Welcome to Toy Soldiers: Cold War. A really enjoyable game, which gives us a funny story about a dark part of Human History, The Cold War.... A war that (thank god) never happened. The Cold War was a state of political and military tension after World War II, between powers in the Western Bloc (United States and NATO allies) and powers in the Eastern Bloc (Soviet Union and its allies in the Warsaw Pact). But we're not here to talk about history, we're here to play video games. This is my first walkthrough and I hope you like it. I will put the achievements in the same order that I got them.
1) Start the game in Campaign mode. You'll have to clear 11 levels in the game. In each level you have one challenge, and two decorations to earn. The challenges are only to upload scores to the leaderboards, but decorations will net 2 achievements in the game. Don't worry If you don't get all decorations in one play through, as you can replay any mission at any time.
2) After you finish the main campaign, start the Minigames mode. Here you have six missions with 1 challenge in each. Every challenge has to be beaten up until level 2, when you finish this mode you'll earn 2 other achievements.
3) Now that you are more experienced, try the Survivor mode, you'll need to survive until wave 10 for an achievement. If you try this with a partner, you also get the Synergy achievement. This is a great mode for working on Clutch Repairs, if you don't have them yet.
4) In Versus mode, there are 2 achievements to earn. You can play this with a friend in Xbox Live to make things more fun, or like me, just set-up 2 controllers to make things faster.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy the game!
