You will obviously start this episode where the previous one left off. (Jesse fell down a hole). Start by following the orange line, optionally checking out all kinds of stuff on your way. You will be introduced to a prison. Very shortly after, Jack will appear and you will attempt to escape. You will encounter all kind of creatures on your way. Simply follow the QTE's which appear every now and then. Eventually, you will get to know the real size of the maze and one of the golem guards will take you back to the prison.
You will have a conversation with the warden of the Sunshine institute (the prison). You will get the choice of either working for the warden as an associate, or deny his proposal and say "I'll never join you!".
If you join the warden, the following will happen:
On the right, a guy will ask you to make a mushroom. Just place some blocks and say that it is finished. Talk to Anthony to gain some cocoa beans. Then to Oxblood to gain wheat. A Guest will attack you, after which the warden will come in. If you play it well, the guy will be send down a level and you will be praised for your behavior.
Walk to the left of the screen towards the crafting table. After hearing the admin, craft a cookie by placing the cocoa bean in the center spot, and the wheat to the left and right of it. Then give Radar his cookie. He'll transform into a new guy.
If you decided not to join the warden:
On the right, a guy will ask you to make a mushroom. Just place some blocks and say that it is finished. Talk to Anthony to gain a bow. Then to Brick (left) to learn about the Mushrooms and how to get them. Walk all the way towards the screen and use the center pit. Follow the QTE to acquire a red and a regular mushroom. Then go to the crafting table on the left and craft a stew. A Guest will attack you, after which the warden will come in. If you play it well, the guy will be send down a level and you will be praised for your behavior.
Walk to the left of the screen towards the crafting table. After hearing the admin, craft a stew by placing the bowl at the center bottom spot, the red mushroom on the left middle and the regular mushroom in the middle. Then give Radar the stew. He'll transform into a new guy.
The alarm will sound saying prisoner X has escaped, who apparently knows a way through the maze. Open Oxblood's cell. Listen at the wall in the back, and then open the secret door. Punch the painting on the right to reveal buttons. The combination that worked for me was 2, 1, 3, though this might be different for you. You'll encounter Oxblood, after which the warden comes in. You get to choose between either shearing the cow or not shearing him.
Depending on this choice you either make the warden or Oxblood angry. Shearing the cow will get you a promotion. Either way, you will get send down a level.
Once you are sent down, head to the back and investigate the hole in the wall and the door to Prisoner X's cell. Your friends will join you on the lower level.
You will need to acquire the stuff from Stella to make a lever. Get over to her and acquire the items. Then make a lever. You will need to fight some zombies (I killed 4), before you can place the lever and open the door. You will open the door and get to know Prisoner X.... Xara (thanks for pointing this out). The admin will show up and challenge you and Petra to fight oneanother. Petra or Jack (Depending on choices in Episode 2) will come will come in a plan during the fight, to kill the admin. It will fail. The admin is not amused, and he will reveal his new plan. He will transform into Jesse and make new friends, in Beacontown.
You will need to ascend into the place to find the real prisoner X. Follow the QTE's as prompted when you jump down. Once you reach the bottom, you meet Prisoner X and you will discuss your escape. At the end, you either need to leave Nurm or the llama behind. After that's done, the achievement will pop.
You' ll meet up with Jack and the rest of the team. Since the warden's been fired, the whole place is a mess. Grab either the iron enchanted sword or the diamond sword from the armory. After, you'll encounter a lot of enemies to fight. First, a large group of zombies, spiders and creepers. Afterwards a large super ghast with a large number of regular ghasts. Keep slaying the fireballs back at the ghasts to damage/kill them. Eventually, take down the super ghast. You get an option afterwards to help Xara or to let her handle her own stuff. After that's finished, the achievement will pop.
This last chapter is very short. You will keep running and find a tower. There is a discussion of whether to keep trying the maze or to enter the tower. You'll be asked to help open the door. After entering the tower, the achievement will pop and episode 3 is finished.
