3. Woodle Tree Adventures Story walkthrough

Video Walkthrough (credit to Sangriaz from TheHiddenLevels):

Tutorial:

After the conversation ends, walk to the fairy tear directly in front of the tree with facial hair. You will now be in front of a house that the tree has built for you. Enter the house and head up the stairs. grabbing the blue "bag" which looks like a circle along with a green leaf. This leaf can be used to start levels and attack enemies with cn_B. Head back downstairs and press cn_B up against the spinning globe in the living room to begin the first level.

The objective of each level is to collect the three fairy tears and deliver them to the end of the level. Most of the levels are linear but I will take you through it nevertheless. Provided with each level will be a picture showing the location of all three fairy tears (circled) if you prefer to just have a glance and guide yourself.

Level 1:

Level 1

Level 1 part 2

If the game or camera glitches just pause and return to the hub, it happens. Also, I won't point out every berry so when you see them, grab them. When farming them for the final achievement, it is easiest to farm them at the very end on Extra Level 2. I grabbed the easy ones and avoided the ones that looked risky to get.

Start by jumping (cn_A) up the building and up again to the next level. Move right and run into the white dude with the birthday party hat. You will teleport back to the beginning. Head right across the log, dropping underneath the waterfall and heading right again. Press cn_B to have the leaf hit and kill the caterpillar, then continue right going up platforms until you are by a giant tree. Use the cn_RS to zoom out the camera and you will see additional berries by the cliff. Go to the right and drop down to see more berries, in a fenced area. However, don't go all the way to the right as there is a hidden room before the fences. In this hidden room is your first fairy tear, you need all three to finish the level. Jump up a bunch of steps going around a cliff edge, be careful not to misjudge your jumps here.

You will land by a cat-like creature with long stretchy legs, with five berries nearby. Grab them and avoid the cat-like creature, heading down toward the screen until you see a bunch of wood logs stuck straight up in the dirt. Jump up and you will reach a yellow platform. Grab all of the berries and then jump off to the left toward the logs you first travelled up, returning to the bottom floor.

Go toward the screen and you will see a bunch of green bushes in a brown pit. To the left, you will see some brown steps, go up them. Now go back toward the screen and watch out for the sheep. Grab all of the berries and return to the area with the bushes in the dirt. Head up and past the cat-like creature and up the three tree trunk platforms toward the sugar cube enemies, kill them all. Head up another three tree trunks and grab the fairy tear before heading back toward the screen for more berries. Drop down and get on the elevator, ride it up but jump off the back side of it half way up. Grab the fairy tear and berries, using the platforms on the right to jump up to the top level.

If you are having trouble jumping up, you can use the top of the elevator and drop down the platforms to grab berries. Then you can return to the top of the elevator to get to the top platform again.

Head up toward the little hut and head to the left, past the cat-like creatures, smashing party hatters and snagging berries in the process. Mashing the jump button (cn_A) makes you move faster in the water. Continue up the platforms and you will now be heading right, on a yellow platform with yellow trees. The green enemy here is super aggressive so slowly walk toward him mashing cn_B to hopefully kill him. Grab all the berries here, including the ones on the lower level that are below the sideways elevator. Then use said elevator to get to the other side. Exit and get back on top of that elevator for two hidden berries. Now jump across the platforms and with the three fairy tears collected, you will complete the first level.

To see the leaves you unlock for collecting berries, go to the right of your house. To the left of your house will now be a berry counter. You can replay levels and quit out at any time to earn more berries. Head inside your house and hit the globe to the right of the one used for the first level.

Level 2:

Level 2

Level 2 part 2

Please note that pausing the game on this level may cause a random camera angle change, I don't know how or why but I paused so much that it happened to me. Zoom out and note the two visible water drops. Skip all the random berries that are laying around as they will only delay you on this level.

Head straight up and turn right when you are on the platform with the hut. Take the lower path to get to the fairy tear. Return to the hut and head up. When you hit the yellow grassy platform here the camera angle will change. Jump up to the platform on the left and you should see the last fairy tear slightly to the left of the water spouts. Drop back to the yellow platform and head forward, jumping along the platforms and grabbing the second fairy tear, with this the camera angle should change again. Continue left through the water spouts and then left along the bottom platforms. Eventually, you will come across what looks like it should be a moose. Kill him while up against the hut. Continue to the left and slightly in front of the stairs leading up, you can walk to the left some more toward a sheep. Kill it before continuing on, noting the spikes on the roof.

It may look like you need to jump, but when there are spikes you shouldn't. Just walk and it should bump you up. At the end of the yellow platforms, the camera angle will change and you will hop onto a green platform. From here you will find a pathway that is bordered by tiny bushes and on the right will be your final fairy tear. Go left and up toward the water spouts, using them to reach the end of the level.

Hub:

Enter the house and hit the globe to the left of the first level globe.

Level 3:

Level 3

Climb the initial platforms until you are on a grey platform with yellow fencing. Head to the left slightly and zoom out, from here you can see all three of the fairy tears in this level. Refer to the image above for reference. Continue up and to the left, jumping over a gap and grabbing the first fairy tear. Drop off the ledge and go back up or return to the right, whichever you find easiest. Then progress upward until you meet the green enemy again. Kill him, head to the right and jump onto the platform. Kill the caterpillar here and drop down, heading left and through the short maze to grab the second fairy tear. Now get back to the platform that the green enemy was on.

Head up, away from the screen, and you should get a really good view of the fairy tear on the right. Jump across the platforms and reach it. It is above a yellow platform with a moose enemy running back and forth. Time it well and you can easily avoid him. While jumping up the pipes, try to stay on the edge and hold cn_A to get a higher jump. A running jump is necessary for these. Head back to the previous platform with the blue watery platform and use it to jump onto the hut. Use the stair-like platform system to the right to get to the top, keeping to the left and killing the party hatter. Go up and over so you get a good drop on the green enemy and jump past him to reach the end of the level.

If you have 400 berries (which is highly likely by now), you will unlock:

Enter your humble woodle house and use the globe floating on the chair, near the stairs.

Level 4:

Level 4

Start by zooming out and noting the two very visible fairy tears. There is a new enemy in this level, the bumblebee. Avoid this useless enemy and head toward the party hatter. Avoid grabbing the berries in the honeycombs as they are an easy way to end up back at the start. At the top, jump on the yellow platform just past the green enemy. Continue left until you get the first fairy tear then return back here.

Head across the yellow platforms, but this time away from the screen. Go through the building and out the other side, working your way toward the only visible fairy tear at the moment. Afterwards, jump up on the hut and up the treetops to the left. At the top of the treetops, if you zoom out you will see the final fairy tear.

Jump across to the yellow honeycomb platforms and halfway up, start heading toward the screen again. On the green platform, you will find the final fairy tear. Grab this and return to the yellow honeycomb platforms, then continue up. Go around the bees by following the berries. At the top, you will see a green enemy, ignore him and stick to the far left to go around him and to the end of the level.

You may have unlocked the achievement for collecting 500 berries already, but it should unlock once this level is finished.

Head into the house and go up the stairs, on the bed is the globe for the fifth level.

Level 5:

Level 5 part 1

Level 5 part 2

Immediately note the fairy tear behind the octopus and go collect it. The easiest way to get it is to go straight forward, then jump up and over the octopus. The water here will not kill you. Head back the same way to where you started and this time go to the top, across the thin platforms to the left and across a pipe toward the screen. Don't run here or you'll likely fall into the water. Zooming out will show you the second fairy tear which is to the left of a water spout. Continue up and around on this pipe as it is very linear. At the end jump to a sandy platform and go toward said water spout.

Don't go into the hut here as my camera glitched when I did, it simply isn't worth the two berries. If it glitches just try to keep going to the left and it should fix itself. If not, restart the level. You will now hit another red pipe section that will lead you directly to fairy tear number two, zoom out if you get lost. Jump on the sandy platforms to the left, then run between the two octopuses and continue left. When you run into another sideways walking crab, zoom out and note the purple shell hut in the bottom left. Inside is the final fairy tear, grab it and finish the level by going all the way to the left. Again, zoom out if you get lost, however, as the path is pretty linear you shouldn't need to.

Hub:

Return to the top floor of your house and hit the only other globe that is up here.

Level 6:

Level 6

There's no level like a snow level, or there's snow level like an ice level, and this is thankfully the final story level. Zoom out and you can see all three fairy tears easily. One is immediately to the right, with a berry trail leading to it, while two are up in the top right near where the end of the level is. Start by going to the right, dropping down, going back up and across to the first fairy tear. Return to the start of the level by just walking off the edge.

Jump up to the houses and run past the enemies, following the berry trail, until you hit a snowy cliff edge. Jump up the cliffs to the right and up, then run back to the left and go up another level. Go right, past the cat-like creature and you will get the second fairy tear of the level. Now jump up the cliffs following the berries towards the final fairy tear, the middle one has a well-hidden enemy here so be careful. Zoom out if you get lost. Continue up the platforms with three more well-hidden enemies and when you see the octopus you are home free. Run past him and it's game over.... or is it!?

Walk behind the house and find the globe with 500 on it. This extra level will unlock once you have collected 500 berries, which you should easily have by now. Hit it to enter the extra level.

Extra Level 2:

Bonus level 2 part 1

Bonus level 2 part 2

Note that the end of the level is also the starting point here, so dying is a fast way to get back. Head to the left on the yellow platform and don't drop down. The first time you run this will be to complete it, not to farm berries. All the way to the left beyond several enemies and platforms is the first fairy tear. Drop off the edge once you have collected it to return to the start.

Walk to the waterfall on the left that appears to drop into nothingness. Drop down here and then also the next waterfall to find the second fairy tear. Drop off the edge again to return to the start.

Now move away from the screen and go up a bunch of little green platforms. Go all the way to the top by following said little platforms in a circle, in either direction. Heading away from the screen, past a turtle, you will see a bunch of logs with party hatters hiding behind them. You can jump over them or just kill them, the choice is yours. Continue this way and to the right until you get the final fairy tear. The fairy tear is found on a progressively taller log step system. Fall off the edge after you have collected it to return to the start, then end the level.

Extra Level 1:

Bonus level 1

You start with a fairy tear in plain view, so go grab it. This can be tricky because if you fall in the water the camera angle might change. Just take your time and use the shadow beneath you to aim for the very thin logs. Staying underwater and walking away from the starting location, you will eventually reach a dead end. There is a fairy tear on the left side of this dead end. Go back toward the start a bit and climb up to the left on the red platforms that lead out of the water.

Kill the three moose enemies on the platform and then zoom out and you will see that back a bit is the final fairy tear. Return toward the start while looking to the left for a path up and out of the water, using a water spout. Follow this linear path to the final fairy tear (jumping over a really annoying section of platforms) and head back to the platform that had three moose enemies on it. Go into the water, away from the screen, and at the end of the path, turn left to reach the end of the level.

Now, all that should be left is to farm berries, in turn unlocking the remaining leaves. Use Extra Level 2 to complete these tasks by running the level over and over again. You do not need to complete the level, you can quit to the hub and the berries will still count. I got roughly 180 berries every 3 minutes and this took about 40 minutes to finish. Here's a video that will show a quick path you can take:

Once you have collected 3000 berries, you will unlock the final achievement:
