Hello my homies, this is my 1st review for a game ever! So I thought I would start off with one of my favourite games.

    Fact Time

Well, New Rally-X is a maze arcade game that was orignally released by Namco in 1981 but came out to Xbox live arcade on December 27, 2006.

    Single Player:

Well where do I start... Your a cool blue boy racer and you are bored so you go round collecting flags, and after each stage there are more red police like guys trying to stop you, and there's many of dead ends in the game as you progress inwards to the game.

This game works the same as Pac-Man, if you finsh the level and lose all your lifes you can select the level you were on.

    Single player score 7/10

    The achievements woo

Well the achievements are just how I like my woman nice and easy wink These achievements are no challenge at all and can be done within half an hour or less with pretty much no skill netting you a tasty 200g.

    Achievements 8/10

    Sound/Graphics

The graphics are no way to, today standerds but they fit quite well within the game.

Sound, well personally I found it very ear pleasing, quite a nice happy raceie tune.

    Sound 8.5/10
    Graphics 6/10

    Multiplayer:

Sadly there's not any multiplayer in this game, I would of thought it would of been a great idea and could work pretty well as competitive muti-player.

    Final thoughts:

Well for 400msp this is a great classic and can't really go wrong with it, and as a added bonus for little work you are sure to get a nice 200g.

I hope you enjoy my 1st review people, please comment any constructive criticism will be helpful thxs. toast

Just going to give a quick run down of this game as it is quite straight forward.

I'll start out with game play. You are a little blue race car who is out to collect flags on a maze like track policed by several cars. These cars chase you in an attempt to impede your progress toward collecting flags and advancing through the game. The game gets progressively harder as you move through the levels. You'll encounter more enemy cars and more obstacles. I would rate the gameplay a 4/10 given the fact that there is little replay value and it is quite repetitive.

As far as achievements go it's pretty simple. If you fail you can start on the highest level you've reached which removes quite a bit of frustration from the equation. This is especially helpful for the achievement which requires you to reach a certain level without ever being killed.

As far as graphics and sound go it's an old school game remade for the 360 so the graphics are primitive and the sound is quite basic. Also want to add a heads up to any old school plasma tv users, there is a permanent still image surrounding the race track the entire time you play. Just something to consider.

In closing this is a decent, cheap little game which will undoubtably net you a quick 200g along with a bit of fun while your at it.

    New Rally-X

You drive a car around a maze, attempting to collect all of the level's flags while avoiding large rocks and red racecars that attempt to catch you. If they get too close, the 5 key lays out a smoke screen that throws off the chase cars. Your fuel gauge acts as a timer for each level, and using smoke screen drains the gauge more quickly. Every third race is a challenge race that puts you in a faster-moving car with the task of quickly collecting all flags before the opposition wakes up to give chase.

The game speed feels right, though the control isn't very sensitive, making it too easy to miss turns. That, combined with a current lack of serious competition on the leaderboard, makes New Rally-X a game you should approach with caution.

    9/10 For Achievements
    4/10 For Fun
Tricky but overall easy 200 Gamerscore, Well worth the 400 msp from a Gamerscore point of view.
30-60 Minutes for the full 200 Gamerscore

    Have fun gamers
