him with cn_B. That should get you:

Troublemaker Takedown in LEGO Worlds
Catch a Troublemaker
  • Unlocked by 12,990 tracked gamers (64% - TA Ratio = 1.25) 20,448

And finally, you'll find chests everywhere, so you don't always need to open every single one you see. But this is going to eventually be your sole option of finding rare, miscellaneous items, definitely including the elusive brick pieces, and brick builds. They have so many good items that you'll definitely need later on. Oh, and you'll also get this for opening your first one.

It's Dangerous To Go Alone! in LEGO Worlds
Find an item in a chest

Also, when you reach 15 gold bricks, you'll get the Camera, and be able to complete those quest types that require the use of a camera. When you find a quest that requests a picture, when you attempt to take it, take it when they get into a pose, (they all get into a pose when you aim a camera at them) and you'll receive:

5 more gold bricks (20 total) gets you:

Rank - Finder Builder! in LEGO Worlds

  • Unlocked by 8,550 tracked gamers (42% - TA Ratio = 1.54) 20,448

You'll also unlock the lantern at 20 bricks. It's efficient to light up caves if necessary. You can also equip it and then equip another usable item, and the lantern will simply be put on your side, out and visible, so you basically "travel light." Get it?

5 more random gold bricks will get you to 25, unlocking:

Rank - Traveller Builder! in LEGO Worlds
Collect 25 Gold Bricks
  • Unlocked by 7,685 tracked gamers (38% - TA Ratio = 1.62) 20,448

You also unlock medium size worlds so you can do more exploring in biomes and the Sky Spinner. The Sky Spinner fast-forwards time, so if you're waiting for night or day for too long, utilize the Sky Spinner.

Earning 5 more gold bricks (30 total) gets you the grapple gun and:

Rank - Navigator Builder! in LEGO Worlds
Collect 30 Gold Bricks
  • Unlocked by 6,844 tracked gamers (33% - TA Ratio = 1.72) 20,448

The grapple gun is very efficient at scaling buildings and obstacles, so it's useful while exploring. There's also one achievement tied to it, obtainable by grappling and staying in the air for at least 10 consecutive seconds. That means you need to begin grappling, and while you're grappling, grapple to another item, preferably a tall item, then another one, until you pass 10 seconds in the air of consecutive grappling. There are a few ways to get this. You can make your own towers and grapple between them. I found a forest with a lot of trees and just grappled between the trees. If you need more of a visual explanation, look no further... well, look further so you can see how.

Pulling the grappling off will award you:

10 more gold bricks (40 total) gets you the Block Gun and:

The block gun makes an impenetrable cubed brick wherever you put it. I have never used this, and it's not needed for any achievements.

Stealing 10 more gold bricks (50 total) marks the halfway point of gold bricks, unlocks large worlds, and:

Rank - Adventurer Builder! in LEGO Worlds

  • Unlocked by 5,047 tracked gamers (25% - TA Ratio = 2.01) 20,448

Continuing on the gold brick hunt, reach 65 to unlock:

Rank - Advanced Builder! in LEGO Worlds
Collect 65 Gold Bricks
  • Unlocked by 4,215 tracked gamers (21% - TA Ratio = 2.19) 20,448

At 65 gold bricks, you unlock the jetpack. This honestly was of no use to me since I already copied helicopters, which renders this obsolete since it's not as fast to get from A to B, but if you like it, enjoy it!

Finding 15 more gold bricks from other characters that never tell you where they found their gold bricks will get you to 80 gold bricks, unlocking huge worlds, the ability to find a world via coordinates, and:

Rank - Expert Builder! in LEGO Worlds
Collect 80 Gold Bricks
  • Unlocked by 3,428 tracked gamers (17% - TA Ratio = 2.43) 20,448

Let's talk about huge worlds quickly. First off, you'll find towns and dungeons in huge worlds.

Town: Designated by a purple house on the map. It's basically an area with a lot of houses. They contain gold brick opportunities as well. Some towns contain cars everywhere and others can be more "westernized" in cowboy style. Stepping through your first town awards you:

Civilisation! in LEGO Worlds
Find and walk around a Town
  • Unlocked by 5,862 tracked gamers (29% - TA Ratio = 1.86) 20,448

*If you are super lucky to find

Image 1
in the towns that have cars everywhere, COPY IT AND DISCOVER IT. That's the rarest vehicle you'll need to obtain for the Terraforming achievement I'll talk about later.

Dungeon: Designated by a red and black symbol on the map. Dungeons are dark places with a small tower and an underground system full of fire traps and lava. Stepping through your first one grants you:

Dark, Dank and Dangerous in LEGO Worlds
Find a Dungeon
  • Unlocked by 4,777 tracked gamers (23% - TA Ratio = 2.06) 20,448

*You'll see an item called a Torch Pole on the sides and corners throughout a dungeon. Definitely copy that; you'll need it to help unlock the Dragon Wizard later (unless you're super fortunate to have a friend that has dragons unlocked).

Also, while you're down in the dungeon, make sure you buy a heart from the Night Trader to have 4 total. If you have more, it's fine. An achievement requires you to bounce on lava 7 times consecutively. Stepping into the lava takes half a heart every time, and you jump up from the burn. You won't survive if you haven't got your health to at least 4 hearts. If you have, feel free to jump into the lava 7 times. As 3.5 hearts go away from bounce to bounce, you'll get:

Hopping Hot and High in LEGO Worlds
Bounce on Lava 7 times consecutively
  • Unlocked by 5,602 tracked gamers (27% - TA Ratio = 1.90) 20,448

*You can also go to the Wicked Wasteland biome to find lava.

You'll also begin to find legendary maps only found in chests, showing the coordinates to a legendary brick. But let's make this a little easier. Below are coordinates leading to all the 15 legendary bricks. Let's touch on coordinates first.

Looking at your map on the top right side, face the white arrow (the only pointy part on your circle map). Looking at the arrow,

(+ = Positive and - = negative)
+Z = go toward the arrow
-Z = go away from the arrow
+X = facing arrow, go right
-X = facing arrow, go left
+Y = go up
-Y = go down

After I got the hang of it, I only used the X and Z coordinates so I can get to where the brick is located. At that point, you will either see the brick, or you'll have to go up or down to get it. And yes, there are some gold bricks in the clouds and some underwater. I recommend you unlock the Skeleton since they can breathe underwater. You probably already discovered a skeleton, haven't you?

The coordinates you see are also the name of the place you're searching. So when you look up the world, type the coordinate exactly how you see it. The letters are always lowercase, but a capital X will always be on the right side designating the galactic zone. When you get there, use the same exact coordinates to find your way to the legendary brick.

Go to your rocket and press cn_Y to get in. Press cn_X and go to the option "Create World." When there, there are 2 options, the size on the left and the biomes on the right. Press cn_RB to see all the biomes you've unlocked. Then, use the video below and find the biomes you may be missing.

Now go to the edge of any world where you see outer space. Fall into outer space (to your apparent death). When you spawn, move your character to fall into outer space again. What you just did was:

Now fall down to outer space again, but this time, catch yourself halfway. Now climb back up the very big wall, and granted you're climbing for 15 seconds at least, you'll get:

Proficient Parkour Prowess in LEGO Worlds
15 seconds of consecutive climbing, jumping or back-flipping

You should have found squirrels already as well. Do you have 5 nuts? (Food that tames a squirrel) If not, let's discover a tree stump found in forest areas (and usually in the same biomes squirrels are in) and make a few copies of it to get some. Now build a small square/rectangular area again if you blew up the last one, or make a new one. Spawn one squirrel using the discovery tool and feed it a nut. Spawn a second squirrel and feed it another nut. You'll have 2 tamed pets following you, which earns you:

Champion of Companions in LEGO Worlds

Land Shark! in LEGO Worlds
Ride a Shark on land
  • Unlocked by 5,664 tracked gamers (28% - TA Ratio = 1.89) 20,448

Now let's make another closed-off wall, but this time, make 4 total closed off areas together. The reason is, whatever animals you choose to spawn may attack one animal. Spawn 4 rideable animals, one in each pod-like area. I chose a gorilla, pig, bear, and a sheep, but there are many other rideable animals (too many to list!) Jump on their backs in under 60 seconds to unlock:

Creature Comforts in LEGO Worlds
Ride 4 different creatures within 60 seconds
  • Unlocked by 3,369 tracked gamers (16% - TA Ratio = 2.46) 20,448

You may have found a paintball gun during your gameplay. If not, keep searching in random chests. When you have a paintball gun. Go to the very first world, Pirate Playground. Play the trumpet to an Elephant
  • Unlocked by 2,026 tracked gamers (10% - TA Ratio = 3.17) 20,448

We're getting into the longer achievements now.

If you followed the tips tab, you should have found almost all of the vehicles (Arctic Snow Plough, Articulated Digger, Drillex's Driller, Small Digger, Road Roller, Thunder Driller, Cole's Earth Driller, Creator Lawnmower).

They are the ones needed for the achievement since they can change the landscape with their unique ability cn_X. The only small issue you'll have is finding the Creator Lawnmower. It is supposed to be found in Creator Towns. HOWEVER, apparently, it is invisible. Let's find a Creator Town in Merry Meadows biome. Find a house there with a red top, swimming pool in the backyard, a barbecue, and a post office (it's just a red mailbox). The Creator Lawnmower will always spawn at the same place. Go in between the barbecue and post office and go right a couple steps, opposite the swimming pool, until you get past the white wall the barbecue is next to. Move around in that area, in a small circle, until it shows its face. Then, BOOM! Unlocked! The other way to do it is you need the brick build called LEGO Creator: Changing Seasons 31038 and making that brick build will spawn the same exact house you're dealing with, only this time there will visibly be a lawnmower on the side.

When all of them are found and you've changed the terrain in all of those vehicles by getting in them, pressing cn_X, and watching the terrain change as you move forward, you will proudly unlock:

Tremendous Vehicular Terraformer in LEGO Worlds
Use the terraforming abilities of all capable vehicles
  • Unlocked by 1,374 tracked gamers (7% - TA Ratio = 3.85) 20,448

This next achievement requires you to play all the musical note bricks within 10 seconds. It's super easy if you have the brick build called Giant Piano Keyboard. But you can also paint the notes when you unlock them. This painting portion is very tricky because the paint isn't necessarily helpful. You can change the size of the paint before you place it. But it can splash and hit other portions you don't want it to. I built a grid of 24 medium-size rectangles with the paint music notes and put one of each musical note in each, hoping it didn't spill over into the one next to it. Then I removed all the rectangles, leaving me with just the 24 on the ground.

Whichever way you choose is all you. Keep in mind you need to run over all the notes in 10 seconds or less. So speed and accuracy are key. Running over every note in 10 seconds or less will award you:

Full Scale Musical in LEGO Worlds
Play all the musical note bricks within 10 seconds
  • Unlocked by 916 tracked gamers (4% - TA Ratio = 4.71) 20,448

Okay, I literally cross my fingers. I hope you have a friend that has unlocked dragons. If so, you will have a VERY easy time getting this. If not, read on.

There is a series of quests to unlock the dragon. But before you attempt any quest, you need to have the following to be able to finish the entire questline:

Discoveries:

Red Snake (Wicked Wasteland).
Red Frog (Rowdy Rainforest, Whispering Woodland, Weird Woods, Fungus Forest, Lawless Lagoon).
Dance Mat (I found mine in the clouds where small castles are - use the seed Eta-Frost-123, X Galactic Zone (go to coordinates X0 Y59 Z21, it's literally right above where you spawn).
Cave Mushroom, found in Underground Caves:

Green Cave Mushroom, found in Underground Caves:

Cauldron, found in Weird Woods:

Torch Pole (Dungeons).
Cupcake 5 Brick Build (Randomly found in chests).

Inventory:

Yellow Gem, found in Crystal Crags, break a gem boulder:

Image 2

Red Jewel, found in Crystal Crags, break a jewel crate:
Image 3

Doughnut found in Classic Space biome (DLC) by breaking a donut box (only place I found one). From where the rocket lands, head toward the white arrow on the map until you get to a small building. It has about 3 donut boxes on the floor. (If you managed to discover a doughnut box in non-DLC, break it. I know I found mine in non-DLC but forgot where).
Pumpkin Heads QTY 2 (Weird Woods, break a Pumpkin Fence or Spooky Pumpkin Head. Or if you have Monsters Pack DLC, break a Pumpkin Pile).
Orange Crystal (Crystal Crags, break a Crystal Tree).
Drumstick (Whispering Woodland HUGE biome, huge so you can find a Town. I found a Turkey Roast in a light silver building, and they contain drumsticks when broke).
*Keep in mind that the Night Trader should randomly sell all the inventory items that are needed. You should also use fixed areas to shorten the search.

-

Head to the seed 163-193-103D (Coordinates x: -59, y: 27, z: 26) where the Spooky Girl awaits to start the quest line after you found everything.

After you complete all her requested quests, go to Crystal Crags, find a Jewel Thief (holding a big tooth) and trade the Red Crystal you just received for the Dino Tooth.

Next, go to Rowdy Rainforest, find the Dino Tracker (holding a blue pistol, a.k.a. water pistol), and trade the Dino Tooth for a Water Pistol.

Then, travel to Curious Canyon, find a Fisherman (holding an egg), and trade the Water Pistol for the Dragon Egg.

And for the last portion of Part 1, go to Wicked Wasteland and you'll see Dragon Wizards. If you get super lucky, you can give the Dragon Egg to him before he kills you. But since that's extremely hard, you have to defeat a Dragon Wizard to the point where it's dazed and confused on the ground, and then give him your Dragon Egg to discover them. To defeat them, have a Crystal weapon or explosive handy. When you finally succeed, Good Job!

If you're still lucky, you chose a Wicked Wasteland biome that has a Dragon Wizard that is standing on a small shrine, dedicated to summoning dragons. If you find one, he won't offer a quest until you discover the Dragon Wizard.

When he finally offers the quest, you should have the remaining items listed above required to finish all his crazy-but-somehow-logical-in-his-head requests. The second you build a dragon's favorite food, which happens to be a specific cupcake, dragons will finally be able to spawn. Luckily for you, the Fire Dragon, 1 of 7 types, spawns in the Wicked Wasteland, and it shouldn't take you long to find one when you build the cupcake. So when you find one, use your newly earned Crystal Scimitar to defeat the Dragon, or use any other effective weapon. I'd definitely recommend the Crystal Bow if you randomly unlocked one. Feed it a drumstick to discover it, and pay the super cheap price of 500,000 studs to unlock the dragon. (You don't need to pay for the dragon as long as you can mount the dragon) Now find an unforgiving player or plug in a 2nd controller, and destroy them with a fireball or two, or 7, or until they die, finally rewarding you:

A Well-Trained Dragon in LEGO Worlds
Blow up another player with a ridden Dragon fire ball
  • Unlocked by 729 tracked gamers (4% - TA Ratio = 5.29) 20,448

Keep your 2nd controller plugged in, or your gamer buddy still in the lobby? If you do, you should at least, at this point, still have the bagpipes and trumpet unlocked from previous missions. But you can use any other instrument as long as it's different from one another. Each of you equip a different instrument and play it next to each other to unlock:

Duet in LEGO Worlds
Duet22 (10)
Play an instrument next to another player, who's playing a different instrument

Now let's get you the dreaded billion studs. Previous LEGO games had red bricks to unlock as multipliers. But no multipliers to find here, unfortunately. How I got it is one of the most efficient ways to go about it. I turned on my 2nd controller and spawned a Drillex's Driller. I discovered a safety deposit box (either found in banks in towns or the Brick Build Bank) and spawned 8 copies in a 2x4 setup with the discovery tool. I then saved the game and continued. I copied the 8 safety deposit boxes as the 2nd controller, with the copy tool (make sure you get at least one portion of brick to copy it; I used the bottom brick that it was sitting on), and my primary controller got into the driller and started it up. The 2nd controller puts the entire copied setup to the vehicle, overlapping the drill part. Then we take off! The 2nd controller starts to constantly make copies. But you have to be at a certain pace. DON'T MAKE TOO MANY COPIES in one instance, or you'll slow up the game for sure, or freeze it. I'd save after every 50 million. Every copy of the 8 will immediately be banked by the 1st player since the 1st player broke the boxes while in the vehicle. Each copy is slightly over 100,000, which means you need to hit the cn_A button roughly no more than 10,000 times to reach a billion. In this way, you can get 100,000,000 in no longer than an hour, which means a billion in under 10 hours of consistent copying if you get the right tempo going. I waited until my controller stopped vibrating and then made another copy.

Doing the first copy will get you:

Ravenous Stud Collector in LEGO Worlds
Collect 60,000+ studs in a single streak (no more than a 2 second gap between each stud collected)
  • Unlocked by 5,066 tracked gamers (25% - TA Ratio = 2.00) 20,448

And after almost 80,000 total safety deposit boxes get copied and obliterated, breathe a sigh of relief that this one popped!

Billionaire! in LEGO Worlds

And our last achievement, the dreaded 192 bricks in the first 4 pages. By now, you should have the hang of it and probably, already ran the Night Trader and Troublemaker dry with items to the point where they don't have anything you need any more. Which means your last bricks are obtained by the random chests. Popular areas to go for bricks are Frosty Forest, Fungus Forest, or other forest biomes. I also found a lot in Weird Woods scattered in houses. So don't give up on your quest to locate all the bricks! Use the flatten tool through the landscape tool (choose the landscape tool and presscn_Y and hit cn_RB twice to select the option of flatten, and find an area that has a few bricks. Go deep with the flatten and 90% of the time all the bricks you get lower than will get lower when you get below them, and then you'll have a nice area of bricks right next to each other. Eventually, you'll unlock the last achievement through scouring every chest you find!! Congratulations!!

Designer's Delight in LEGO Worlds

Which makes this a completed base game! I'll see you on the Moon!
