When a game comes for free, I download it. It doesn't matter if I am never going to play it again, WTH, it was free! But this one was a hit, with me at least. There are a few minor annoyances, but all in all, it's a good game.

    GRAPHICS 5/5
The graphics were actually very beautiful. The orange monsters are "cute", actually. And they have such a pompous walk :D The princess looks like a smaller Barbie doll with a crown and a dollop of lipstick and rouge all over her cheeks. The ghosts / ghouls are of those white bedsheet variety and can pass through fireballs - well, at times at least. There are small "pouches" that have surprises inside them ... from points to power-ups to monsters. The water monster is just like a gigantic drop of angry water. And then you have werewolves, vampire bats that come from nowhere, green spiders that are "fast and furry" and green versions of the orange monsters that come out at night :D

    GAMEPLAY 2.5/5
The gameplay is intuitive enough. Throw fireballs and kill monsters. Some monsters require more hits than the others. And that's where the intuitiveness ends. Not the fun though.
There's a level of the day that gets reset every midnight. The orbs you get there don't really count to your final score, but it probably adds to the milionaire achievement.

A gold rush level is available every six hours for playing. These change every week, on Sunday, as per comments I have seen. Do correct me if I am wrong. This particular has an advantage of sometimes being very generous in its coin dropping and multiplier, thus getting you more coins to haul (the best one seems to be for 3rd June 2013, hauling 10k coins on an average with the 2x coins upgrade purchased, credit to K4rn4ge)
No story dictates the flow. Each set contains a random amount of levels with the lowest being set 2 with 4 levels and the last set containing 8 levels.
The help section is incomplete and it lacks certain key characters. It also gives no advice on how to best kill the monsters.
The upgrades aren't very helpful as they can never get you past the water monster which burns down even the largest fireball!
The leader boards take a lot of time to load. There have been occassions where I have waited for ten minutes while the screen kept showing "Please Wait".
Powerups are too costly. Each extra powerup increases in cost. For example, the first firewall costs 200, the second 1000 and the third 2000 coins. Why couldn't they cost the same? And why am I restricted to just three? Firewaves are restricted to two and cost 800 for the first and 1600 for the second. Ridiculous, in my opinion!

Here's a short round up on how to best kill the monsters:
Orange - Regular, any size fireballs would kill them pronto.
Orange w/ skulls - Requires two hits; first removes the skull armor, the next kills
Water - Kills fireball on being hit. Use smallest size as big ones are a waste
Pouches - Optional, you won't lose a life if you let it live
Princess - Do not kill her. Save her
Bombs - Kills everyone in the row and column. You won't lose a life if you let it live.
Green Spider - Are only fast, so need faster reflexes. One hit kills
Green Monster - In the last level, same like orange, different color
Werewolf - When light brown, killed in one hit; when dark brown requires two hits.
However, if you miss hitting the werewolf the second time after it goes light brown, will become dark brown again and then will require two hits again.
Vampire Bats - Appear out of nowhere and aim for your hearts. If left too long keep "eating" your heart. Require one hit, as soon as they come to minimize damage.
Ghosts / Ghouls - Materialize and dematerialize. Hit them when they are opaque. One hit, but tricky. Some levels have them changing faster.

    SOUNDS 4/5
The sounds are cute. The princess cries for help, giving you warning she is coming. A kind of female robot voice tells you what power-up just came. The only funny one was when the fireball hit the water monster; it gave a "slosh" sound. I kinda expected it to sizzle as the water would turn to steam, but that is just my opinion. Sound control options are unavailable; not even one to mute the sounds!

    OVERALL 3.5 / 5
The unexplained game-play, a bad help section, forever loading leader boards, and the missing sound control options are, as I said earlier, just minor annoyances, though I did expect a little more from a publisher like Ubisoft. Enjoy playing the game, nevertheless. Once you overcome the minor irritations, the game looks golden and fun :D

UltimusOI wish someone could let me know why they gave the review a negative. I could improve on it then.
