Developer Harmonix has made a Rock Band 4 DLC expansion permanently free to celebrate the game's seventh anniversary. The Rock Band Rivals expansion is now listed as free on the Xbox Store and is available to claim.

Harmonix has now joined Epic Games to work together on "musical journeys and gameplay" for Fortnite, although Harmonix adds that it will continue with Rock Band DLC and Fuser events as normal.

Harmonix recently announced that they will be adding a new Rock Band 4 feature called "Missions". "Missions" will play out in every Rock Band 4 mode, difficulty, instruments, and songs.

It's never good news when content has to be removed from the Marketplace, but it's nice when developers at least give advance notice. The Dance Central games, Rock Band 3 and Rock Band 4 are all having one track removed.
