1. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Walkthrough overviewUpdate notes

TR Xbox One - P01I01

Hello everyone and welcome to the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition-walkthrough. My name is MC0REBE and I will be guiding you through the entire story, how you should best handle certain situations, how to solve puzzles, guide you to pick up all collectibles, support you to complete all challenges, train you to become a multiplayer-expert and naturally how to get all the achievements related to this brilliant game.

This will be the first guide where I will also experiment with in-game screenshots, shot from when I was playing (with some help from my lovely girlfriend who needed to take a screenshot in tricky situations) to give you some visual of this game if you are following this written guide over a video guide. A normal playthrough might take you 10 to 12 hours, but if you want to pick up every collectible and complete all challenges you are looking at roughly 20 hours.

You can play through the game on any difficulty you like, since there are no achievements keeping you on strings to have you going through it on the hardest difficulty. There are also no buggy or glitchy achievements, so this game is brilliant for completionists. There are a few points in the story that might need an additional save-slot, but I'll point those out while going through the game since there are not a lot of enemies after you have completed the main story line. You can still free roam (to collect relics, GPS caches, or to complete challenges) and encounter some; but most of them will not help you towards some achievements.

Before you start this game, you should take note of one missable achievement; which requires you to talk with every one of the Endurance crew until they stop talking. This will also be pointed out in the guide, but be warned: if you miss one character or even miss one chat; you miss the achievement and you will need to restart the game!

The multiplayer achievements are not that hard and can be boosted in private matches except for one. There are 2 achievements that are a bit grindy, but with the right boosting buddy you will have a blast since you will boost each other EXP while doing suicide/grenade launcher-kills (see what I did there laugh). Most achievements can be done with 2 people but one requires you with at least a group of 4 to start a ranked match. Of course, more of that will be included further.

There are a total of 50 achievements where 1 is story related and 16 are multiplayer. The other 33 achievements are unlocked while playing through the story, collecting the things needed and completing whatever is required in each area. To make it easier for you (and in all honestly for me); I have divided the story into the areas. That way you can collect and complete everything possible on that particular page.

With this wall of text in mind, let's start our history lesson with Lara Croft as your teacher clap!
