2. Story walkthrough

The walkthrough below is bulletpointed so that you can easily follow where you are in the game, so that you can get this game done as quick as possible!

Room 1:
• Open Book

The Book of Beatrice in The Tower of Beatrice
Steal the book!
  • Unlocked by 500 tracked gamers (99% - TA Ratio = 1.00) 505
• Take Key.
• Use Key on Lock
• Take Feather 1/9 from the windowsill of the right window arch.
• Take Feather 2/9 from above the elemental cupboard on the floor.
• Zoom in on the boulder with the key. Take Feather 3/9, Knife, and Bottle.
• Zoom under the table. Take Feather 4/9, and use Knife on the right-most dirt bag.
• Take Feather 5/9 from the front of the table, above the dirt bags.
• Next to the fire is a fire poker. Activate it with the cn_A button.
• Pick up the Hot Coal that went into the middle of the room.
• Zoom in on the window. Take Feather 6/9 from top left.
• Use the hot coal on the ice at the bottom right of the window.
• Take the Cold Coal, open the window, Take Feather 7/9 and Icicle.
• Zoom in on the bucket above the fire. Use the icicle on the bucket.
• Use the bottle on the water in the bucket to get Bottle of Water.
• Zoom into the shelf above the elemental cupboard. Take the second green bottle.
• Place the bottle of water onto the water element marking.
• Open the elemental cupboard. Take the Cauldron, Feather 8/9, and remember the combination: Top, Top Right, Bottom Left, Top Left, Top.
• Zoom back in on the candle-lit shelf above the element cupboard, and on the box holding the final feather, set the dials to the directions listed above.
• Take Feather 9/9.
• Zoom out, and use the empty bottle on the fire, just to the right of the bucket. You'll be able to get Hot Air.
• Put all nine feathers, the hot air, and the cold coal in the cauldron in your inventory. Use the empty bottle on the cauldron. You'll get the Levitating Potion.
• Use the Levitating Potion on the boulder with the key chained to it (left side of the room, in front of the door).
• Leave the room.

Room 2:

• Zoom in on the red 'M' and open the middle of the gear where the red 'M' is. Take Hamster Bone 1/7.
• Zoom in onto the top of the cupboard to the right. Take Hamster Bone 2/7.
• Zoom in to the bit of floor with a hole to the left of the cupboard, and take Hamster Bone 3/7.
• Zoom under the table to the left with all the green bottles. Take Wine and Gear 1/5.
• Zoom in to the tabletop above the green bottles, and take Gear 2/5 and Snuff/Tobacco.
• Zoom in to the barrel on the left wall. Take Gear 3/5 from the top wall, and Hamster Bone 4/7.
• Zoom into the barrel leaking a black substance on the right wall. Turn the tap, and use the empty green bottle (not the Wine Bottle) on the black substance to get Bottle of Dead Water.
• Zoom into the left barrel and use the Bottle of Dead Water on the plant with teeth.
• Turn the tap that the plant with teeth was on, and then use the now-empty green bottle on the white substance to get Bottle of Life Water.
• Activate the hovering statue on the left.
• Zoom into the large board with shapes on it, which is in the middle of the floor. Set the code to 9554.
• Take Hamster Bone 5/7.
• Zoom into the top of the right cupboard, and place the Snuff/Tobacco in the gear-shaped 'hob' on top of it, then press the button with a flame. Take the Cooked Tobacco.
• Zoom into the top left barrel, and use the Cooked Tobacco on the bottom rock-creature. He will spit out the statue's head. Take the Key.
• Take the Statue Head from the middle of the floor.
• Zoom in on the door, and open it with the Key. Take the Icicle. Make note of the numbers, 5-3-11-1.
• Zoom in onto the right cupboard at the door handles, and you'll see a combination lock.
• Rotate clockwise (the left option) to 5 o'clock.
• Rotate anti-clockwise (the right option) to 3 o'clock.
• Rotate clockwise (the left option) to 11 o'clock.
• Rotate anti-clockwise (the right option) to 1 o'clock.
• Open the doors.
• Take Hamster Bone 6/7.
• Take the Spiritu Ardoris Label from the back wall between the two demons. Also, take Gear 4/5.
• Give the Icicle to the snow demon, and he'll give you a Carrot.
• Back out from under the cupboard with the demons, and place the Statue Head where you placed the Snuff/Tobacco earlier. Press the flame button to see it doesn't work.
• Talk to the fire demon in the cupboard twice.
• Give the fire demon the wine. He will decline it.
• Zoom in to the green bottles, and place the Spiritu Ardoris Label onto the brown bottle. Use the wine on the newly-labeled brown bottle. Attempt to take Hamster Bone 7/7. You won't be able to.
• Give the labeled brown bottle to fire demon.
• Use the fire button on top of the cupboard, and once the statue head is melted down, use the snowflake button. It'll cool. Take the Holeless Gear.
• Zoom in to where the black poison has made a hole in the floor, and place the Holeless Gear there. When the black poison has done its work, take Gear 5/5.
• Zoom into the middle of the floor where you put in the 9554 code and use the five gears on the slot. You'll need to arrange the gears as follows, from top left to bottom right; Largest, smallest, brown, green, silver. Doing so will set the clock's chains in motion.
• Zoom under the desk with green bottles, and talk to the creature in the hole until he gives you something that looks like Sweetcorn, and take it.
• Use the sweetcorn on the hob (by using the flame button), and take the Popcorn.
• Give the popcorn to the creature, and talk to him afterward. He'll give you Hamster Bone 7/7 (the skull).
• Put all seven hamster bones in the red-cushioned box on top of the table.
• You should have two remaining items in your inventory; the frozen carrot and the Bottle of Life Water. Put both into your cauldron.
• Look at the hole in the floor. You'll notice a single kernel of popcorn there. Pick up the Popcorn Kernel, and put it into your cauldron.
• Use your empty bottle on the cauldron to get the Potion of Life.
• Use the Potion of Life on the hamster's skeleton. Take the moving skeleton and put it in the hamster wheel behind the red 'M'. You can then leave.

Room 3:

Note: Before we start this room, I'd just like to advise that whenever you zoom into anything on this room, check for any pictures on bits of paper, and interact with them when you see them. They will not be mentioned in the steps below because there's no way to track which ones you have, so if you see them, interact with them so that they disappear on-screen.

• Click on the stone casket on the table. Take the Key.
• Use the key on the door.
• Zoom in on the chalkboard, and interact with the paper, and then the chalk. Continue talking to the chalk until it bounces off.
• Zoom into the top of the table to the right. Talk to the chalk.
• Zoom into the hanging cloth on the back wall. Interact with it to see a grid behind it. Take the Watering Can on the ledge to the right.
• Zoom onto the top of the table to the right, and pour the watering can into the sink. Use the red paint dust on the water, then interact with the chalk thrice (once before he turns red, twice after).
• Go back to the chalkboard, and talk to the red chalk until he creates red figures on the white square.
• Zoom into the wooden screen on the middle of the floor. You'll be told the blue candle has burned out. Take the Blue Wax.
• Zoom into the plant under the chalkboard, and take the Wick. Keep interacting with the plant until you get a Blueberry.
• Zoom into the purple object on the floor at the back of the room to find out that it is a candlemaker. Interact with the metal rod, and then the right side of the circular segment.
• Use the blue wax on the now-open mid-section of the machine.
• Close the machine, and use the wick on the metal rod.
• Click the metal rod to lower the wick into the candle wax.
• Open the machine to take the Blue candle.
• Go back to the wooden screen and place the blue candle behind it to project a shape onto the cloth.
• Go to the chalkboard and start rotating the red figures so that they all connect together. Take the Red Chalk Key.
• Talk to the red chalk until he bounces off. Go back to the table with the paint dust, drain the red water by interacting with it, and then talk to the chalk again. He'll say he wants to be purple now.
• Use the watering can on the empty sink.
• Use the blueberry on the blue paint dust indent, then use the tool just above it to squish it into the paint.
• Put both red paint dust and blue paint dust into the water, then talk to the red chalk thrice.
• Zoom out and zoom in on the box that has an obvious red lock on it. Use the red chalk key on it, open the box, and take the Purple Screen.
• Zoom into the wooden screen, and replace the red screen with the purple screen.
• Go back to the chalkboard and talk to the purple chalk until he draws figures on the chalkboard.
• Rotate the purple chalk patterns to match the projected image on the cloth backdrop.
Note: There's a slight in-game error here. The top right part has a small line coming off of the middle of it. This line is not in the projection. The small line needs to be on the inside of the shape, not the outside, for the game to register that it's the correct solution.
• Take the Purple Chalk Key and talk to the purple chalk until he bounces off.
• Zoom into the telescope near the window, and open the window by interacting with it multiple times. Then interact with the end of the telescope facing the window, and a lens will come into view. Take the Lens.
• Put the lens in the box where you got the purple screen, and close the box.
• We have seven moves to swap the sun and moon pieces. To do this, do the following moves:
- Top right moon to the right.
- Bottom middle sun to top right.
- Top left moon to the bottom middle.
- Bottom left sun to top left.
- Top middle moon to bottom left.
- Bottom right sun to top middle.
- Moon on the far right to the bottom right.

Day/Night in The Tower of Beatrice

Turn the day into night!

• Open the box and take the Dark Lens.
• Go to the telescope and equip the dark lens to the end of the telescope, then interact with it to slide it into place.
• Zoom in on the part of the telescope where you'd look into it. Look around the area inside the telescope (this is needed to allow you to proceed).
• Zoom in on the safe on the wall (the one with the five black picture orbs), and set them to the following:
- Triangle with 'snake scales'
- Eight-blade windmill.
- Standing pillar with 3 dots with two segments at the bottom.
- Blob with hat and spear
- Round hill with dots.
• Open the safe with the handle, and use the purple chalk key on the lock.
• Take the Bottle, the Green Screen, and the drawing behind it.
• Replace the purple screen on the floor with the Green Screen.
• Talk to the purple chalk on the table, and drain the purple water.
• Zoom in on the cactus to the left of the door. Keep talking to and giving the cactus water (with the watering can) until he tells you to come back later.
• After he tells you to come back later, keep using the bottle and talking to the cactus until the flower grows. When it does, take Flower.
• Go to the paint desk, put the flower in the green paint indent, and use the tool to squish it into dust.
• Use the bottle on the sink, and then put green and red paint dust into it.
• Click the purple chalk to turn him gold. Keep talking to him until he goes to the chalkboard, and follow him over.
• Talk to the gold chalk, and once again, arrange the figures on the chalkboard to be the same as the projected image. Take the Gold Chalk Key.
• Talk to the chalk until he goes back over to the paint desk, and then follow him over.
• Use the bottle on the sink, interact with the golden chalk to get him into the sink, then use all three paints. You'll turn him black. Talk to him to take Black Chalk.
• Go back to the box where you put the lens in earlier, and place the black chalk into it, then close the lid. Use the same solution as earlier;
- Top right sun to the right.
- Bottom middle moon to top right.
- Top left sun to bottom middle.
- Bottom left moon to top left.
- Top middle sun to bottom left.
- Bottom right moon to top middle.
- Sun on the far right to the bottom right.
• Zoom out, interact with the box, take White Chalk.
• Use the white chalk on the chalkboard, and keep talking to him until he draws a white key. Take White Chalk Key.
• Use the white chalk key on the white chalk lock on the door.
• Zoom in on the canvas covering on the back wall, and return to the grid.
• Place the tree paper on row 3, column 4.
• Place the bear paper on row 1, column 2.
• Place the windmill paper on row 2, column 1.
• Place the hut paper on row 3, column 2.
• Place the mountain paper on row 2, column 4.
• Place the wind paper on row 1, column 5. If you're confused as to which paper this is, it's the only one in a more blue-colour ink.
• Place the creature paper on row 3, column 5. This paper kind of looks like a burnt tree with two long slits for eyes.
• A red 'X' will appear. Interact with it to find a yellow chalk lock. Use the yellow chalk key on it.
• Go back to the paint desk, and interact with the thing to the left of the desk that has 7 circles on it. Interact with the circles in the following order: Top, 2nd left, 1st left, bottom right, bottom left, 2nd right, 1st right.
• Back out, interact with it, to find a key. Take Key.
• Use the key on the door, and leave the room.

Note: For me, this achievement didn't pop. If it doesn't pop for you, before doing anything else, after loading up the next room, completely close the game, and reload it. Click 'Continue' on the main menu. This'll start you in the next room, and should force-pop the achievement.

Room 4:

• Take Shard #1 in front of the giant snowball.
• Zoom in to the table on the right. Take Shard #2.
• Zoom in on the diamond on the wall. Take Gold Medal.
• In this exact order, set the left shape to green. Set the top shape to yellow. Set the right shape to dark blue. The shapes will disappear. and you'll be able to take the Triangle.

It's possible that these colours are different in different playthroughs.

• Interact with the ammonite fossil, and then zoom in on the chest to the right of where the ammonite fossil was. Take Shard #3.
• Zoom in on the mirror and place the triangle and all three shards onto the mirror.
• Zoom into the chest where Shard #3 was, and set it so the gaps in the lights are as follows:
- Top left symbol - Gap is at top right
- Top right symbol - Gap is at top right.
- Bottom left symbol - Gap is at the top left.
- Bottom right symbol - Gap is at the bottom right.
• You'll get a message from Beatrice. Click each symbol three times and then unlock the chest.
• Zoom out, then zoom back into the chest.
• Take the Shard #4, Magnifying Glass, Firefly Lantern, and then use the Firefly Lantern to capture Firefly 1/9 and Firefly 2/9.
• Zoom out and use the Firefly Lantern to capture Firefly 3/9 and Firefly 4/9.
• Zoom into the diamond and use the Firefly Lantern to capture Firefly 5/9.
• Zoom into the mirror and use the Firefly Lantern to capture Firefly 6/9. Also, use Shard #4 on the mirror.
• Zoom into the desk on the right and use the Firefly Lantern to capture Firefly 7/9.
• Use the magnifying glass on the small pink glowing circle near the ammonite fossil, and then pick up both Magnifying Glass and Ammonite Fossil.
• Zoom in on the diamond, then use the magnifying glass on the tower at the top right.
• Take the second Ammonite Fossil, and then speak to the spider. She'll give you a Cloak. Also, if you speak to the spider again, you'll see a certain reference...
• Zoom into the table on the right, and use the handkerchief/cloak on the hole in the pipe with the steam coming out of it.
• If you look in Beatrice (the book), we're wanting a 'Through the Mirror' Potion, which requires 1 piece of Gold, a Magna Maximyz, and a Sea Creature House. Now the steam is no longer escaping, we can click on the trapped items inside the experiment.
• Change the first item to the plant with a purple head (A thistle?)
• Set the second item to the plant with a blue dot on each of the four leaves.
• Set the third item to a buttercup (yellow plant with five petals).
• Set the fourth item to the greyish 'root' thing.
• You'll then be able to open up the bottom container and take the Plant.
• Zoom out, and in this exact order, use the gold medal, the first ammonite, the plant, and then the green bottle in your cauldron. You'll get a potion.
• Use the potion on the broken mirror (you'll have to attempt this a couple of times).
• Zoom out, and capture Firefly 8/9 and Firefly 9/9 with the Firefly Lantern.
• Use the Firefly Lantern on the dark place to the left.
• Interact with the skull to take a Gold Tooth. Keep talking to the demon until a teacup appears.
You may need to zoom out and then back in to talk to him again for this to happen.
• Zoom back into the experimentation desk, and set the four items to Raspberry, 5 Green Leaves, White Flower, and the thing that looks like a tree with no leaves. Take the Raspberries from the bottom container.
• Give the raspberries to the tea-summoning demon.

Drinking tea with demon in The Tower of Beatrice

• Take the handkerchief/cloak from the pipe with the steam.
• Use the magnifying glass on the magic circle, and then use the handkerchief/cloak on the circle to make it grow in size. Take both the magnifying glass and the blanket.
• Give the blanket to the demon, talk to him, take the blanket off of him, talk to him, give the blanket back to him, zoom out, and then talk to the snowman until he moves. Take the blanket back off of the demon.
• Take the Sledgehammer from behind the snowman.
• Zoom in on the door. Arrange the four symbols in the following order: leaves, flower petals, fruit, roots.
• You can now open the door, but can't escape because of the ice there.
• Use the sledgehammer on the ice twice. Click on the ice and you'll get an Ice Shard.
• Use the ice shard on the mirror.
• Use the blanket and the magnifying glass on the circle. Pick up the handkerchief/blanket.
• Go back to the experimentation table.
• Change the four items to the Thistle, the leaves with blue dots, the buttercup, and the greyish root thing. Take the Buttercup Plant.
• Use the gold tooth, buttercup plant, and the second ammonite on your cauldron, then use the bottle on the cauldron to get a potion.
• Use the potion on the mirror next to the demon.
• Take the Shard from the small mirror.
• Use that shard on the big mirror.
• Interact with the glowing mirror to complete the room.

Witchcraft Room in The Tower of Beatrice
Get out the fourth room

Room 5:

• Zoom in on the shield, and take Papers (#1).
• Zoom in on the fish tank hanging from the ceiling and take Papers (#2) from the top left.
• Zoom in on the table to the left, and take Papers (#3).
• Zoom in on the right-most finger crusher, take Papers (#4) from the top, and open the top, and take the Crystal.
• Take the bone from under the table.
• Zoom into the face symbols on the wall, interact with them, and take Papers (#5).
• Zoom into the shelving at the top right (just below Book Beatrice), and take Papers (#6).
• Zoom into the middle of the floor below the statue, and take Papers (#7).
• Zoom into the table to the left, use a paper on the left, and then move that paper into the left finger-crusher, and use the finger-crusher. Take the Imprint #1.
• Go to the chest and use Imprint #1, then interact with the chest a couple of times to show the next requirement.
• Go back to the finger-crushers, and this time use the left and middle finger-crushers on the same bit of paper to get a paper imprint with five imprints. Take Imprint #2.
• Return to the chest and use Imprint #2 on the chest.
• Go to the shelves from earlier, and place the crystal on the hook. Interact with the following shelves once each:
1) 2nd from the right on the bottom.
2) 2nd from the left on the bottom.
3) 2nd from the bottom on the left.
4) 2nd from the bottom on the right.
5) Bottom right corner.
• Click the crystal to retrieve it with the attachments.
• Zoom into the fish tank, and attach the crystal to the hook, then interact with the hook to lower it into the fish tank.
• Retrieve the crystal. It will no longer have attachments.
• Return to the finger-crushers, and place the crystal into the top of the third finger-crusher.
• Use a bit of paper and use the right finger-crusher to imprint the paper.
• Now use the same paper and use the left finger-crusher to imprint the paper.
• Take that paper to the chest to complete the third 'imprint' segment of the chest. Take Papers (#8).
• Talk to the big statue, and it will open up to reveal a skeleton. Keep interacting with the skeleton until you enter the inside of the statue.
• Take Papers {#9).
• Set the four 'windows' to red, red, green, black. You'll escape the statue.
• Go to the table, and use the 9 papers on the middle of it. Interact with them, and put them in order. This can be extremely annoying with them changing constantly if you don't know what to look for. However, there are clues. On each bit of paper, there are certain things that do not change. That's what you're looking for. Please see the image below to see how to arrange the pieces. The bits circled in green do NOT change, and therefore, you should be able to arrange all nine pieces correctly.

• Wrap the reassembled paper around the bone, then feed the bone to the chest.

Feed the chest!
  • Unlocked by 323 tracked gamers (64% - TA Ratio = 1.24) 505
• Keep touching the chest until it spits out a key-shaped block. Take Key-shaped Block.
• Zoom into the patterns on the wall, and interact to get back to the wire puzzle. Add the Key-shaped block into the puzzle.
• Set the castle piece into the top middle.
• There is a piece with the wire going off at top left and top right corner, with a loop in the middle of the piece. Set that in the middle.
• There is a piece with a loop and the wire leaving the square on the left side and the bottom right corner. Set that to top left.
• There is a piece that is an identical mirror image of the previous piece. Set this top right.
• The castle piece will fall off, and allow you to take Cheese and Bone.
• Use the bone on the chest, and then interact with the chest a couple of times. A Page will come out of the book, which you'll have to select, not press Y to get.
• Open the statue. Use the page on the half-skeleton's left thigh bone (the one to the right), then interact with the statue to close it and get the Page-Wrapped Bone.
• Throw the page-wrapped bone at the chest.
• Interact with the chest and take the Demon Skull.
• Interact with the chain on the floor in front of the statue, and use the demon skull on the pliers/boltcutters. Take the Brain.
• Use the cheese on the left finger-crusher. Put both the cheese and the brain into your cauldron.
• Use the bottle on the cauldron to get a potion.
• Use the potion on the bucket at the top right.
• Leave the room via the door on the right.

Torture Room in The Tower of Beatrice

Room 6:

• Zoom into the bush on the right. You can take Yellow Leaves #1 and a Book #1 here.
• Zoom in to the white grid to the bottom right of the door. You can pick up Yellow Leaves #2.
• Move the white skull to the bottom right square. Move the moon to the right-most square on the second row. Move the mountains to the bottom left square.
• Before zooming out, make sure that the 'no entry' sign at the bottom left is red and not green.
• Zoom in on the circuit-looking display below the table on the left.
• If you activate the spike security systems, you'll see coloured paint on some of the spikes. You can see those colours below:

• These colours correspond with colours that you need to set up on the circuit-looking display (after the spikes have withdrawn). They should look like this:

• When you've done this, make sure the 'no entry' symbol is red, not green, before zooming out.
• Zoom into the top of the table, and take the Key, Book #7, Yellow Leaves #3, and Inkpot, and then zoom out.
• Zoom into the map high on the left wall. Take the Diagram and Yellow Leaves #4.
• Zoom into the pentagon of circles above the desk. Take the Yellow Leaves #5.
• Zoom into the top right shelf, and take Book #4.
• Put all of the books you currently have on the bottom shelf and take the Blue Candle and Yellow Leaves #6.
• Use the inkpot on the top shelf, and then zoom out.
• Zoom back in, and take Inkpot Snail.
• Zoom into the display above the pentagon of circles, and take Yellow Leaves #7.
• You can interact with the diamonds. Interact with the top left, bottom left, and middle right diamonds to place three apples onto the picture. This will unlock lock #1.
• Zoom in on the table, and put the Diagram with the one already there. Then use the Inkpot Snail on the two pieces of the diagram. Also, use the blue candle in the tower, and close the tower. This will make a light beam start.
• We now need to direct the light beam to be exactly as the bottom diagram on the door says. When you've zoomed in to each crystal and directed the light beam in the same direction as the diagram, you'll unlock lock #2.
• We now need to do the yellow lock. If we check the map, we need to follow the route that is the double red-line route. So, starting from the tower, it's Tower, Ship, Volcano, Mountains, Tree, House and then back to the tower. Arrange the pictures on the yellow gem puzzle (middle right) to unlock lock #3.
• Zoom in on the purple gem puzzle (top right of the door). You want to put bullet holes in these plates, and the order you want is 1-4-2-7-3. This is to do with the number of books of the head accessory of the creature. The reason why 4th plate is 7 is that the bear has no 'head accessory', i.e. antlers, and thus, it's blank, and the number of the bear book is 7. This will open lock #4.
• Without moving any of the light-beam crystals, zoom into the white grid at the bottom left of the door, and turn the 'no entry' symbol green, then activate all spikes. It will move the beam over the peppers and ripen one.
• Take the Green Pepper, Red Pepper, and Blue Gem.
• Disable the security spikes by turning the 'no entry' sign on the white grid red again, and then zoom into the pentagon of circles.
• Use the Blue Gem on the space on this display, and then zoom out.
• Place the red pepper at the foot of the light beam tower on top of the table.
• Place all seven yellow leaves and the key into your cauldron.
• Use your bottle on the cauldron to get the potion.
• Use the potion on the snail, and then take the glued diagram.
• Use the glued diagram on the map.
• Moved to the five pentagonal circles. The top left circle needs to be a tree. The top right circle needs to be a minus. The left-most circle needs to be a ~. The right-most circle needs to be a dot. The bottom circle needs to be a tree. This unlocks lock #5.
• We will now have to move the light-beams again. We need to get it to go from the skull on the bottom left, to the diagram middle right, up to the top right diagram, over to the green gem on the bookshelf, all the way across the room to the blue gem on the top left, down to the five circles, and then finally down onto the bottom image on the right door. This will unlock lock #6.
• We can now focus on the final lock. Zoom into the new image on the door.
• In order, from top to bottom, place the symbols: 'B', Clock, Portrait, Face, Door, Coffin.
• You can open the door, and in will come the villain. The door will shut behind him. He will have a health bar of 10 green hearts.
• Take the gold coin from the table with the skull. You'll get locked in a cage.
• Place the green pepper on the cage. To do this, you'll have to press it into the middle of the cage, and it'll appear at the top left. The snail will come along, nibble the pepper, and put acid on the cage bars.
• You can now poke out the cage bars on the bottom part of the cage. Activate the security system on the left under the table by turning the 'no entry' symbol to green.
• Enemy health: 9/10.
• He'll rebuild the cage. Poke out the single pole in front of the white grid, and use the pole to poke the 'no entry' symbol to make it green.
• Enemy health: 8/10.
• The cage disappears. The enemy will go through the mirror.
• Put the gold coin in your cauldron. Use your bottle on the cauldron for a potion. Use the potion on the pile of books.
• Exit through the basement door.

Basement (Boss Fight continued)

• Interact with the chest.
• Enemy health: 7/10.
• When the enemy's hand comes out of the portal in the middle of the floor, zoom in, and use the pliers/boltcutters.
• Enemy health: 6/10.
• Zoom in on the finger-crushers. Use the left finger-crusher on the enemy's hand.
• Enemy health: 5/10.
• After he's said about the stone on his ring being removed, check the left finger crusher, and take the Gem.
• Rotate the shield so that the sword blade points to the top right.
• Zoom in behind the face patterns on the wall. Move the piece at the top left down one segment to the middle left. Move the castle to top left. Move the centre piece down to the bottom middle. Move the top right piece to middle right.
• Zoom out, and put your potion bottle in the fish tank to get water.
• Zoom in on the puzzle on the floor with the pliers/boltcutters, and arrange the segments so that they create a full circuit.
• Pour the water into the circular segment on the floor.
• Zoom to the shelves on the right, and put the gem on the hook. Equip a single item from the following shelves, in this exact order: 2nd shelf from the top on the right. Top shelf on the left.
• Take the gem, go to the fishtank, attach it to the hook, and lower the hook. This will charge the fish. You will get an item from the fish.
• Use that item on the hook.
• Enemy health: 4/10.
• Interact with the bucket at the top right that you fixed with a potion earlier in the game.
• Enemy health: 3/10.
• When the enemy is behind the chest, interact with the chest. The smaller chest will jump up and bite the enemy.
• Enemy health: 2/10.
• Interact with the shield and rotate it around so that the sword blade points to the bottom right.
• When the enemy is moving away from the chest, from right to left, interact with the chest. He should bite the cloak. Now interact with the fish tank, and lower the object into the water again.
• Enemy health: 1/10.
