Shuffle Party for Win 8 is not much different from the Windows Phone version (
https://www.trueachievements.com/Shuffle-Party ). It has slightly harder achievements (
) compared to the Phone version. So for people who know the phone version and liked it, grab it if you want to play it on Win 8 also. I only played it on my tablet, so I can't comment on the desktop version (If that's even applicable).
Game wise it is a nice game; Nothing special, but what do you expect from a shuffle game? The graphics are decent and it responds pretty good to your finger. Aiming might require a bit of practise, but it's not too hard. Within a few games you should be able to shuffle strikes :). There are 5 different kind of games (Bowling, League Bowling, Challenge, Shuffleboard and Pass & Play), but only 3 which you'll play when aiming for the achievements (Bowling, Shuffleboard and Challenge). Getting the right speed in the challenges is a must, but it a bit harder in my opinion to the other skills you need. I had some problems with that, but as long as you play it enough, eventually you will get the hang of it.
For a regular trueachievements player you will have fun while it lasts and probably untill yor done grinding the last achievements. After that it won't have much replay value, but if you got kids hanging around, they will probably love the game. Its easy to understand for them, so in that case it's worth keeping around..
Out of the 10 achievements you can get, 8 are easy to get. The
will cost some time, but is doable as long as you manage the speed and aiming abilities.
is just grinding the game.
All in all, it's a pretty middle in the road game which in 5 years time you'll probably have forgotten, but easy gamerpoints to grab.
