ACT VII - Farewell Jimmy - Winding Path
In this act you'll finally be able to earn your Rooster Sentry achievement. Right as the Act starts you are being attacked by bombs from above on a castle pathway. Defeat the archer and any enemies in you way while moving forward. It's probably easier to just push the enemies here off the ledge. Avoid any bombs that fall in your way while defeating all the clown enemies and then head forward. After you pass a checkpoint you'll be met with a cutscene and a quick Boss fight:
Boss Fight - Captain Ugh
At this point you should be fully capable of dealing with these type of fights. Simply focus on defeating Captain Ugh with counters and super moves and this fight will be a cakewalk. If you've been avoiding the usage of Finishers up to this point you should have definitely already unlocked:
Defeat 100 enemies without using a finisher
After the fight head forward and you can now complete the remaining parts of the Rooster Sentry-related achievements. There are 2 Rooster Sentries up ahead. You can choose to sneak past them (Foxdog) or destroy both of them (Rooster Retribution) depending on which achievement you are going for. Depending on whether you snuck by all 11 sentries or destroyed them all from ACT V and up to this point you will respectively earn:
Complete every act without triggering any rooster alarms
Whichever of the 2 achievements you did not get, you can simply go for while playing on Easy (or any other) difficulty later.
Continue to move forward and the hidden treasure chest for the act can be seen directly ahead of you. Then a cutscene will trigger where the chest will be blocked off by a giant rock thanks to some clown enemies (what a tease!). Go left and head down the hill to an Outhouse section fight. Defeat all the enemies and head up the ramp and past the platforms. After jumping up some trap doors there'll be an archer waiting for you at the top. Take him out and then turn right. Take this path to a dead end yielding the treasure chest seen from earlier:
[Treasure Chest 7/8]: Head towards the dead end where the chest is located only to get ambushed by some enemies. You will need to defeat them all before opening this chest.
Head back the way you came and turn right. There will be a mine-in-the-box section straight ahead. Use your hammer throw to knock the clown archers into the mine traps. Try to defeat all the enemies in this section so that they don't disrupt you when going for the next upcoming achievement Eavesdropper. Once you pass the mine section and walk forward a cutscene will trigger here of the clowns mourning for their friend Jimmy at his gravesite. You can now earn 2 achievements in this section.
After the cutscene DO NOT move forward. Just sit there, stand still, and wait. More dialogue will continue among the mourning clowns. Wait for all the sad eulogies to pass and after a while you will unlock:
After the achievement pops, engage the enemy clowns and defeat them all while destroying the nearby outhouse. You can now access the hidden Easter Egg Island of the game. To find it, jump on top of Jimmy's grave tomb repeatedly until it shatters and breaks with you falling through. MasterHouze has provided a video clip of this being done:
Right as you fall through the grave and get a loading screen for being transported to the island, you will unlock:
This is the hidden Easter Egg Island! It acts as a gallery of sorts for players to view exhibition of the game's artwork and content. Feel free to explore the island for it's various gags and pop culture references. When you are ready to leave, simply take the path up the stairs pass the stage to finish the act.
