1. The Magic Circle: Gold Edition Walkthrough overview

Welcome to the TA walkthrough for “The Magic Circle: Gold Edition”. This is a fun little 2016 first person fantasy adventure game from developers Question. You play as an anonymous protagonist, stuck in an unfinished game environment who's god-like creators are so busy arguing with each other that they barely notice the havoc you're causing in your attempt to survive. Guided by a mysterious and grumpy voice, you must take control of the game's development tools and puzzle your own way out.

All of the achievements except one can be earned in one playthrough so I have split it up into one full playthrough and one half playthrough. The first playthrough takes about 4 hours as you have to backtrack a little to find all the collectables and the second playthrough with barely any collectables will take less than 2 hours, making an overall time of approximately 6 hours to earn everything.

The game actively encourages you to mix and match abilities and methods to find new ways of solving the puzzles but what I have laid out here, is what I believe to be one of the most efficient routes through the game. It involves minimal backtracking and covers all the collectables before reaching the end section of the game. There is a 'no-return point' but you are able to revisit the main game area after the end of the game so any missed collectables can be collected then. I've covered all the collectables during the walkthrough but I will also be including a separate list with locations for those who need it.

This is a funny game which you'll either enjoy or hate. Hopefully you'll find this walkthrough helpful as you play!
