3. Tomb Raider: Anniversary Peru

Go ahead and start the game one hard, and let's crack on.

Mountain Caves - 3 ARTIFACTS, 1 RELIC

As the level starts, you'll be facing a rocky tower. To the left of the tower is a rock outcrop. Jump onto this, and then jump onto the ledge on the wall behind it. Shimmy to the right, jump across the gap, and continue until your back is towards a rock. Hold cn_LS backwards and jump to the rock, the jump over the gap towards the ledges and climb up. You will now get a message on using the grapple ability, run towards the edge of the cliff, jump forwards, and hit cn_X to grapple the ring. Swing back and forward with cn_LS until you feel comfortable to jump to the ledge. Turn right to climb up the stairs, and you will see the entrance to Mountain Caves. Checkpoint and SAVE.

To the left of the door is a rocky outcrop. Jump from this to the ledge on the wall, swing across the gap, and continue to climb up the wall. Shimmy left when at the top and jump across another gap. Once back on solid ground, press the button on the wall to trigger a cutscene. Following the cutscene, you will now be in the Mountain Caves. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Run forwards and you will hit a pressure plate in the floor, triggering an arrow trap in front of you. The gaps between each set of arrows are quite large so there's no rush through them, and you can simply take your time running/rolling through them one at a time. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Climb up the stairs in front of you and jump over the gap in the wooden platform, then a second gap from the rocks to another wooden platform. Turn the camera 180, and you will see a small ledge on the left, jump up this, then run and jump across the following 3 gaps. When you come to the 4th gap, you have to slide down a little bit before making the jump, or else you will fall. Once over the gap, you will find ARTIFACT #1/3. Jump over the gap behind it to the pillar, shimmy round to the left, and drop to the floor. Checkpoint and SAVE.

As you walk forward, you will have to kill a few bats, simply done by holding cn_LT and mashing cn_RT. Continue round the corner to a large room, and a couple more bats to kill. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Slide down the large ramp in front of you, then jump before falling off, and hit cn_X to grapple the ring. Hold cn_Y and climb up the rope until you are level with the ledge on the wall. Swing and jump to the ledge, then shimmy left and jump up to the second ledge. Now jump to the pillar behind you, drop down one level, and shimmy around to the right. Jump behind you again to find ARTIFACT #2/3. Drop off the ledge on the left hand side to the floor, where you will be ambushed by a couple of bats. Kill them quickly, and walk down the steps at the back of the room to a switch. Press it to open the door, and walk through the corridor until you come to a room with a couple of bridges in it. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Walk round to the right and up the first ledge, and a few wolves will appear. I bet you can guess what happens next. Start walking across the first bridge, and surprise surprise, it breaks. Kill the wolves and in the back left of the room is a small alcove with a Small Medipack. Now climb up the broken section of the bridge. Climb up the ledges and over the second bridge which thankfully doesn't break. Climb up another ledge and continue forward until you get to a room will some small pillars, and on the right will be a very large hole with a rope over it. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Drop down into the hole, and you will be attacked by a bear. Make sure you have full ammo for this as it soaks up nearly an entire clip. Move down the tunnel to another switch, and flip it to open the door. Drop down one level and grab ARTIFACT #3/3. Drop back to the floor of the bridge room, and follow the path back to the rope over the hole. Checkpoint and SAVE

Swing over the gap and continue down the stairs and through the tunnel. Use the pole to swing over the gap, then climb up the ledges on the other side. You'll now come face to face with more arrows, but it's the same as before, just take your time as the gaps are quite large. Checkpoint and SAVE

Step on the pad to open the door, or not as the case may be. To the left of the door, climb up the first set of ledges, the the second set in front of you with the half broken ledge. Shimmy to the right, and jump on to the first weight. Turn around, and make your way towards a small door. Through it is another wolf. Kill it. Continue through another door and to the end of the room. Look left, and you will see three poles to swing across. Use them, and on the other side, you will be attacked by two wolves, so do the necessary. Go through another small door, climb the ledges on the right, jump to the pole behind you the when it stops swinging, and jump to the weight. Drop down to the door, and use the pad to open the door, but DO NOT GO THROUGH IT. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Take the same path as you did to get to the second weight, but when you jump to the swinging pole, keep hitting cn_A when jumping to it to jump onto a ledge on the wall. Shimmy left and jump over to the pole. When on the pole, stop swinging and move right to line up with the small ledge and jump to it. Jump on ledge up, then backwards on to the higher pole. Jump from the pole onto another set of ledges to climb up and find RELIC #1/1. Go back the way you came up as dropping all the way down causes a lot of damage, and health carries over through levels. Once at the bottom, walk through the door to finish the level. Checkpoint and SAVE.

City of Vilcabamba - 1 ARTIFACT

Move forward and up the stairs to trigger a bear attack. You will be introduced to the rage function that enemies have. Run down the corridor, and jump onto the pole in front of you. Slide down it, and then behind you towards where you came from is a gap in the wall hiding a Small Medipack. In between the two poles in the room is a small rocky outcrop. Use this to jump to the ledge at the side of the room, then jump the gap to the left to a second ledge, and then upwards to a third. Jump backwards to the pole behind you, and then from the pole onto the upper floor. Move forward to be welcomed to the City of Vilcabamba. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Move down the stairs to be attacked by a couple of wolves. Dispatch them and continue forwards to another set of stairs. Down these is a set of shacks where you'll be attacked by another bear, then move into the 'city'. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Jump into the pool in the middle of the area, and dive down to the bottom to find a Small Medipack. Resurface to regain oxygen, then dive down and through the gap next to the falling water. Swim through the path, and when you reach the other side, pull the switch as fast as you can. When the roof opens, surface and climb out. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Open the door in this room, which will trigger another Checkpoint. Climb up the stairs, and then jump across the gap into the next building. The wooden platform you land on will break and make you fall to the floor. Grab the cage in front of you, and pull it towards you to open the path behind. Go through the gap. You will find shotgun ammo, and to the left behind a wall, the Village Key. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Head back through the gap, and shoot the golden lock on the door. Grab the cage and take it back towards the stairs where you first entered the main area, and near them is a pole. Position the cage next to the pole, climb up the cage, and then jump on to the pole. It can be a bit awkward getting the jump right, so it may take a couple of attempts. Climb up the pole, and then jump to the ledge behind you, and quickly climb up to kill the two bats. Jump to the pole to swing over the gap, then climb up the ledge. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Jump forwards and grapple over the gap, using a couple of swings to gain momentum to jump to the ledge. Shimmy to the left, and then jump and swing over the gap using the two poles to land near a waterfall. Kill the two bats here, and then grab ARTIFACT #1/1. Jump onto the thatched roof and slide down it, and turn to the right to the gap between the two shacks. On the right hand side is a hole for the key to open the gate. Use it. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Go through the gate and you will be attacked by a couple of wolves next to the pillar, followed by a third one coming from the next room. Kill them, and move into the next room, and climb up the steps. Checkpoint and SAVE.

The next part can be done in either order but I'll list the way I went.

Head through the left door to trigger a Checkpoint. Climb up the steps to the left, and then jump the gap to a second platform. Jump diagonally from this platform to the ledge and shimmy to the right. Jump over the gap and continue shimmying right, before jumping behind you to grab the ledge. Pull yourself up and go through the door and up the ramp. As you reach the top, two bats will attack so take them out and jump over the gap, then to the pole in front of you to open the first half of the door. Drop down from the pole to the floor, and head through the right hand door. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Climb up the steps to the right, jump over the gap to the small ledge low down, and then jump up to the next ledge and shimmy left, before jumping up again to another ledge and continuing to the left. Jump over the gap and shimmy left round the corner to a platform. Pull yourself up and head through the door, up the ramp and take out two more bats on reaching the top. Jump over the ledge and then to the pole to open the second half of the door. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Go through the big door, and follow the corridor to the end for another checkpoint. Jump over the gap to the slide and slide down to the floor. A wolf will attack, so take it out, and then grab the Small Medipack in the middle of the room. Grab the cage from in front of the slide and move it to the left of the slide. Use it to climb up the ledges back to where you came in. Jump back over to the slide, and this time, jump to the pole in front of you to swing over the gap and climb up to the platform. Jump to the top of the pole in front of you, and then from there to the other side. Should you fall, you can use the cage to climb back up again. Head round the corner, then jump down to the floor and move towards the pole in the middle of the area. Behind it is a small rocky outcrop which you can use to jump up to the ledge at the side. Jump behind you to swing from the pole to the ledge on the opposite side, and then climb up to the next ledge before shimmying left to hang from the platform. Watch the pattern of the arrows, and as the bottom arrow fires, pull yourself up and roll forwards to avoid being hit. Now, turn around back to the arrows and wait for the bottom two to fire before jumping to the top of the pole, then over to the other side. Run through the corridor to complete the level. Checkpoint and SAVE.

The Lost Valley - 2 ARTIFACTS, 1 RELIC

Run forward, and head down the steps in front of you. As you drop off, you will be attacked by two wolves, so take them out and make your way over to the left hand side of the large pool to find the first cog. You will get a checkpoint, then climb up the left hand side and jump over the gap to the ledge. Climb up the ledges to the top platform and grab the shotgun ammo here. Jump back down into the water and dive under to swim through a tunnel leading to a Small Medipack. Head back to the main room, climb up the ladder on the right hand side of the pool, place the cog in the slot, and then pull the switch. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Jump to the pole spinning on the medium sized cog, then swing to the second larger cog with two more poles on it. Use the poles to jump to the ladder on the other side and climb up. Grab the ledge directly to the right of the switch (not the one over the gap) and move to the right, jumping the gap in the ledge. Jump up the the next ledge, and then behind you to climb onto the wooden platform. Turn around, and jump diagonally right to the ledge on the wall and shimmy right around a couple of corners. Jump up to the next ledge and then behind you to the hanging rope. Slide down the rope as far as you can, then shimmy round until you're facing a wall with a ledge on it. Get a decent swing going, and jump to the ledge. Shimmy right around a corner, and then jump to a wooden ledge, before dropping to the platform below and releasing the bridge. Head down the tunnel to the left. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Crouch under a rock to enter a room, and move forwards to be attacked by a bear. The next section is a bit tricky so don't rush it. Climb up the series of platforms and ledges to the left until you reach the top platform, where you will see an item glowing. This is .50 Cal pistol ammo. If you look down to the left, you will see a sloped wooden platform. Jump down on to this, and then before you drop off the edge, jump to a ledge on the middle level of the tower you just climbed. Shimmy round to the left, and then jump behind you to get ARTIFACT #1/2. Drop back down to the floor, then climb back up to the top of the tower. This time, turn to the right and jump to the rocky ledge behind you. Move all the way to the right, then climb up to the next ledge, before going all the way left. Now jump behind you to the top of the first pillar, then straight to the second one, and finally to the wooden platform. Slide down and head through the gap in the wall. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Head up the stairs, pick up the shotgun ammo, and turn into another slightly tricky room. Jump to the first slope in front of you, and then from that to a rocky ledge on the wall. Shimmy to the right, and then jump to a platform with more shotgun ammo. From here, jump to the pole, and then swing across the gap to another ledge, before climbing up to the top floor. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Jump to the ledge on the right hand side, shimmy left around the corner, and then jump behind you to another ledge and shimmy right to land on a rocky platform. You will be attacked by two bats. Then you can pick up the Large Medipack. Jump up the platform leading you to the tunnel behind you, and continue until you fall through a wooden section of floor. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Head into the large open area, where you will be attacked by three raptors. When shooting them, if they start to get close, just roll a few times to get out of the way. These take a lot of bullets but can be quickly killed when they are in rage mode by using the slow-mo dodge and headshots. After the first three are dead, three more will attack so just use the same tactic. After defeating them, checkpoint and SAVE.

A cutscene will now trigger with 3 'Super Actions'. These are as follows: When the T-Rex charges, press cn_B. When the raptor charges, press cn_RT, then press cn_A as it slides towards you. After the cutscene, you will be in a fight with the T-Rex. After you gain control of Lara again, Checkpoint and SAVE.

Head to the left where the two spiked logs are, and continuously shoot the T-Rex until it gets in rage mode. Once it is, make sure you're positioned in front of one of the two logs and be ready to dodge out of the way. Then shoot the T-Rex when the two target reticules combine over his head. This will cause him to crash into the log, doing about 1/3rd damage to his health. As he is recovering, start making your way over the other side where the single spiked log is and repeat the same process. Finally back to the first side for a final attack. After defeating him, there will be another couple of 'Super Actions'. When the T-Rex charges, press cn_B, and then cn_RT to finish him off. There is a Small Medipack next to the two spiked logs should you need it. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Climb up the ledge to the right of the now dead T-Rex and head into the room with two small waterfalls, and jump to the other platform to get the second cog. You will get a checkpoint as you enter the room. Jump into the water and dive down to the right side of the room as you entered, and swim through the tunnel to a room with a pole in it. Climb up the pole, then jump to the platform behind you. Jump to the ledge to the left of the hole higher up, and go left around the room until you get to a ledge below a dip in the wall. Jump to the top of the pole behind you, then to another ledge. Jump up one more and shimmy left, then jump behind you to the hole in the wall. Checkpoint and SAVE.

You will be above the area where you fought the T-Rex. To the right on the lower level is a Small Medipack. Then climb up the platforms behind it and over the top of the door you went through to get the cog. Follow the platforms around the edge of the arena to a pole, climb it, and jump to the floor behind you. Move forward and jump to the rocky ledge in front of you, then round to the left on two more ledges, before jumping behind you to a wooden platform. Follow the path round, then slide down at the end to jump to a pole, then from the pole to the rocky gap. Climb through gap and move forward to get a Small Medipack. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Go through the gap in the wall and climb up a couple of wooden platforms to see a wooden bridge with a large gap in the middle of it. Jump over the bridge (you will need to use cn_Y to pull yourself up), and then head forward and grab the Large Medipack in front of you. Head back out to the bridge, and turn around to the right to see a small ledge. Jump on to this and start climbing up the outside of the building by going left, dropping down, left again to jump over the gap, and then climbing up and jumping behind you to reach the top. Do not head down the slope just yet, instead jump towards the top end of it to the platform on the other side. If the game forces you down the slope, you'll have to reload your last save. Drop down to the platform to the right, then to the floor where you will find ARTIFACT #2/2. Climb back onto the ledge you just dropped from, then go back up to the top of the tower, and this time use the slope. Jump as you reach the bottom to get to another slope, then again as you reach the bottom of that one to grab a pole. Swing to the next one, and then onto a wooden platform before jumping to another one and heading into the tunnel to finally get another checkpoint and SAVE.

Head down the rocky tunnel until you reach a slide for a checkpoint. Go down the slide and jump to the ledge on the other side. Jump behind you, then down a level, around to the right, and finally back to a wooden platform and to the start of this section. Jump to the first slide, then to the ledge over from it. Instead of going right this time, climb up to the next ledge, move left to use the other slide, and then jump to the series of ledges to get back to the top. Head down the stairs and climb up the pole to the top. Position yourself to land on the small slope next top the short pole, then jump to the slope, onto the pole, and then through the gap in the wall. You're now back in the room where you collected the first artifact. Head back out of this room the way you originally came into it to end up back in the room with all the gears. You will get a Checkpoint and SAVE along the way.

The bridge that fell in this area initially has broken, but has left one pole with which to swing over the gap. It's a long jump but possible so it may take a couple of attempts to get it right (this is why we save often). Once over the gap head down the tunnel, then over another gap over the waterfall. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Climb up the ledges on the right hand side, then jump behind to the wooden platform. You will see a note about shooting the bridge, so do that to make it fall revealing a pole to swing. Jump to the ledge in front of you, then around the corner and jump behind you to use the pole to swing over the gap. Go around the corner, and use your grappling hook to swing to a wooden platform. Look up and to your left to shoot the connectors holding the bridge up, then climb up the ledges on the right, and jump across the gap to end up where the bridge was. Grapple to the hook but don't swing across just yet. Lower yourself to the bottom of the rope, and turn to face where you just jumped from. You will see a small gap in the wall to the right of the bridge, and left of the waterfall. Aim yourself to swing towards that hole, and leap into it. After crawling through, you will find the SHOTGUN, a Large Medipack, and unlock:

Unfortunately, the only way down is to jump into the water, so do that. When you land in the water, swim to the right hand side of the current, and if you're lucky, you'll grab onto a small piece of land just before the waterfall. If not, you'll have to do the climb all over again, or reload your last save. Now go back to where the destroyed bridge was, and this time, swing all the way across to the other side to get attacked by a couple of bats before picking up cog number three. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Jump to the rotating pole when it's close to you, then move to the inside of it as much as possible to be able to just get to the next ledges. When the pole gets as far right as possible, jump to the ledge, then climb up the next one, shimmy right around the corner, up to the next one, and then behind you to the platform next to a hole in the wall. Head down the corridor to pull a switch which opens a gate underwater. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Drop down into the water and fall down the waterfall. Climb out and kill the three wolves that attack you with your new shotgun if you want. Climb up the ladder that you did at the start of the level, and make your way up to the switch that we avoided first time round. Place the cog in the gap next to it and pull the switch. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Once again, climb up the ledges to the right of the switch, and upon reaching the wooden platform, jump to the rotating platform, then to a third wooden platform. Again, place the cog in the gap and pull the switch. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Now to get the Relic for this level. Jump into the pool of water and the base of the now stemmed waterfall, and climb out to the left of it. Start climbing up the rocky ledges like at the start of the level. When you reach the top of the waterfall, duck under the wooden log, and head up the tunnel. When you get to the end, jump into the water off of the broken bridge and dive down. Under the other side of the broken bridge is where the underwater gate was. Swim through here to pick up RELIC #1/1. Head back out, and swim towards the waterfall. Climb onto a little platform on the right hand side of the flowing water to climb out of the water, then head under the large wooden log and jump into the pool. Head between the now parted waterfall to complete the level. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Tomb of Qualopec - 2 ARTIFACTS

Head through the tunnel to come into a room with three wooden poles on the ground, and one pole on the wall. Jump across them to reach the two platforms at the end, and head forward into a large room. Checkpoint and SAVE

Run across the platform in the middle, and start heading up the ramp to trigger a boulder. Run back towards the main room and roll to the side to avoid it. This will now free up one of the two tall wooden platforms in this area. Drop down to ground level, and move it towards the gap on the right side of the room you entered from. You'll want to position it so that the front of the base is level with the last wooden support to the right of the door. Once you've done so, head round to the left side of the room, and move the small crate into position to climb up the ledges. You will be able to jump from the centre platform to the wooden platform by holding down cn_A, and hitting cn_Y upon grabbing it. Hold cn_A to pull yourself up with ease, then jump to the door in the wall. If you don't make one of the jumps, re-position the wooden platform marginally until you do. Head down the corridor, checkpoint and SAVE. As a side note, you can position the platform on the other side of the room and use it to jump to a ledge diagonally left from where you entered, then climb around the ledges to reach the top of the now blocked off door. Shoot the target in the middle of the ceiling to release the second platform, and use it to make the jump across easier. We will do this later anyway.

When you get to the arrow section, drop down using the ledges, and head to the far side to find ARTIFACT #1/2. Go back to the first pillar, climb up it to reach the 2 ledges, and climb up to the top floor. The first set of arrows has a short pause after each on fires, so use this gap to jump to the first pole, and then to the left to get onto a ledge. Shimmy right and again, using the gap between the arrows, jump to the next ledge. Jump behind you to grab the swinging pole, then swing to the second standing pole, and finally jump right, back onto solid ground. Head down the corridor into a room with a switch. Checkpoint and SAVE.

As you get to the switch, the floor collapses, and you will have to fight two wolves. After they're dead, go up the ramp at the side of the area, and in the middle of the wooden platform, you'll find a cage. Grab it, and push it off the edge, then move it to the pillar with the ledges on it. Jump up to the ledges, then behind to jump between the two poles hanging from the ceiling, and then to another ledge. Shimmy round the corner, and jump to a swing pole to get over the gap to get to a rocky platform. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Jump up the two ledges, and shimmy right before jumping behind you to another pole hanging from the ceiling. Climb it to the top, then position yourself so that you're facing away from the switch towards a hole in the wall. Jump towards the hole, and on the left will be ARTIFACT #2/2. Congrats, that's all the artifacts in Peru, unlocking:

Jump back onto the pole, then jump to the ledge above the switch, before dropping down onto the switch itself, opening one of the gates where the boulder came from. Jump right from the switch to swing on a pole and then onto a ledge. Shimmy left to be able to jump up to the next ledge, and then continue up to the top floor. Make your way round, and drop through the second gap to wind up back at the entrance of this room. There will be some ammo on the floor here. Checkpoint and SAVE.

As you continue through the corridor and round the first corner, you will be attacked by a raptor, so take it out (no I don't know how it got there either). Go back to the section with the arrows, and either take the high road using the same method as before, or drop to the floor and take out a second raptor before climbing back up on the far side. Move down the corridor. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Once you get back in the room where the boulder fell, drop to the ground, and move the wooden pillar to the other side, then climb back to the top for another checkpoint. You'll want to have the platform positioned so that you can jump diagonally to the ledge on the right hand side of the door on the left. Jump to the ledge, and then climb up to the top of the platform next to it. Pull out your guns and shoot the target in the middle of the ceiling. From the platform, make your way over to the top of the boulder door with the use of a wooden pillar, then use two grapples to get to the switch above the entrance. Pulling this opens another gate. Checkpoint and SAVE.

The second wooden platform is now free, so drop down to the floor, and position the both of them to access the second pathway. Return to the top and jump across into the hallway. Move down the pathway for another checkpoint, and shockingly, more arrows. These fire a bit quicker than normal, and all at once so you want to time your jump to be pressing cn_A just as they fire. Grab onto the swing pole, the across onto the ledge, jump right to another ledge, and then follow the patter of the arrows. They fire 3 at once (1 from your side, 2 from the other) and then the middle, follow by the bottom one, then the top one. You'll want to jump just as the middle one is firing on it's own when the bottom one is to follow. From the next ledge, you can drop down to pass under the next set. The final set fires the bottom 2, then the top 2, followed by bottom, middle, top twice in a row in quick succession. From the ledge, jump behind you to a ladder like wall, then jump right when the top one fires on it's own for the second time. Shimmy right on the ledge you landed on and over the gap, then jump behind you onto a pillar, and finally back onto solid ground with a Small Medipack. Move down the corridor to get another Small Medipack, and finally, a checkpoint and SAVE.

More arrows, but fortunately, these are a lot easier and only have one pattern, so just roll through when they're not firing. Around the corridor and more arrows, but only two of the sets are working, and they too are on a simple pattern which can be run through quite easily. Head into the room and grapple to the platform with steps. Jump to the wooden pillar on the left, then over to the swing pole and over the gap to a couple of ledges. Climb them and run over the floor before jumping to the switch to open the third and final gate. Checkpoint and SAVE.

Make your way back to the entrance to this room, and you'll find that all the arrows are now working. The first two can easily be rolled through, and fortunately, the remaining ones all have a Lara sized gap between them so you can take them one at a time rather than trying it all at once. Turning the corner, more treats await in that the arrows here now have giant swinging axes to accompany them. The axes usually tie in with the arrows firing so you can roll past both together when that happens. Once again, each of the traps has a Lara shaped space between them, so there's no rush. After passing through, Checkpoint and SAVE.

As you round the corner, another raptor attacks, so take it out. Back in the room with the random arrows, you can make your way across all on one side, the side with the ladder wall which makes this room a little easier, but all the arrows have the same pattern as before so it shouldn't be too difficult having done it once already. When you get to the end, jump to the pole sticking out of the wall, then time your jump to avoid the arrows firing over the gap. Pick up a Small Medipack and make your way back to the main room of the level. Once here, you can either drop to the floor and climb back up, or head round the left hand side using the ledges to get to the ramp you just opened. If you choose to drop to the floor, you will get a checkpoint upon climbing back up. Ignore the small ramp at the top of the big ramp, and go behind it to move into a room with a shrine at the back of it. Checkpoint and SAVE.

After the cutscene, make your way all the way back to the start of the level, getting checkpoints along the way and saving as needed. There's not too much of a rush to get through but it's pretty simple, except the section with the three vertical poles so take your time there to avoid fighting the raptor. Once you reach the end, a cutscene will trigger, and straight after it, you're into another 'Super Action' sequence, with the following inputs: cn_A as Larson dives at you, cn_B as he throws sand at you, and cn_Y as he pulls out his gun.
