Welcome to my achievement guide for Wallace & Gromit 4: The Bogey Man.
This game is a point and click adventure and with that in mind it won't provide any challenge when played along side this walkthrough. Be warned that the walkthrough does contain what some might describe as spoilers. I've tried to keep them to a minimal to avoid... well, spoiling anything too much!
This game will only take a single playthrough that will take up to 3 hours to complete. It's important that you follow the guide, as with most point and click adventure games there are missable achievements. I've laid the guide out so that you just need to follow short and to the point instructions, if you don't follow them you run the risk of missing an achievement so please follow them exactly how I've laid them out!
Now that's out of the way I suggest you click onto the achievement walkthrough page, there are no tips for this game.
Due to the nature of this game there are no tips or hints. The only thing that needs to be said is that for minimal effort you need to follow the guide exactly as it's laid out, if you don't you run the risk of missing achievements.
Here are a few pointers though. Throughout the course of the game make sure to mash "B" during cutscenes to skip the dialog and significantly cut down on the length of the game, of course you're completely free to ignore that if you want to experience the game!
You'll control the characters movement via your left thumbstick, you control what you're interacting with via your right-thumbstick and you can select items from your inventory by pressing "X" and then pressing "A" on the item you wish you use.

Chapter 1: The Golf Club Membership
First of all walk over to the bread-box that's to the left of the window and interact with it, this will unlock the first achievement;
Memory LaneLight as a feather...it's a Bake-O-Lite loaf!

Now use the lever on the wall to the right. Use the dining room door and then pick up the scissors, now you can use the scissors with the newspaper on the armchair. Walk over to the crate to the left and use eavesdrop, once you've done that leave the room and select the front door to enter the front garden area, use eavesdrop again... and then click on the front gate and walk to town.
When you reach the town centre use the Prickly Thicket envelope and then interact with the crates of Nut Butters, now head over to the news-stand and use the photo of Wallace with the Extreme Putting magazine. Now that's done you can walk back to West Wallaby Street, once you're back in your front garden use the sticky nut butter with the feeding tray in front of the tree, now pick up the Super Sticky Nutter Butter and head back to town and once you arrive, use the Super Sticky Nutter Butter with the crates to the left of Mr. Paneers shop and you'll complete this chapter of the game, unlocking the achievement for doing so;
Chapter 2: The Golf Club Deed
We're gonna grab another achievement right at the start of this chapter, to speed things up you can skip Wallace's dialogue! First of all though use the driver with the ball. Now that's done you can ring the tee time bell that's to the right of Duncan and select to use the slicing wedge, then use the slicing wedge with the far tee... this will result in a big fail and cause Duncan McBiscuit to laugh at you. Once he's finished laughing select the slicing wedge again and use it with the far tee, causing Duncan to laugh some more, when he's finished laughing repeat the process one last time and the next achievement will unlock;
Exit the building and head to town to receive your first clue, from town immediately head to West Wallaby Street. Once you arrive at your house, use the front door and enter your house, then enter the dining room. In the dining room interact with the glass of milk on the table, then pick up the wrench inside the crate by the porridge gun. Now exit the dining room, use the front door and walk back to town and walk over to the police station and use the wrench with the jail window for the next achievement;
Now use the milk with Edwina Gabberley (the woman working at the newsagents). Use driver with some super-sticky nut butter and then use that driver with Officer Dibbins, who is standing by the fountain in the middle of town. Now walk back to West Wallaby Street and use the driver (with the Ganges grip) with the gnome found nearest to the fence (he isn't holding anything) and you'll unlock the next achievement;
Walk back to town and head to Prickly Thicket, once there use the driver (with Ganges grip) with the cue ball on the snooker table to receive the second clue!
Now that you're back in the golf club we'll work on another achievement, use the "tee-hee" bell that's found on the wall to the right of Mr. Paneer, use the bell a total of 6 times. The achievement won't unlock just yet because we need to hear 3 more jokes but we need the new joke book and we don't have that yet! Now use the clock near Rory McBiscuit, walk past the 5 panels of Rory McBiscuit for the next clue, finally use the music box on the shelf.
Use the tee time bell and the use the hooking cleek (which is the red club), use the hooking cleek with the close tee. Now swap the hooking cleek with the straight iron (the straight iron is Duncan's yellow club, you need to swap these clubs over while Duncan is laughing. If you don't you'll have to repeat this section). Now use the slicing wedge with the close tee and then swap the slicing wedge with the hooking cleek (again, you'll need to do this while Duncan is laughing, if you don't you'll restart this section). Finally use the straight iron, then use the straight iron with either the close tee or far tee (either will do).
After a lot of talking (which you can skip if you want to), walk over to the painting behind Duncan and use the porcelain key with the porcelain padlock, use the silver key with the silver padlock and finally use the golden key with the golden padlock. This will complete this chapter of the game and unlock the achievement for doing so!
Chapter 3: The Golf Club Tournament
First of all select the long hole, then use the "Wallace" sign and then use the "Duncan" sign (both of which can be found in front of the newsagents). Use the tee-hee bell and then pick up the joke book, now walk to town and head to West Wallaby Street. Once you've arrived there approach Mr. Paneer and use the joke book with him, do this a total of 3 times and provided you've followed this guide and got him to tell you 6 jokes earlier on then you'll unlock the next achievement;
Now use the measuring club while Duncan is laughing at the joke and then use the Wallace sign with Mr. Paneer. Exit the house and walk back to town. Once you're in the town centre select the remote and select to play the short hole. Descend into the sewers by using the manhole, use the Duncan sign with Wallace. Now go up the ladder, down the ladder, up the ladder, down the ladder and finally back up the ladder (we had to do that to work toward another achievement that we'll unlock later!), anyway... Now head back to West Wallaby Street.
Once at West Wallaby Street use the front door to enter the house and then enter the dining room, listen to the radio and then use the package on the dining room table. Exit out of the dining room and then exit the house and walk back to town. Descend into the sewer, go up the ladder and use the oscillating fan and then head back down into the sewers. This next achievement is a little hit and miss (excuse the pun), some people have managed to unlock this a couple of swings early while others have had to make a couple of extra swings for it to unlock, all I can suggest is to keep using the golf clubs and keep swinging until the achievement unlocks, it should only take 7 but keep going until you get it;
Now use the Ganges grip, use the mushrooms and finally use the valve. Now go up the ladder and walk back to West Wallaby Street. Once you're at your house, enter it and use the Wallace sign with Mr. Paneer for the next achievement;
Exit the house and head back to town. Now use the stamp (or address label) with the long ball, use golf clubs and then walk back to West Wallaby Street. Use the front door to enter the house and the long ball will appear, use the front door to exit the house and use the measuring club with the tree (the tree in Miss Flitt's garden). Use golf clubs and then use the mushroom with the 18th hole, use the golf clubs again and you'll complete this chapter of the game and unlock the achievement for it.
Chapter 4: The Golf Club Traps
This is a pretty short chapter, from the start of it you'll be trapped and to escape you'll need to talk to each person in a specific order. Here's a list of who you need to speak to and the order in which you should speak to them;
Crum, Dibbins, Edwina, Prudence, Felicity, Paneer, Duncan, Crum, Dibbins, Felicity,
Paneer, Duncan, Crum, Dibbins, Wallace, Edwina, Felicity, Paneer, Duncan, Crum,
Dibbins, Wallace, Edwina, Felicity, Prudence, Duncan, Crum, Dibbins, Wallace.
Once you've done that, walk to the left of the screen and use the ball cleaner. Walk to the right and stop at the cuckoo clock, use the measuring club with the chomping gate. When you've done that you can interact with the chomping gate and enter that room, in there you'll need to use the ball washer with the tea time bell (the bell on the right). Now exit this room and select to use the measuring club with the pendulum. Finally walk over and use the sand trap door and you'll unlock the last 2 achievements in the game!
And with that, you should now be done with the game! Congratulations and thank you for using this walkthrough!
