Players can now try the first six levels of colorful ID@Xbox title Octahedron for free with a new Xbox One demo. Along with the availability of the demo, one-man studio Demimonde released a patch for the game.

Courtesy of the game's latest trailer, one-man developer Demimonde has announced a release date for his debut title, Octahedron. The vertical-focused fast-paced psychedelic platformer will be with us in March.

Demimonde's upcoming title adds a bit of a twist to the platformer genre. While the levels do indeed contain all of the expected traps and enemies, it's up to you to place the platforms that will get you to the end.

Indie publisher Square Enix Collective has picked up Octahedron, a "psychedelic adventure" from developer Demimonde. Instead of sideways, things proceed vertically. The goal? Get the heck out of Veetragoul!
