Rogue Warrior - Walkthrough overviewUpdate notes

Hello there, this is the walkthrough for Rogue Warrior. This game is about a Navy Seal dug deep behind enemy lines in the late 1960s. Completing Rogue Warrior, as quickly as possible, will require following this walkthrough and finding a few players to boost with.

  1. A minimum of 3 playthrough's will be required as the difficulty achievements do not stack. Your first two playthrough's will just be going through the game as usual only picking up achievements by simply playing the game. These two plays should be on Regular and Veteran difficulties, so that mopping up the rest of the achievements can be done on recruit. Obviously, you can do any difficulty you like, but enemies are tougher, have more health, and are more accurate on the harder difficulties. I recommend doing Regular first, then Veteran, then Recruit.
  2. Your third play-through will be on Recruit and will be the run in which you mop up the rest of your achievements, Kill "x" amount of enemies with "x" object/weapon. This can be done many ways, either by doing said action while you playthrough, or getting to a checkpoint, do the requirements and reload your checkpoint as many times as needed.
  3. There are multiplayer achievements and while a majority of them can be done in Player (Custom) matches, a few must be done in ranked matches, where 3 other players are needed. Death match (Free-for-All) requires 4 players, guests can be used, and Team Death match only requires 2, but will require 4 for a certain achievement.

Without further ado, here's your walkthrough!

Rogue Warrior - General hints and tips

Although this can be classified under the "easy 1000" title, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't like to boost multiplayer often. Personally, because of various reasons, it took me about 5 attempts to unlock:

Smack The Rogue

Come first in 10 Ranked Deathmatch games. (Multiplayer)

Smack The Rogue

However, if you are laid back and can find a group of people to do this with, the multiplayer can be done in a few sessions.

If you have read up on this game, then you know it is quite terrible, the graphics and story aren't so great and neither is anything else, but I enjoyed it for the most part. Not Game of the Year quality, but not Jumper or CSI.

The most basic hint and tip I can give you is to not get frustrated and quit this game, if you just muscle through it and get it out of your way, you won't hate it as much. Don't leave this game on your shelf or you may not complete it for a long time!

Rogue Warrior - Story walkthrough

Here... We... Go!

Select new game from the main menu and set the difficulty to Normal. Afterwards, engage in cut scenes. Kind of a cool storyline to begin, but nothing we haven't seen. First thing I did was adjust the brightness all the way up, it gets hard to see in a few of the night missions so having it bright will help you remain undetected.

Walk up behind the first 4-5 guys and kill them using kill moves, the A button. The second enemy you meet, let him walk all the way close to the wall and press A and:

Not The Face

Smash an enemy's face into a wall. (Single Player)

Not The Face

Then kill the next few enemies with kill moves and:

Ninja

Perform 3 Kill moves in a row. (Single Player)

Ninja

Only use your pistol for the remainder of this mission! You will then breach a house and find a guard leaning on a ledge, do a kill move:

Over The Top

Throw an enemy over a ledge. (Single Player)

Over The Top

Do not die throughout this mission and only using your pistol will net you:

SNAFU

Complete mission 1 on any difficulty.

SNAFU
Dick Would Be Proud

Complete a mission without dying. (Single Player)

Dick Would Be Proud
Double Tap

Complete an entire mission using only the pistol. (Single Player)

Double Tap

Then proceed throughout the game, you may go for the achievements now or later, I suggest later, that way you will have less to do at that time. You will more than likely get a few of the numbered achievements, just look back when you are on your third play through.

Now before you go on to the next mission. You can replay the first mission all the way to when you can use the sniper first!

Then a tough one comes up.

Gang-Bang

Kill a group of 4 enemies with a grenade. (Single Player)

Gang-Bang

Kill the enemy on the ledge, snipe the three enemies then fast rope down. NOTE: You will hit a checkpoint here. Then go to the immediate right side of the statue, and as you go forward you will trigger a spawn of 4 enemies in the door, 3 will come out, one stays inside. On the right side of the statue, toss a grenade towards the middle of the doors before you trigger the spawn and keep moving forward, DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING! You will get a checkpoint and have to restart the level. If you time it right you will kill all 4 and unlock this, if you do not, then just throw a grenade at the ground and kill yourself, or reload checkpoint. Same outcome. This took me 3 tries, but it will work at some point. You will get your timing down eventually!

Completing the first few missions will get you:

KISS

Complete mission 2 on any difficulty.

KISS
GNBN

Complete mission 3 on any difficulty.

GNBN

Within Level 3, You can get 2 achievements!

Curb-Stomper

Perform 5 Finishing moves. (Single Player)

Curb-Stomper

The finishing move is when you shoot an enemy and he falls to the ground, but continues shooting, walk up to him and a button prompt will come up, hit A, and that's a finishing move. In the beginning of mission 3 you will work through a container yard, then an open area with about 4-6 enemies, then you go into a building. There will be two enemies in the hallway, what you want to do is approach them and kill one, and pump 2-3 shots into the other's chest or waist. I found the waist to be more efficient, but others have said the chest works better. Also, you want to use the pistol or the AK, I chose the pistol but both work.

Come Get Some!

Kill 5 enemies with a shotgun without reloading or changing weapons. (Single Player)

Come Get Some!

This can be achieved about halfway through the mission when you find the SPAS 12. It holds 8 rounds so you get 3 to burn, just walk up to an enemy and fire from the hip, don't worry about aiming down the sights, it's a powerful weapon. Kill 5 enemies in a row WITHOUT reloading.

PFDL

Complete mission 4 on any difficulty.

PFDL

During this mission you can unlock a tough achievement!

Military Budget

Kill 5 enemies with an assault rifle without reloading or changing weapons. (Single Player)

Military Budget

After you blow up the bridge there will come a room with 3 enemies in it, if you take cover behind the wall and lean out you can kill the first without him knowing yo are there, use quick accurate burst to eliminate these enemies. I suggest staying in cover and leaning out, and zooming in, it's way more accurate than aiming down the sights and you get a broader view. The next room will have 2 more enemies and you should use up the rest of your clip to eliminate them. If you reload or don't get it, just reload your checkpoint and try again!

FUBAR

Complete mission 5 on any difficulty.

FUBAR
HUMINT

Complete mission 6 on any difficulty.

HUMINT
KATN

Complete mission 7 on any difficulty.

KATN
DOY

Complete mission 8 on any difficulty.

DOY
Shark Man of the Delta

Complete the game on Regulars difficulty.

Shark Man of the Delta

Now the next play through should be on Veteran/Elite

Demo Dick

Complete the game on Elites difficulty.

Demo Dick

Then the third playthrough that will complete the single player campaign! I will put an achievement link and THEN explain how to get it, you can cross reference solutions to my wording if you get lost or confused. There are limited solutions for this game and just as few videos.

Getting Your Gun Off

Kill at least one enemy with every weapon in the game. (Single Player)

Getting Your Gun Off

You might have picked this up during course of play, but if you didn't here are the guns you need to get kills with,

SNAFU
SAP9- starting pistol
SM5- Starting gun
Knife- kill move
Grenade- Right bumper
AK 74- Mostly held by enemies and laying around
OTS-02- small machine gun held by a few enemies
Type 97-1- Pump action Shotgun
Dragunov- Sniper rifle
GNBN
SPAS 12- Auto Shotgun
AR 4- Automatic rifle
GM 94- Grenade launcher
FUBAR
TT 33- Pistol

Now THIS Is A Knife

Kill 30 enemies using kill moves. (Single Player)

Now THIS Is A Knife

This should be obtained either during your first playthrough or at the beginning of your second. If you do not have it then just play the first mission and play the first part all the way up to the sniper, if you don't have it then. Hit a checkpoint and restart the level.

Never Knew What Hit Them

Kill 50 unalerted enemies. (Single Player)

Never Knew What Hit Them

This should come with the Now This is a Knife achievement. Unalerted enemies are shown as green blips on your radar.

Frag Out!

Kill 20 enemies using grenades. (Single Player)

Frag Out!

Simply register 20 kills with grenades, it should be noted that if a grenade causes an explosion of a vehicle or barrel, and an enemy dies as a result of the following explosion the kills are not counted to grenades but instead to:

Improv

Kill 20 enemies using explosive objects. (Single Player)

Improv

Be aware of red barrels, crates on lifting pads, and vehicles, shoot these or throw grenades at them to cause a large explosion that will kill surrounding enemies. Always be on the lookout for trucks carrying enemies pulling up, throw a grenade at them and you should kill 2-3 enemies with the explosion.

Chop-shop

Destroy 10 vehicles. (Single Player)

Chop-shop

This should come with throwing grenades at the vehicles. Other than that just shoot at the cars and stuff when you see them.

Supressing Fire

Kill 20 enemies using blindfire. (Single Player)

Supressing Fire

When you take cover behind an object you can blind fire your weapon by just firing, kill 20 for that achievement.

Guns Don't Kill People, SEALs Do

Kill 30 enemies using sniper rifles. (Single Player)

Guns Don't Kill People, SEALs Do

Dragunovs will be lying around, when you see them, you will need it in the next few moments, with this you should try for head shots:

Migraine Breaker

Kill 50 enemies with head shots. (Single Player)

Migraine Breaker

Simple enough, head shots. You don't have to use a sniper but it's a lot easier!

Are These Guys For Real?

Kill 50 Spetznaz. (Single Player)

Are These Guys For Real?

Every so often you will run into enemies dressed in body armor, typically carrying shotguns, these are Spetsnaz, kill them as you have too anyway!

Health And Safety

Blow up 20 fire extinguishers. (Single Player)

Health And Safety

When you see a fire extinguisher, just shoot it, if you want to go to a specific spot, go to mission 7, around the midpoint. There will be a worker by a control panel, kill him and the surrounding enemies, then go around the room to find 6 extinguishers, shoot them and if it doesn't pop, reload your checkpoint.

After finishing the game you should get:

The Geek

Complete the game on Recruits difficulty.

The Geek

Thanks for your time and Good Luck with Rogue Warrior.

Rogue Warrior - Multiplayer

This game's multiplayer requires at least 4 people for certain achievements.

First, I recommend doing all the achievements in as few sessions as possible. It is at your discretion to do which achievements when and with who, obviously. I'm just going to give vague hints and the way I achieved these. NOTE: If it says ranked, it has to be in ranked, if it doesn't then you can do it in player/custom matches.

Fresh Off The Boat

Play online once. (Multiplayer)

Fresh Off The Boat

Unlocks during or after your first game online.

THREATCON

Place first in a Ranked Deathmatch game. (Multiplayer)

THREATCON
Smack The Rogue

Come first in 10 Ranked Deathmatch games. (Multiplayer)

Smack The Rogue

These two achievements can be done in 10 matches with four people. It has to be in RANKED, which is ten minutes long. The method I did was to have everyone NOT KILL ANYONE, this results in a tie for first place and everyone gets the achievement in ten game. This is opposed to one person racking up kills in one game, and then playing 40 matches to get everyone everything.

Also, You can just have everyone get the same amount of points. Knife kills are 15, gun kills are 10. This will pass the time by better and you will work on the One Man Army achievement for 200 kills. Do whichever as you wish and it's totally up to you.

POTUS

Place first in a Ranked Team Deathmatch. (Multiplayer)

POTUS
Special Warfare Group ONE

Be on the winning team for 10 Team Deathmatch games. (Multiplayer)

Special Warfare Group ONE
SEAL Team Six

Play a Team Deathmatch to completion with at least 3 friends on your team. (Multiplayer)

SEAL Team Six

The first two have the same concept as Smack the Rogue. But the third achievement will require 5 players, in player matches create a game and then switch sides to 4 on 1, then switch it around to get the other person the achievement.

Legion Of Merit

Finish each map in 1st place. (Multiplayer)

Legion Of Merit

This will naturally come as you are boosting.

Spec Warrior

Kill 3 people in a row. (Multiplayer)

Spec Warrior
Friendship Is For Suckers

Kill someone on your friends list. (Multiplayer)

Friendship Is For Suckers
Keep Your Friends Close ...

Perform a kill move on a friend. (Multiplayer)

Keep Your Friends Close ...

These are all simple to get done!

From Beyond The Grave

An enemy dies from your grenade … after you have been killed. (Multiplayer)

From Beyond The Grave

Throw a grenade at some one's feet and have them shoot you until your dead, if your grenade kills them, achievement unlocked.

One Man Army

Kill 200 enemies. (Multiplayer)

One Man Army

You and one other player get into a custom match, for one whole match have one person kill and one person run to them and die, switch every other match and you should get about 30-40 kills per match.

Decorated Veteran

Play 50 games online. (Multiplayer)

Decorated Veteran

You should net this while going for other achievements, but if not you don't need anyone else! Just create a custom match and start it, then just sit there until it completes, and make another one. This will also get you:

Host Me Up

Host a custom game to completion. (Multiplayer)

Host Me Up

If you didn't host any of the previous games.
