    Rock Band Metal Track Pack

This is one of Rockband's various disc track packs that they release. Each track pack comes with a bunch of songs that you can download individually in the rockband music store and a few exclusives.

    Graphics: 7/10
This game has the EXACT same look and interface as rockband 1. And incase you don't know what the Rockband interface looks like I will describe it. You have the 5 coloured gems that scroll down the highway. You have the strike line at the end of the highway. Youve got the Crowd Meter to the left of the highway. Just under the strike line there is the Combo Meter. There is also an Energy meter. Your score and stars are at the top right of the screen. I will go into more detail about these in the Gameplay section in the review.

    Gameplay: 8/10
With this being a Rock Band game, the gameplay does not dissapoint. You've got the 5 coloured gems scrolling down the highway. When they reach the strike line you need to hold down the coloured button on the guitar controller and strum on the strum bar when the notes pass the strike line. For each succesful note you hit, your combo meter will go up by 1. If you hit 10 notes in a row, you will get a x2 multiplier. If you continue to hit more notes, you will accumulate a note streak. When you get a 30 note streak you will get a x4 multiplier. Occasionaly you will see glowing white notes go by the screen. These are Energy Notes. In order to get the energy from them, you have to hit the entire Energy Note sequence. Once you hit the note sequence, your Energy meter will be filled by 1/4. Once the meter is 1/2 full, you can go into Overdrive. To go into overdrive, either press the back button on the guitar controller or tilt the guitar neck up. Going into overdrive will double your multiplier and make the crowd meter go up about 5 times as fast. If youare struggling to survive the song, go into overdrive to save yourself.

    Setlist: 8/10
This setlist if full of all kinds of metal. 80's metal, Nu-metal, Death metal etc. Here is a list of all the songs in the game:

"Two Weeks" by All That Remains
"Blinded by Fear" by At the Gates
    "Shockwave" by Black Tide
"Transmaniacon MC" by Blue Oyster Cult
"Waking the Demon" by Bullet for my Valentine
"Are You Dead Yet?" by Children Of Bodom
    "Thrasher" by Evile
    "I Stand Alone" by Godsmack
    "D.O.A" by The Haunted
"Master of the Universe" by Hawkwind
    "Levitate" by I Mother Earth
    "Forever" by In This Moment
"Screaming For Vengeance" by Judas Priest
    "Closer" by Lacuna Coil
"Laid to Rest" by Lamb of God
    "Killed by Death" by Motorhead
"Hair of the Dog" by Nazareth
"3's and 7's" by Queens of the Stone Age
"Bulls on Parade" by Rage against the Machine
    "Red Devil" by Yngwie Malmsteen

    Multiplayer: 9/10
This game supports Playing with guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. Rock Band is the ultimate party game with your friends.

    Xbox Live: N/A
This IS only a track pack. It seems natural that they wouldn't put online multiplayer in.

    Difficulty: 6.5/10
    Originality: 6/10
The achievements in this game are pretty straight forward. You will need 3 friends who can play with you to be able to get 250/250 in this game. You must also be good at expert drums.

    - Killer tracklist
    - Good charting
    - It's a Rock Band game

    - No online
    - Nothing new, just a track pack

    Final Thoughts:
Since you can transfer all the songs on this track pack to play in Rockband 1 and 2, this is a good game to add to your Rock Band arsenel. Even if you aren't exactly a fan of metal, you should atleast try this out. You might like it!

Metal Track Pack will be worth the money

    Graphics [7/10]
This has the exact same graphics as rock band 1 which were o.k.The graphics aren't to good for a 360 game but it won't matter since you'll probably just export the songs to rock band 2.

    Track [9/10]
I really liked all of these songs and they were all very fun. Most of them are as you can see metal but others are more rock. There will be a challenge in guitar because of thrasher and drums because of blinded by fear. The only boring one was Master Of Universe and its because its long and the drum beat stays the same. Overall its a good set of songs to add to your rock band collection.

    Story [None]
There is no story and all you will do is play all the songs.

    Achievements [5/10]
None of these achievements are hard and the only troublesome one will be passing Transmaniacon MC as a full band on hard or expert. I have my little brother a friend who are good expert guitar players and i played vocals and drums.

Overall, this game should be something you get easy gamer score and good songs to add to your rock band 2 set list so you can forget about this game or try returning it to gamestop.
