It’s now time to be off to Skellige on the main quest aptly named Destination: Skellige. Hopefully by this time you’ve also completed the fist-fighting quests in Velen and Novigrad. Only one ship, Captain Wolverstone, will be willing to take you to Skellige for the hefty price of 1,000 crown! Pay up and make your voyage to Skellige.

*** Spoiler - click to reveal ***
Before you head off to your quest location, there will be the ship wreckage nearby. You can loot the bodies and you should get a ‘refund’ for your trip from one of them. There will also be an Axii Place of Power nearby, just same ways into the ocean near the ship wrecks. Also look for a monster nest nearby and be sure to destroy it. It will count towards an accumulative achievement. When you eventually make it to Kaer Tolde, you will unlock the notice board where you will unlock the last fist-fighting tournament. First you’ll take on Valgard, who’ll have a request from you before the match. You will obviously decline and proceed to pummel him to the ground! Next, you can fast-travel to Harviken and face Einar. For some reason, this location was available without me being in the location previously. Einar is tricky and fast, but once I cornered him, I had my way with him. You next challenger will be Grim in Arinbjorn. This one you’ll need to travel to since there weren’t any fast travel points nearby. Once you’re done with Grim, you’ll now have the opportunity to fight with Olaf, the Skellige Champion in Urialla Harbor. There should be a fast-travel point to the place. Defeat Olaf and you will unlock Brawler.

Brawler

Defeat Olaf, the Skellige champion of unarmed combat.

Soon after you defeat Olaf, you’ll get an invite to fight the Champion of Champions located in Spikeroog. After a simple side quest, you’ll get to face the Champion of Champions. He definitely is the Champions of champions and you’ll want to save before the fight. You only get one shot at this! The champ packs a monster punch, so you don’t want to get hit by it. Just keep dancing and attack patiently and you’ll win it, unlocking Brawl Master.

Brawl Master

Complete all fistfighting quests in Velen, Skellige and Novigrad.

You should have 2 side quests unlocked by talking to Crache after Destination: Skellige and The King is dead-Long Live the King quests which will involve helping both his children. In the Possession quest, you will be helping Cerys trying to find the sword Aki to break a curse. Complete all the ‘mini-quests’ of the quest to help Cerys complete the quest. Next, take on The Lord of Undvik to help Crache’s son, Hjalmar. It’s quite a long and involving quest that will need you to sail all the way to Undvik. Once there, there will be many mini-quests that will take you all over the island solving mysteries and trying to find Hjalmar. At some point, you’ll get into a cave with trolls, making a ‘meal’ that can help you find Hjalmar. Choose to take a riddle and answer “Troll”. After the meal is released, activate the Master Armorers quest that you got earlier in at Crow's Perch from Fergus Graem, which should indicate the location of the tools nearby. Defeat the troll and collect the tools. You can now take the tools back to her and get some master-crafted armour from her. Now continue with the Lord of Undvik quest to its end. You will unlock the King’s Gambit quest, prompting you to go collect your reward from Crache. Of course, it will not be that straight-forward and there will be other sub-quests to finish. At the end of that, Crache will invite you to the Coronation to see who will be crowned the next ruler of the Skellige Isles. Accept and just hang around and witness the crowning to unlock...

Kingmaker

Complete the subplot about choosing Skellige's ruler.

While still in Larvik after completing the above main quests, go to the notice board and get the contracts and quests available. One of the quests will be The Heroes Pursuits: For the Goddess’ Glory. We are assuming by now you have completed the horse races in Velen and Novigrad. Talk to Svana, the priestess who should be located right at the entrance of Larvik. Interacting with her will unlock the last horse races. There will be 3 races before the final with the Vipress. The races are all quite short, so you can go all out on Roach’s stamina. Quite straight forward, and once you win all the races you will have the Fast and Furious achievement.

Fast and Furious

Win all the horse races in the game.

As always, pick up all the contracts on the notice boards in your travels around Skellige. There’s one, In the Heart of the Woods, that will be started in Farylund. Start the quest by investigating the site around where the Woodland Spirit last attacked. You will find out that the monster you’re dealing with is a Leshen. There will be 2 options on how to deal with the Woodland Spirit. You can go make a sacrifice and appease the spirit (Harald’s Offer), or do it the witcher way and slay the beast (Sven’s offer). You WILL take SVEN’s offer to kill the beast. First you’ll have to find who has been marked by the Woodland Spirit, then destroy 3 totems marked by it before you fight it. Equip dimitirium for the fight to nullify the Woodland Spirit’s magic that it will use to summon wolves to join the fight and use Igni. That should take it down relatively quickly. Once you defeat it, you will unlock...

Complete the contract on the Woodland Spirit.

In the same vicinity, there’s another contract of interest, Missing Son in Rannvaig, It’s a straightforward contract that involves tracking down Odhen’s son. You will track the fiend Morvudd to its lair. This is one of the toughest battles, and it can take you out in two hits! So use Quen well in this quest. I also had equipped a sword that increases likelihood of bleeding and it seemed to help. You will have to fight Morvudd twice, and when you defeat it in its lair, you will get...

Fiend or Foe?

Complete the contract on Morvudd.

While still in Skellige, be sure to destroy 5 monster nests. Though I’m sure they’re more than 5 nests in all of Skellige, destroying 5 in Skellige will unlock the achievement Pest Control for destroying all the monster nests in either Novigrad or Skellige. My fifth and final nest was in Urialla Harbor, but use this map for the monster nest locations. (Thanks to King fiShizB for the map)

Pest Control

Destroy all monster nests in the Velen / Novigrad region, or in Skellige.
